The food is amazing at Fulton's Fajita Grill! I got a chance to reacquaint myself with this local favorite Mexican restaurant and a very good friend. Fajita grill is the place to go when you want a good amount of food to your cost ratio. Its also a great comfort food. If you just get everything when ordering a rice bowl, they basically cant even close the lid and the food easily lasts for more than one meal or for two people. The downside is ordering online is spotty with what you get. Sometimes you dont get everything, or they dont make it so you have to go there and tell them to start it. They will always do the line first in person no matter the order of when the online order was placed it seems. read more

I recall it being good like a nice step up from Taco fast food ,,, it is also a drive thru here ... it was something before allowing that feature, KFC or bank. Finally. Good food. We got different types of burritos, the pork quesadilla, pork fajitas, and queso and chips. The place was very busy and chaotic. The service was poor, hence the low star rating. When the server dropped a meal on the floor and then tried to still serve it to me, that makes me wonder how many other times I have ordered food for pick up where this may have happened. She very begrudgingly made a new meal after I told her that she could not serve me a meal that fell on the floor. Good thing a health inspector was not watching today. read more

Fajita grill will always be a favorite of mine. Their burritos are out of this world, and I love the quesadillas. Our typical order is a steak burrito, chicken quesadilla, and a cup of QUESO! The queso is amazing, I prefer their queso over any queso I've had anywhere else. The quesadillas are never greasy, and they put a good amount of toppings in everything you order. The concept of this place is great I don't know if we just had a bad night or what but the only thing hot that we got out of here was the hot sauce!!! Our food was literally COLD. I was truly disappointed!!! Well let me correct that the queso was good and warm but the rest was such a disappointment! I'm a sales rep and today order from the Oswego restaurant for 20 people. I got the taco bar, guacamole and all the fixings. What impressed me from the beginning was how nice and accommodating they were when I call last minute! The girl was so nice and helpful- no attitude like I get from other places like Panera etc. They delivered, food was great and the guacamole was awesome ! Lunch was so good that I got it for dinner I'm Fulton and they were SUPER Nice- I picked up through the drive through and I have to say I liked this better than Moes!! When my husband & I first moved here back in May 2018, we decided to try FG within the first week of living here. Coming from the southwest, we were both happy to see a place dedicated to fajitas. However, we didn't have to finish our food to know that this was going to be the last time eating this garbage. The meat was dry and the flavor was disgusting. Anyone who believes the meat is delicious has obviously has never had real fajitas that are cooked and seasoned properly. Well.. after four years of living here and needing something "healthy" to eat while being out & about and not wanting fast food crap, I decided to give FG another shot. I got chicken fajitas and with a side of steak. All I can say is the ONLY things that were edible were the grilled onions, mushrooms, avócate, the shredded cheese, and the jalapeños. The diced onions were soggy and mushy. The chicken tasted completely awful, the seasoning was $hit, and was over cooked. The steak was even worse! It tasted like dry beef jerky also with disgusting seasoning. The cilantro was mostly stems and was old. The lettuce tasted like it was old and had a nasty aftertaste. The diced cucumber looked and tasted like it was frozen and then thawed, resulting in it too being mushy and gross. The grilled peppers were... well.. let's just say the rest of the food wasn't good and I'm extremely disappointed. Again. Oh.. and the pinto beans! How hard is it to make pinto beans?! For the love of God man... Can you at least get one thing right at this restaurant?! The only reason I'm giving it one star is for two reasons. One, the grilled onions and mushrooms were good. Two, I no choice but to leave one star. Look, if you value your taste buds and want better tasting fajitas, try them anywhere else but here. Please... anywhere else! Save your soul. read more

Love eating here. They are always so friendly and generous with their toppings. I always get a rice bowl and have left overs for lunch the next day. The meat and veggies have been a little on the old side on occasion, but that usually happened later at night, when they're about to close. I don't really fault them for that. One of the things I love is that they have shredded cucumbers. Like others have said, it'd be nice if they had something besides iceberg lettuce. Not a deal breaker for me though honestly. Fulton fajita grill is just going down hill. I love fajita dont get me wrong, but I'd much rather get my food from Oswego's fajita grill then Fulton's. You should never place an order over the phone because it will 100% be messed up, everytime. Food is decent but doesn't taste as fresh as Oswego. Plus Oswego just looks cleaner and like you'd want to eat your food from there. It's also annoying when they forget your queso/ sides even when you go into the store. I'll still eat here but they need some serious work on appeal, and their staff not forgetting things like everytime you go get something. read more

I have (sadly) been here twice, both times were met with disappointing results. The first time I went, I ordered a quesadilla. The meat in it was bland, flavorless, and utterly disappointing. At the time I lived in a larger metropolitan area and was merely passing through this part of Upstate NY to visit family, so I was expecting Fajita Grill to be more on par with a place like Baja Fresh or Chipotle, both of which I like well enough. Instead, I got a chewy mouthful of dry meat that tasted like it had been boiled in dishwater then left on a counter in the desert to shrivel. Disgusting. I went home and complained about it to my Latino housemate who said, "Were there any Mexicans there?" I said, "No." He laughed and said, "Well, see, that's what you get. Don't eat at a Mexican restaurant that no Mexicans go to!" I did not follow his advice. Woe ensued. About a year later, having moved to the area, I was desperate for dinner after working late. I stopped at Fajita Grill, thinking my first bad experience was maybe just a fluke. If only! The chicken was once again terrible, and the grilled onions were so mushy and strangely flavored that it was almost like eating boiled cabbage. I like cabbage. I don't, however, like grilled onions to be reminiscent of it. The staff were friendly, and the prices aren't bad, but the food is terrible. Unfortunately, Mexican takeout isn't exactly easy to come by in Oswego County, so they'll probably be around for a while, especially if they can fool people into thinking they are similar to Chipotle or Baja Fresh. read more

I'm conflicted on this one. I used to frequent Fajita Grill when I lived in the area. It's one of the best places to eat in Fulton if you're a vegetarian. That being said, I did not enjoy my meal here. I got a HUGE burrito that I couldn't come close to finishing. WOW! I have to admit i was hesitant when one of the Advisors for the college where i was performing at, took me here for dinner. I am a huge Chipotle fan. I love the business, the way it is run, the quality of the products it offers and the integrity they take in providing high quality foods, in an efficient manner, for low cost. So i was scared that Fajita Grill would simply not measure up. I am glad to say i was wrong. Greeted by a line of student waiting to place orders, and a smile from the server, i began to get excited. Lots of vegetarian options, I ordered a salad bowl with brown rice (yes they have white and BROWN rice), three types of beans two of which are 100% vegetarian friendly and my favorite part is that they had LOTS of different types of grilled veggies. The grilled peppers, grilled mushrooms and grilled onions were all absolutely DELICIOUS! The CONS to this place: - the line was long and it took us about 20 minutes to get our food - while the options are just as good if not better than Chipotle options, the quality of the ingredients is not to par, the lettuce was a bit mushy and soggy, and the beans were dry, also the flavors were not as bold/strong as Chipotle flavors, which indicates to me that they are likely NOT organic. - Lastly, the salad bowls, they don't offer you dressing so it can taste a little bland if you don't fill your plate with sour cream, salsa and other sauces! still when all is said and done, i would not hesitate to eat here again. read more

UPDATED: As I've previously given fajita grill a 5 star, I'm doing it again! I go here often and got a chicken quesadilla to go. When I got home I bit into it and bit on a chicken bone! I wasn't too upset as things like that can occasionally happen. The next time I went I said to the person I was with "I'm thinking about skipping meat only because of what happened last time". The worker heard me and asked what had happened. I explain and insisted it wasn't a big deal. She got her manager and told her what had happened. Not only did they take care of my meal that day, they did the other two people who came with me too! Because of the way the entire staff handled the situation I will always be a loyal customer. We've gotten food here several times (eat in and take out). It's pretty good and I have really liked the items I ordered (burrito, quesadilla). I also really like the queso and chips. The staff has always been friendly. Here's something amusing to keep in mind: If you eat here, you'll "go green," and I am not talking about being pro-environment! ;) The chips are a mix of plain, red and blue corn. If you eat the blue corn chips, what you "produce" the next day will be GREEN! If you eat enough, it will be bright, nuclear waste green!!! LOL Freaky! I wasn't shocked or anything because I have eaten foods in the past that had a lot of blue or green dye. My SO, however, had not had that experience with food dye. The first time he went to Fajita Grill and noticed this rather colorful result, he was googling medical information and was convinced he had some kind of serious ailment . . . until he talked to me. I ate here a couple of times and each time the food was really good. I got the veggie burrito and by the time they put all the cheese , veggies, rice, beans, olives, guacamole, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and hot salsa sauce it was about the size of a small baby. I managed to eat it all and it was delicious. Had a beer with it. Surprised they had beer. The staff was very nice and made sure when they made my burrito it was mixed together before they wrapped it up. read more

It's very hit or miss depending on who is working. Biggest complaint is how dirty it is. If you look around, especially behind the counter, it's gross.
