    Wine pairing

This was hands down one of the best meals of my entire life. The interior of the restaurant is absolutely stunning and the service is elite. We arrived early and sat in the bar/lounge area to sip cocktails while we waited. I ordered the Velvet Eclipse, essentially an espresso martini. It was rich, not too sweet, and not too bitter. It was perfect. They also brought out green olives and savory seasoned crackers for us to snack on. They kept them refilled as well, which was nice. The service was fantastic and we never wanted for anything. We did their three course menu with the wine pairing. The Sommelier was brilliant and I loved everything he selected. To start, they brought out a bread basket and amuse bouche which consisted of a savory cream puff filled with a liver mousse and a little tartlet. Both were excellent bites. For my first course, I had the risotto primavera. It was cooked to perfection and the saltiness of the Parmesan with the sweetness of peas was incredible. Next, I had their steak, which was absolutely perfect. It came with a mushroom ketchup that really elevated the meat's natural flavors. For dessert, I had the Congolese chocolate torte, which was incredibly rich while having such a light texture. Each course was excellent and imaginative. Be sure to do the wine pairing, it's well worth it! This was truly a Michelin star experience!

A delightful meal in a sea of fried fish and crispy chips. We ordered from the pre-theater menu. Perfect amount of food for an early dinner and if you're not too hungry! The menu changes every season, so glad to have caught the last day of the spring menu. :) Service was excellent. Also recommend the seasonal Bicyclette drink if you can, gin-based (you're in London, after all) and strong with notes of honey.

Came prior to my show and thoroughly enjoyed the three course pre-show dinner offer that they had (45 pounds). I had the option that came with a glass of champagne, coffee, and a canelle (59 pounds). From the winter prefix (January), I chose the mussel dish, purple dish, and apple crumble tart. Prior to the meal, I enjoyed the complimentary amuse-bouche and sourdough bread. Enjoyed the meal and I would come again if I had the opportunity.

This was my first Michelin-star experience, and it was incredible. The modern, sleek interior felt upscale and cozy. Service was attentive and genuine. We started off with some delicious sourdough bread, a pea tart, and puff pastry filled with chicken pate. I have never had pate, and wow was it good. Salty and tasty - both my wife and I made audible "yums" as we ate. My next course was agnolotti with ricotta. It was divine. Truly one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The pasta was homemade and the perfect al dente. There were so many textures in the dish. I cleared my place. My wife had the crisp Sutton hoo chicken, and she raved about it. My entree was the Cornish monkfish. Another first for me, and the seasoning was perfect. There were so many layers of flavor, and the fish had a meaty texture, making it equally satiating as delicious. For dessert, the Madeleines were an experience. Warm, freshly baked, incredible texture, and accompanied by vanilla ice cream with the titular wild honey! Just pure yum! This was a delectable dining experience!!

Their pre theatre dining is a fantastic deal. I was a little nervous that for 40 pounds I'd leave hungry, but I left full and satisfied. We started with an a la carte snack of whipped cod's roe, fig oil, nasturtium. I'm glad they bring bread, because it went really well it with. Their bread is actually a huge highlight of the meal, it is delicious. I started with a kind of chicken pate looking thing that was absolutely delicious. For the main I got cornish cod, which was also very well done, it could be cut with a fork. The only thing I was meh on was the dessert, the rice pudding. I found it just ok, but I wish they had a cheese plate option for the desert, I'm not really into sweets. On their sample menu there is a cheese option so it may be worth asking. There isn't a bathroom close by, you have to walk through the hotel, which I find a little odd. Otherwise the ambiance is beautiful and the staff was very attentive. I would be happy to come back here and would recommend it if you are looking for a pre theatre place to eat.

The ambience was lovely. Michelin restaurant so the portion was small but excellent. The sauce was to die for. Our server Vicky was great, very attentive. We were celebrating our anniversary so they surprised us with dessert. Definitely would go back.

Came here for a work dinner and they had great ambiance. We ordered a couple of snacks to share - cheese croquette and a couple of salami. I honestly loved all of them! The eel starter was not my favorite, but the veal main was amazing. Tender, perfectly cooked, and paired well with the jus and sides. Oh, and dont skip on the dessert! The wild honey ice cream served with fresh honeycomb is Definitely a solid choice for dinner. I saw they had a pre theater menu as well which looked really good!

I was so excited to make their early/pre-theater dinner part of our West End day. But I shouldn't have been. I didn't find the food to be particularly outstanding. It was fine, but nothing I would write home about. I'm only writing about it here because, well, that's what Yelp is for. The plating was so odd- my fish was served lukewarm on a hot, hot plate and in a way that made it impossible to put all components into the same bite. My partner's pork belly came in the saute pan with a plate on the side. I don't even really remember dessert unfortunately. My biggest comment is on the service. We arrived before 5:30, and barely made our 7:30 show. We waited nearly 45 minutes between the first 2 courses which is rather absurd. The only reason we were able to be on time was because someone noticed us checking our watches and getting anxious. He was the 1 person on the wait staff who was friendly; the rest were just downright rude. I'm sorry I did not get his name but he saved our night. We admittedly chased Michelin stars when making our dining plan, and the experience at Wild Honey showed us the error in doing so.

Service was great! The food was great as well, the chicken was ok, the pasta was superb. And the dessert- wow! The honey ice cream was such a unique flavor and the madeleines were so warm n fresh with a lemon filling inside

Interior is well decorated. Perfect amount of space which is intimate but not claustrophobic

I started with the Camembert Frit (Camembert cheese coated in breadcrumbs, fried, and served with redcurrant and raspberry coulis). This was delicious! The cheese paired so well with the raspberry coulis and it was no greasy at all (perfectly fried). For my main course, I got the Steak d'Agneau au Romarin Grilled lamb steak with red wine & rosemary sauce (served with sautéed potatoes). This was delicious as well! The lamb steak was so tender and flavorful and the sauce went so well with it. The potatoes also went very well with the lamb. I have also had their Filets de Cabillaud Rôti (baked cod fillets with sun-dried tomato and cream sauce), served with leek and potato mash. This was excellent! The cod was so fresh and the sauce was to-die-for! I could have licked all of the sauce off of my plate (if it were socially acceptable haha). The sauce was so fresh and paired so well with the fish. The potato mash was also fantastic--perfect texture. For dessert, I had a rhubarb tart. This was delicious! I loved how the tart wasn't too sweet and I could really taste the rhubarb. The service was also excellent. The servers and managers were very attentive and considerate of my husband's allergies. They were super accommodating, which is the reason we came back again! The have a great price for their prixe fixe menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant! In a nut shell, great service, excellent food, fair prices and great ambience!

The Food: We did the Valentine's set menu, and a fair warning: it creeps up on you! Every course is delicious, but by the time dessert arrived, we were absolutely stuffed. Even if you aren't typically a seafood fan, give it a chance here. The dishes are incredibly approachable, well-balanced, and clearly had a lot of thought put into the flavors. The Vibe & Dress Code: The atmosphere is unmatched, but learn from our mistake! We spent the day exploring Covent Garden and didn't have time to head back and change. You definitely want to dress smart-professional to match the elegance of the restaurant. We felt a little underdressed for the level of experience they provide! Given how difficult it was to get a seat, I would have liked to have been seated in the main dining room with the more impressive array of decorations, but my tiny table tucked away in a corner near the entrance wasn't all bad; decorations were still plentiful, and I didn't feel in the way of passing traffic. With the food, you get what you pay for; which may not be as much as you might think given the "poshness" of the place. Without booze, you shouldn't end up paying more than £50pp. The menu has an array of seasonal favorites like Hertfordshire Beef with a red wine jus, roast chicken with leeks and girolle mushrooms, and seasbass with Autumn vegetables. Seasonal desserts are also available and the booze is seemingly never-ending. You can never go wrong with the chicken here, regardless of season, and with a seasoned sommelier always on-hand, rest assured all your wine pairing needs will be met. The beef and venison dishes are also superb, with both light and hearty sides to compliment them perfectly. Dessert can be a hit or miss. I didn't like my first experience here with the Delice, but my second experience was a delicious poached pear with a superb buckwheat ice cream and buckwheat-infused biscuit. I paired mine with the recommended Bordeaux wine to wash down the sweetness, and let me tell you, it was an extra £14 well spent. Overall, this isn't the type of place you visit every week, or even every month, but it's definitely worth planning months in advance to come during the hholiday season. Reservations are a MUST.
