Other calls I made put me off to later in the week. My unit went kaput for the last time a few days ago. After receiving a few quotes it seemed that Comfort Atlanta had the most competitive price with options as well. They had already gained my trust previously. Their estimate covered everything needed. So, no reason to use anyone else. John and Andrew came out yesterday morning and crushed it! Chris, as the sales person, was generally quite accessible throughout the process. He had allocated two days for the installation. I noticed after the second day that the job was not fully complete, as expected in the two days (I had carpet cleaners scheduled two days later and wanted to make sure they were done). They came back for part of a third day to complete it. The installation techs were very friendly and explained things to me. It went a bit over the time expected but the job was completed well. So far the system is working marvellously.

The system had lasted longer than expected and we decided to replace it. They were courteous, took the time to explain what had happened, and even gave us instructions on how to keep the air working for short periods of time before installation. These people don't care about servicing their own customers for work they're done. Edit: My wife called and spoke with someone named Tara. She repeated that it was your policy not to make after hours calls for customers unless they had the maintenance plan. She did nothing to make it right. I have friends in this business in South Florida. They've done this for 30 years. I spoke to one of them this morning and he reiterated to me that if he had installed a machine under warranty and it failed, he would come at any hour to fix it. Clearly this is not what you do.

I can't even get a filter in there. Secondly, a major part of it is installed upside down. It is the wrong size unit for the house and the humidity reads between 91 and 99 in this house. And if that wasn't worse, I come home every day to an 82° house because it doesn't even heat temperature. I have a daughter with multiple sclerosis who is very sick in the heat and she has been sick all summer. The owner of Clarks knows this and knows my family he now has come forth since he installed this very conveniently he decided he does not work on mobile homes and will not stand behind the unit they he installed. It's quite possible if it was and everything was the way it should be with the size of the unit. I wouldn't have this problem, but he refuses to come out and fix it or do anything to it because he no longer works on mobile it's pretty crappy. I have gotten an estimate that it will cost me about $7000 to fix it but I don't have so I will be taking all this further. Do not use Clarks and actually I see by their ratings. They don't even have a four star. They shouldn't even be in business.

The worst part was that at the end I was handed an iPad with a tip screen with the minimum suggested tip on the screen being over $500. Apparently, electricians are one of 8 categories allowed to pay no tax on tip, so watch out. Ask if you will be guilt tipped before someone comes to your house.
