Great restaurant, they always make great breakfast items here…read more Range is about €11-13 for breakfast And €9 - 11 for lunch Super popular, so it's often crowded, but they are super good with their breakfast items and menu. Super recommend. They have pastries and some of them are nice, like the raspberry scone, eclair, lemon tart and lemon slice.. I enjoyed those. Their chocolate chip cookie is ok, a bit dry. They have coffee too, but il be honest, mediocre, I go for their breakfast.

Service was friendly in letting me try the soup of day as it was Apple, pear and leek soup. Very delicious and light. A varied menu with sandwiches, tarts, fresh veggie variations, desserts - hot and cold drinks as well as wine ! I had the cup of apple pear leek soup with side brown bread. Delicious on a cold day! A cup of hot chocolate made with dark chocolate cocoa as I didn't want too sweet. Perfectly prepared. And the Medley veggie salad. Of housemade beets, potatoes and cucumber red peppers. All was delicious. I tried to sit outside, just a tad too cold. So sat in the warm living room. Nicely appointed and clean. I'm a fan. I'll be back again when I'm in my strolls in this lovely park!

The two connecting dining rooms are amazing and cozy, with a big bar counter at the back, wine racks and a huge assortment of whimsical objects or artwork around the place. Upstairs there's a terrace where you can fully enjoy their tapas menu and maybe even go for a cocktail. There's a set dishes menu, a smaller tapas menu and also the specials of the day, written on a big blackboard - that our hostess kindly perched on a chair in front of our table, improptu style. In both fixed menus there are many vegetarian and/or gluten free options. The wine list was interesting enough, though not perfect. I managed to find a beautiful spanish Verdejo there, so that must count for something. We were served delicious food and the only thing I can point is that my vegetarian stuffed zucchini had a bit too much cheese, but other than that everything was good and their special of the day, salmon, was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately we were both too full to try the desserts, but at least we got to to wrap our lunch up with a nice espresso.

Actually, I expect barely…read moreanything and would normally settle for a crappy burger and a plastic chair while I wait for my flight. Dublin Airport is a bit new and shiny though, and I thought Flutes looked impressive. It's a wine bar with a selection of plates available if you're hungry - bruschetta, meats, cheese board and that kind of thing. It's right in the middle of the shops but if you have a seat you'll quickly forget you're surrounded by people making their way to their flight. I ordered a glass of wine (white zinfandel, so sue me) and the cheeseboard. The wine was delicious, lovely and sweet and just what I needed for a pep. The cheeseboard arrived not too long after and had a nice trio of cheeses, pickles, bread, chutney and rocket. There will never be enough bread/biscuits for the amount of cheese and this cheeseboard was no exception - more bread please! Apart from that, I thought everything was very pleasant and tasty, and not bad value for €14. The wine was probably a bit overpriced at around €8 but one thing I learnt from my week in Dublin is that all their booze is pricey - or maybe Scotland is just too cheap. A nice place to stop and chill out while you wait for your gate to open so you can be on your merry way!

Besides the various red and white wines that are offered, there are some roses and bubbly wines offered too. After settling on a deep, meaty red wine, I bellied up to a cafe-style table to unwind a bit and people watch. What a fantastic way to get ready for a 7+ hour flight home! There are several finger foods offered as well and can be paired with the wines on the menu. Traveling can be stressful at times, but what a super way to start the journey home!

A delicate little wine bar and restaurant located near the Dalkey train station with dim lighting,…read morevery comfortable chairs, and good background music. The wines are available for both dining and off-license sales. The place has an early bird menu till 7 for Wednesday, 34 euros for two courses. The regular menu also has several exotic and gamey items. Entrée: we ordered featherblade steaks medium with chips, house green sauces and salad, and seafood linguine. I was very glad that they had the featherblade steak as I very much preferred non-main-stream steak cuts. The temperature was good, and it was packed with beefy flavor. As in featherblade steaks, it packed a bite, and it might be chewy for some, but it was a pleasant bite for me. The chips were crispy outside and creamy inside. The green sauce was well seasoned, rich in spiciness while also having a hint of grassy flavor. The salad had generous portion of good-quality cheese providing a refreshing touch to the dish. The linguine was perfect al dente with good portion of assorted seafood. In particular, the salmon was well cooked, still slightly pink and creamy center rather than dry in some other cheaper restaurants. The sea sapphire added briny refreshing crunchiness to the dish. Dessert: we had crème brulee and toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream Toffee pudding had rich flavor of toffee but the texture was slightly on the coarse side, could use a bit of refinement. Crème brulee was nice, crispy layer of sugar on top, the egg had lingering milky flavor and buttery texure. Very nice. Overall: 4.5-5 stars. If you can catch their early bird menu, you get great value for money. One bonus point is that their toilet is very clean and it wraps up a very pleasant experience.

But the non-vegan options were delicious as well. The croissant I ordered was buttery, and flaky. The strawberry jam tastes like home made without any added sugar. #3: Affordability: Compared to Dublin, this place is a steal. Finally: A++ go get your coffee and food so you can go walk around Bray or even hike up that mountain.

It only holds about 15 people. But the food, coffee, and service is about as good as it gets. These people are passionate about what they do. I come specifically for the awesome vegan Caravaggio sandwich (on ciabatta). Everything is freshly made by them and unlike anything you will get anywhere else. Except maybe Italy! There are usually lots of Italian customers there, speaking Italian. This is a very good sign. The place is full of interesting old books people are free to browse. A quirk is an underlying 'cat' theme. Quotes and pictures about cats all over. Hand drawn images of cats by customers also adorn the walks, as to Italian record albums. I come way out of my way to come here regularly and will continue to as long as possible. Note: their fabulous bread selection comes fresh daily from the Firehouse bakery in Delgany.
