The welcome upon entering, immediate seating and attention to our group, followed by complimentary warm garlic bread and olive oil dip - so yummy, and our order: an all-vegetarian meal comprising Penne (rich marinara sauce and a welcome crushed red pepper kick), Manacotti (yummy, cheesy), Eggplant Parmigiana (huge , breaded on the outside, very well-prepared, tasty), Tortellini (creamy Vodka and tomato sauce), and a small Caesar Salad side. Drinks consisted of a well-balanced Pinot-Noir and a delightful Riesling. Greenspoint is a pretty run-down area with plenty of poverty that has some food gems and some cool little neighbourhoods - but also has a bad reputation because of its low income and a decent amount of crime. It's still a really great neighborhood and I'd much rather hang out with people from around here than up in the Woodlands where things are a lot more judgy and boujee and expensive.

Sure it has some Woodlands-style suburban areas and quite a lot of homogenized single-race not-diverse Suburban Americana. But it also has a lovely little old town which reminds me of the old west and old style Texas and that gives it the edge over places like The Woodlands, which is a hellish planned community that everybody seems to love because it's so modern, and has all the crappy stuff that today's modern commercialism demands.

At this point, it's not even about the money -- it's about the dishonesty and shady business practices. The entire experience felt deceptive, unprofessional, and sketchy from start to finish. I would strongly recommend checking your bank statements carefully if you eat here.
