They did an ok job on the barrel, but returned it to me (after about a year) no charge. They said after re assembly, they couldn't get it to function. Reading the AR-15 forums, I was about to send some lower assemblies (lowers) back to Virginia because I could not find a local metal plating company that would anodize them, especially once they're machined. I've heard cerakote, which other local companies offer, is very good, but anodizing is the toughest, which is why the military uses. However, cerakote does offer a lot more color options and such. Call or stop by and talk to Bill if you're unsure, as this company offers both. I had several lowers anodized for approximately a third of the price I was going to have to pay to send them back east. Not only much cheaper, but turn-around time was a couple of weeks, again a fraction of the time if I had to send them back east. And the finished product is very good; I'm sure as good as it gets. Turns out, a lot of the local gun / gun parts shops use this company to coat their products. Highly recommend.
