Such an interesting store, if you have anyone Irish in your life this is a great place to shop for a gift for them. They have a pretty big selection from jewelry to clothes, glasses, sweaters, bags, etc. What is particularly cool is the imported food, snacks, and drinks they offer including iron bru. They sell Fox's jam'n cream raspberry and vanilla biscuits which are awesome. They also have refrigerated items which I'm looking forward to sample. Love going to Faith and Begorra. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable about all of their products and services. I absolutely love all the speciality foods imported from Ireland. They have an amazing variety that my family enjoys. Also their selection is always top notch. I collect nativity sets and was able to get another unique one this year. Lastly, I purchased a plaid cape that I absolutely love. It is soft, warm and fits perfectly. I would recommend Faith and Begorra to anyone looking for a unique experience. I had been looking online for ages for a few pairs of wool socks and came across this lovely shop. They had exactly what I was looking for at a great price, and were shipped very quickly. Incredible customer service. My order was an Anniversary gift for my wife. Many stores would have aplogized (maybe) and responded that they did not have that item in inventory. Instead, Faith & Begorra went well beyond expectations by not only seeking the item from a competitor, but by arranging for that store to ship the item directly to me when the first exchange attempt was caught up in the mail somewhere. This store is wonderful. Beyond the selection of delicious Irish delicacies and unique Irish merchandise the women who run this store are amazing. They are professional and so sweet. I stopped in there on 5/22/17 to get a push present for my wife who delivered my son Aron on 5/20/17 and they made me feel so special. They didn't just sell me something. My husband purchased a white Gold Celtic necklace that was too short. I contacted them several time and even brought it in. I was told the company did not make a longer chain. So I asked to exchange (not return) the necklace for a pendant which I really wanted a bigger one. (more money) The owner wouldn't do it. So I am here stuck with w necklace I can't wear. Oh yeah, they said I should go and buy from a jeweler a longer chain. Sure I should go spend an additional $400 to $600. I am so Irish with Lennox for china and Waterford for crystal, you just lost a very good customer. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at Faith and Begorra specifically the owner Susan. Due to some concerns I had, Susan offered to stay late one night to allow me and my daughter the opportunity to shop for communion dresses. We arrived and gave Susan some insight on the style and budget we were working with. She pulled several styles. I was with my mother and sister in law. We all enjoyed looking through the dresses. Almost 2 hours later, we were unable to make a decision. Susan advised us to take our time... Come back another day or even try another shop. She was extremely kind, patient and caring towards my daughter who at that point was losing steam. I did come back refreshed and recharged. We met Susan again and 3 dresses in-- we found it! Susan made sure the fit was good with room to grow a little. At check out, she reminded me of their no return policy and I did have to sign something saying I was advised of their policy. All dresses are covered and mom and child wear gloves when handling to assure that the dresses stay in pristine condition. We also left with our tiara!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this store for all your communion needs. read more

Stopped in town for an eclectic birthday gift and came upon this cottage of a store. So much Irishness!!!! The staff was super helpful and friendly, and I walked out with a nice sweater and necklace. We went to look for a communion dress for my niece along with my sister, mom, and my other two younger nieces. I will say that the store has beautiful dresses - a few are imported from Ireland and with the exception of these many of the other dresses we found in other stores. The lady who was working there, Robin, was extremely nice when we walked in and was asking questions about my niece's communion and what my sister was looking to buy. After trying on some dresses my sister didn't see anything she loved and the lady sang a much different tune after realizing she would not be getting a sale. My other niece who is 4 needed to use the restroom very bad and when I took her to ask Robin if there was a restroom she told me that they didn't have a bathroom and that I would have to walk up the block and go into Subway to use theirs. I am almost 7 months pregnant and it was sleeting and raining heavily outside - not the best idea to be walking up the block that already had previous snow and slush on it to Subway. My sister asked how a person could work there all day without having to use a bathroom and Robin informed us that there was a bathroom but it was upstairs and private. Meanwhile my niece was saying how she really had to go - how nice of a lady who deals with children often in her store not to care about the comfort of her young customers. We left and wound up going to Sara's Boutique in Rutherford. What a gem of a store! One of the owners, Ciro, was fabulous and my sister wound up buying the dress, shoes, vail, and stockings at a great price - and they even let us use the bathroom. :) I will be needing a Christening gown in a few months - we will definitely be going to Sara's instead and will skip on Faith & Begorra. read more

I consistently go to this store and am consistently disappointed with the service. They may have beautiful things (which are quite overpriced) I will never shop there again. The young sales associate there (girl with long red hair) is extremely rude, not helpful and gives the impression that the customers are bothering her. She threw my credit card and receipt on the counter and slammed the pen down. Never said thank you or gave me a courteous response for shopping there. I have repeatedly been treated poorly there and will not ever return. read more
