Amazing service and a farm to table style food. Unique take on using seasonal ingredients and elevating flavors and textures. Cocktails here were also classy and not overly complicated or dressed up. They use carefully selected ingredients to craft a well-balanced drink. Double check the spirit type so that you get something you like. While I didn't ask to custom make a drink I think they have the talent and ingredients to do so. This location has a special place in my heart (Craige on Main) and the new owners are doing it justice by having excellent service and specialized menu.

Wow! What a beautiful restaurant! The vibe is incredible and the food was delicious. The service was fantastic, sharp, and quick. Highly recommend going here again.

Great food and I loved the plating style. Ingredients were fun and veggie centric, and I could tell they thought about all the textural elements of each dish. It's definitely on the pricier side since it isn't portioned for one dish per person (especially veggie plates), but seemed priced like so. Food itself was great though!

The desserts were 10/10. Japanese cheesecake and some sort of ice cream? WOW. The flavors complimented each other perfectly. The churro dish was the reason that we went... My friend told me about a "cheese ice cream" on it and I was heartily impressed. Service: they refilled our itty bitty water glasses (bowls? our dog has a similar one) I think about every minute. Attentiveness is nice! intrusion in our conversion makes me feel conflicted. Ambience was like an Ikea. It's cool, warm, cozy, trendy. points for that! Food was worse than I was hoping for. We ordered 6 non-dessert dishes and liked 2... 1. duck fat brioche was super good. not enough salted currants or butter/fat (idk what it was). our last two buns were left undressed, though they were great. 2. roasted parsnips. Would not order again. pickled pear, basil and miso were nice, but the dish was small for the price and the purees overwhelmed the parsnips 3. sunchoke. We were hungry and still couldn't eat this thing. Resembled brown fried lumps. Tasted like bad fried dough but was mushy. Nothing to balance it, definitely missing something (salt? acid? unsure) green puree tasted like grass and not in a good way. Pickle strips on top were nice. Completely disappointing. 4. Beets. Wish we didn't order the beets also. Beets with sweet crumbs on top. Poked us in the mouth more than the flavor came through. Again missing something, no idea what the leaves on top were for. Would have preferred goat cheese on it or the jasper hill Whitney I know thats on the menu... 5. Agnolotti. very good, though the pasta itself burst and spilled into yet another puree before making it to our table. Probably half had that satisfying "pop" and spill. Finally a cheese! Still very sweet, even for squash. 6. baby scallops. no notes of citrus like described. tiny amount of food, 5 small bites total. Fresh yes, the right amount of slime. Not really notable. For the price (90 pp no drinks) this was not what I would've hoped for. I would absolutely go back for just dessert!

5 out 5. Foe those who eat with your eyes. Each dish was a perfect build. Beautifully bland! Bring your own salt and spice.

The brunch does not include alcohol as that could be added. The service was amazing, our waitress was constantly filling up our waters throughout the meal and checking up on us. The managers were also walking around checking up on everyone. I highly recommend checking out Batifol for brunch on the weekends. You will not leave hungry!

There were very few redeeming aspects to the meal, and we left feeling both disrespected and unsatisfied as customers. The issues started right away. We ordered drinks--including a pear mocktail--but were brought the wrong ones, and then they attempted to charge us for those incorrect drinks. In hindsight, the cocktail mix-up should have been a warning of what was to come. The pear mocktail itself was also quite bad. The service felt chaotic throughout the night. We asked multiple times for additional servings of steak and fries, but were largely ignored. Meanwhile, nearby large tables were repeatedly served, cleared out entire trays, and still received more attention from staff. For an all-you-can-eat steak frites offering, we each received only one serving despite several requests. As for the food itself, it did not make up for the service. The steak was just okay--some pieces were chewy and overly fatty, though acceptable if refills had actually been provided. The fries, however, were terrible. Our first serving was so hard it was nearly inedible, and the only refill we received was just as bad. I also ordered the spinach risotto, which was slightly better than the steak, but it was so salty I couldn't finish it. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

We ordered the meatballs, the souvla of the day and the salad. Everything was so tasty. You can't go wrong with anything here. The table next to us had the huge sampler which was about $240 but was one of every dish on the menu. This is a perfect choice for six to 8 people. Service was super friendly. They left a large bottle of water on the table, which I love. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. Go here! You won't regret it.

The menu refers to these as "Greek cheese bread" but somehow that doesn't do it justice - these were immensely pillowy and cheesy, with an amazing crust, with homemade honey butter on the side. I could have had just these for dinner and been satisfied. They really nailed the bread. My other favorites: 1. Hipiti: spicy whipped feta with crispy potatoes on the side. I don't do well with spice but I absolutely loved this. 2. Marouli: winter lettuce with the most amazing vinaigrette dressing. My only knock to this is, presentation-wise, they serve it with half of the plate empty and the other half with salad. I don't understand why restaurants do this because - one, it only highlights the smaller portion and two, we're just going to mix the salad all around in the bowl anyway. 3. Boudeto: daily catch in a beautiful tomato broth. For a seafood dish at a restaurant in Back Bay, this was priced at a fairly reasonable $28. The only dish that fell a little flat for me was the tzatziki - needed a bit more seasoning. As it was, I was eating mostly just plain yogurt. The table-side preparation was cool, though. The space is its own visual dinner, there's simply a lot to look at (including a drawing of Poseidon riding a surf board). We got the big table in the back, which was a beautiful glass structure with a whole terrarium underneath. We couldn't stop marveling at it throughout the meal. Our waiter was wonderful - very helpful recommendations, came by to check on us often even though we were pretty far in the back, super patient with our questions. Hard to get reservations but worth it! Don't bother driving / trying to find parking unless you're willing to eat a hefty garage fee, it's Back Bay.

The second time, I managed to land the location but they were closed. But the third time? It was the one! Now here's the twist: even though Gâté bakes most of its pastries in-house, they no longer make their Instagram-famous chocolate mousse there. Instead, it's made here at Zuzu's. So naturally... here we are. I couldn't leave my daughter out of this beauty- so after dinner nearby, we intentionally skipped dessert there and rushed here just before closing. Thank God we did. Zuzu's was actually closed to the public for a private event, but luckily they were still doing take out. A win is a win. Two chocolate mousses to go! And service was great even placing the order by phone. The chocolate mousse is just heavenly. Deeply rich with an intense chocolate flavor that was luxurious and comforting at the same time. Is it too forward to rate just on their chocolate mousse alone? Maybe? But so what- it's just great!
