I have been to a few of these named restaurants. Going off the grilled chicken quesadilla only this one is the best hands down. The chicken was seasoned so good! My husband's grilled chicken burrito did not get the same treatment on the chicken unfortunately. If it had, it would've been great. Salsa was green-smokey hot and mild and the chips were good. Seated right away. Not busy. Waitress seemed rushed but she didn't even have many tables, but one next to us with 6 people she seemed to really have all her attention on them. Ordered queso fundido as appetizer. She didn't ask what kind of tortillas so when she brought it and we saw it was flour, we asked for corn because of a gluten allergy and she seemed irritated. Plate was dirty and when I brought it to her attention she didn't even apologize, just took the plate and walked away. Always a great place to go on half-price margarita Sundays, and Wednesdays. I think the food is always a solid choice for Mexican food. Still the most reasonably priced in the area in my opinion. This place does a lot of things well. Our favorite are the fajita's and margaritas though. Great taste and portions! These are my favorite shrimp fajitas in the area. My wife loves the steak/chicken fajitas. The house Margarita's are reasonably priced and actually have tequila in them. I personally recommend the large one, but watch it, because they taste good they'll sneak up on you. Also highly recommend are the sopes, burrito suizo, and enchiladas. We always get the chips and guac but the the guac needs salt and the chips are nothing special. I will also say our takeout experience with this place has been terrible in regard to flavor, correctness, and customer service. Two orders ago they forgot the chips with our guac and last time there was no tortillas for either of our fajitas. The solution both times was to give us extra chips and extra tortillas next order. We've eaten here a lot and ordered take out a lot and hands down the dine in experience is much better. They have plenty of outdoor seating and their wait staff is really good. The inside of this restaurant is very nice. The decorations are beautiful, the bathroom has really nice painted pictures. They have quite a bit of parking in the parking lot. The food was just OK to me. First they bring you chips and salsa to your table. The chips were awful. They basically tasted like some saltless chips from a bag. The salsa wasn't too bad. The waitress was nice, I ordered a steak burrito with fries. I asked for no cheese in my burrito and they definitely put cheese. I wasn't a big fan of the actual steak, it tasted very cheap made and didn't really have any flavor. Honestly no seasoning at all. My fiancé ordered the chicken burrito dinner, he said the chicken was OK but also lacked seasoning majorly. The rice tasted like some boxed rice that you can get from Walmart. We both agreed that the restaurant is very pretty inside, but the food in my opinion is not as good as a lot of other places we've been to. Kind of a disappointment. read more

This place has always been a hangout for the neighborhood. They now have an upcharge for parties of 5 or more. Why? They won't split checks. Why? They charge extra for credit card payments. Why? Food was ok tonight. Margarita tasted like all mix and no booze. No salt on the rim. Sad that they have not only raised their prices but are now nickel And dining in every way they can. have been to this restaurants 5 times in last couple years. Every visit has been the same. Great! The service is excellent, very clean and festive. The food is amazing. I have tried tacos, Fajitas and I had the steak burrito suizo Saturday. My first bite made me want lunch here everyday. The burrito was giant. I ate half there and the rest Sunday for lunch. The manager came to our table asking if all was good and if we needed anything. I live 35 miles from here. This will be my lunch spot every time I do business in the area. read more

I had a taste for some Mexican food. I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor and spices that were delivered at the Fajitas Mexican Restaurant. It was me and my baby sister and we both ordered the carne asada plate. You could taste the authentic Mexican flavors and the skirt steak was char grilled to perfection. The marinate on the steak had such a robust flavor of spices. I could tell the chef took his time marinating the steak. My taste buds were dancing from the cumin, cilantro, garlic, soy, orange & lime juice in their marinade. Ohhhh it was a perfect marriage of spices! I had the chips and salsa before the meal so I couldn't eat all of my food so I took it home and had it for lunch the next day. The flavor the next day were incredible. Can you say winner winner Mexican dinner! The staff was friendly, attentive and our waiter checked on us frequently. Since I was driving I didn't have any of their spirits but I saw this woman with a margarita that I know on my return trip I'm ordering. This place has me hooked! Haven't been here in a long time. Recently moved to the area and wanted to go back and see if it's what i remember! Wide variety of food to pick from on their menu. My family and I went there for a Friday lunch. Horrible service, horrible food, and horrible drinks. We waited for a while to be seated, and there were only 2 other patrons in the entire restaurant. We had to go and find our server twice to ask for water and tortillas. We ordered the chicken and steak fajitas - TRASH! If you like authentic Mexican, don't go here. The steak and chicken were both tough and not seasoned. I had a margarita and it tasted like it was a pre-mix straight out of the bottle. I didn't taste any tequila at all! Oh! We have been a weekly customer at this location since the Fajitas on Harlem closed. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the food is very good. Unfortunatly, tonight was a very unfavorable experience. After shopping all evening for Black Friday Specials at Brookside Mall, we arrived at the restaurant shortly after 9 pm. We ordered our appetizers and dinners About 9:15. We were served and started eating about 9:25 pm and very soon after we were brought our dinners, I was overcome by an unbearable, obnoxious smell. I looked over and our waiter was mopping the floor with a very "PineSol" smelling floor cleaner. It was so strong we were unable to stay there. It actually was stinging my eyes! We called him over and asked him what time the restaurant closed and he said 10PM. I said "Why are you mopping now with customers eating.when you don't close for 1/2 an hour?" I placed an order for pick up but was disappointed in the nachos. I ordered regular nachos which comes with beans and cheese but there was literally a heap of dry chips underneath cheese with barely any beans and the price is $11. Crazy expensive to not have them come with plenty of beans and cheese if you have to pay $16 for everything else they consider "supreme". 6/29/21 I was in the neighborhood for a Doctors appt so we decided to go to FAJITAS for a quick lunch. The waitress was not friendly at all to start. She never even told us her name. The waitress brought the bill and it was $5.00 more than we expected it to be. We asked the waitress what was the reason for the big change in the price. The waitress with long curly blonde hair was incredibly rude from start to finish. We asked if we can do separate checks and she shook her head no and gave a dirty look. We have gotten split checks before. She did not come back and ask if we needed more drinks. We tried to get her attention several times and when we finally did she came over to our table and said "what?" Then we ordered one peach margarita and one lime margarita and she brought one peach and one mango. When we told her it was supposed to be lime she still charged us for the incorrect extra margarita. There was an additional charge for using a card to pay. Unfortunately we had 7 people and were forced to pay a 20% gratuity which was not deserved. I get home the sour cream is on the food and they gave me corn tortillas, I called and now they act like they can't speak English so I ended up going back up there, the waitress wanted to argue and say that's not what I ordered and the sour cream wasn't like that. Terrible service!!! They messed up my order again!! My 18 year old son went in there for me to get a to go order. Only ordered 1 cheese enchilada- flour tortilla w/ sour cream on the side. Manager/owner tried to charge him for an extra sour cream and put it on a corn tortilla. When I called to let her the order was wrong she was so argumentative and would not let me explain!! Just got back from here. Most horrible experience in about 30 years. Ate at the Bar and I believe had Ana as our server. Asked for Tacos with Flour Tortillas, but, came out with Corn. So, I asked if I could Flour. That was it, from there forward, so now this became my fault, as the paying customer. Would not provide a drink, when I tried asking 4 - 5 times. When the *new* plate came out, what was originally 2 tacos (1 steak, 1 chicken w/ flour tortillas), now came w/ flour but, just steak and pastor or carnitas. Again, when done eating, was going to ask for another beverage, but, instead was ignored purposely, as though I offended her, and she choose to turn her back on me, and pretend to be busy with other things. We left. Last time I will ever be in that establishment and will let all of my family and friends know, I do not recommend whatsoever. What a shame. read more

Food was good by the time we were almost finished we noticed little tiny bugs crawling all over our table and the wall next to us! At first i thought it was just one but all of sudden there was so many!! I was so disgusted and prayed none of them were in our food. The waiter never came back to ask us for more drinks and took forever to bring back to check. We were going to order dessert (before we noticed all the bugs) i went to find the waiter and explained to him there were bugs all over our table. And the wall next to us. The waiter didn't seem surprised in fact he said they knew and they had an especially hard time with the big situation on that side of the wall. Excuse me? You know they're bugs by these tables and yet they're still seating people down there. I asked for a manager and he said she wasn't here. We had an unfortunate situation tonight while dining here. So it started out with a dirty dish that I was given which i let go; I've been in the restaurant business and these things happen, I wiped the dish and let it go. The waiter took our drink order and was attentive at first but brought us the small guacamole instead of the large which we ordered.....to his credit he did fix this. We placed our order and things were fine......until my girlfriend bite into a piece of metal in her taco. We immediately brought this to our waiters attention and he quickly acknowledged that he knew exactly what it was. He nonchalantly said it was something from a scrub brushes they use when they clean the pota and said he would "not charge us for the tacos"......now if this was cooked into the tacos how many others were affected by this???? After we both lost our appetite we were avoided like the plague at this time until we had to flag down our waiter; ironically the "manager". He brought us our bill and ran off quickly....again long delay. Again to his credit, my girlfriends dinner was removed from the bill, however his attitude of "hey these things happen" was unnerving.
