We were on the Main Street near Niagara Falls and decided to stop in to get some A/C. When you walk into the atrium they have this huge display of a fountain made out of wood. That leads you to the Galleria of Shops and Dining. They have more than 20 dining options. I spotted II Gelato di Carlotta and Shoeless Joe's Sports Grill. My husband told me that he was a baseball player. I didn't know that. We wanted to try some things here, but we were full from just having dinner. This place is huge. It's beautiful and it's clean. Had a wonderful time. Beautiful facility and not a trace of cigarette smoke. Had several table games. Several roulette. I was looking for gai pow. I had searched beforehand and read they had it. Also used their screen in the hallway and the search placed a blue dot on that table but it was not there. They had two Mississippi Stud tables- they obviously need more bc there were no seats most of the time. Then so many tables that were vacant bc nobody wanted to play those- like War and Bahama Bonus blackjack. Only one Carribean Stud table that was also full. Glad I was able to play both after waiting for a seat to open up. On Mississippi Stud they raise the minimum from 15 to 25 in the evening. No free drinks due to Ontario law. That was very different as have never paid for a drink in a US casino. I was here for a concert at the Avalon Theater, and the theater is very nice, and it was a nice place to spend the day for a concert. That being said, with Niagara Falls being a tourist destination, you can tell this place has seen better days, and it really needs a revamp. From the outside, it's incredibly dumpy, and it looks like they built it in 1987 and have never taken care of it since. As far as the casino, it had nicer stuff that I can't get closer to home, like digital roulette and the big wheel. Restaurants were meh, and I just decided to eat in the food court, which is basically in a basement, and the wifi doesn't work down there. I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the hotel part. This place has the potential to be amazing, and is really just mediocre. And parking was $35! read more

The bathrooms were very large which I loved! When we finally found a bar in the middle of the casino. The bartender was very sweet, and funny! Great personality. We did have a machine take our $20. Attended the Fallsveiw food and drink celebrity food festival. It was located in their grand hall. Space was large. The decor was beautiful. Very spacious. The event was easy to maneuver through. The staff was very friendly. They stayed on top of making sure of plates needed to be removed or if we needed anything. For all my foodies and food network junkies this is a do not miss event. Everyone I told we were going thought the price was too high. We paid 225 (candian), per ticket. It was well worth the price. (Getting to meet Rooco DiSpirito was worth the 200 bucks!). The food was amazing, and there was tons of it. No one could have left hungry. There are a variety of local wineries and breweries, and tons of adult beverage choices were to be had. This place compares in size to Vegas casinos. Large! It is much larger than Seneca Niagara, which is on the US side of the Falls. Other difference between them is no free drinks, no free parking, and no wifi. Luckily we were here for a concert at their Avalon Theater and that does include free parking. Outside of the casino itself are numerous shops and places to eat, plus the huge hotel. Obviously, this is a big tourist attraction, and we, like many others, did try our luck on the slots. And ended up ahead! Overall a fun place to check out, but unless I'm here for another reason, like a show or concert, I'm probably not going to make the trip across the border to come here. Going to Fallsview is always exciting because of so many reasons. The view of the falls, people happily walking with partners and families. Some people cross the border to enjoy the view, food, etc. Clifton hill has become a popular and busy spot to spend the day and at night they have fireworks on Fridays and Sundays. In Fallsview the casino, my favorite is to play slot machines. There is a grand buffet, which has a huge variety. There are other restaurants open like Reds, and our locally Brewed Beer. Really pleased to find the casino smoke-free contrary to ones I've been to in the states. It was eerie how we saw at most 3 people outside of the building, there was no indication of how lively it is inside. Baccarat is inside the VIP room. Its original name was Niagara Fallsview Casino and Resort eons ago. I used to work for a company in the casino industry and had to write a brief summary of each casino where we had our products. These days, it has thankfully shortened its name to Fallsview Casino Resort. Better late than never! I have never been a gambler. I go to casinos mainly because I tend to see shows and concerts at their music venue. It is the case here. I tend to see concerts at the Avalon Theatre. Recently, I was there to see Richard Marx. It's a cozy venue to hear and watch live acts perform, complete with a bar and coat check. This casino is nice. There are tons of machines and games to play. There are ATMs if you need to use one. You can sign up for a card that gets you discounts and points on everything, including parking discounts. Speaking of parking, it does get expensive parking at this casino's parking lot. I spent $40 to park my car just to see Richard Marx. It's not cheap, but it is close by. It was a cold night. My usual routine is to park farther away and walk over. I wasn't feeling it on this particular night, especially after getting over a cold and being highly congested. I shelled out. No regrets. The parking procedure is that you park first. When you are about to leave, find a machine by inserting your parking ticket and then paying. I paid with a debit card and was fine. Parking machines are located on the fifth and seventh floors. I was on the eighth. I took the elevator down, paid for parking, and took it up at around 11 pm on a Saturday night. I had no problem finding a parking spot. Parking is colour-coded with letters and aisle numbers, which helped me out a lot. Shopping is fancy and nice at the casino. The Gallery Shops is the shopping area where you can get everything from momentos at Christmas in Niagara Falls, leather accessories and coats from Danier (yep, it exists), popcorn at Kernels (it was tough for me to leave without some), and more. I like the shopping part of casinos. If you want a bite to eat and haven't spent all your money, you can dine here, too. There's the Grand Buffet, which is exactly what the name implies. I like The Falls Deli for its deli sandwiches, pizza, and clam chowder. It's more than just a deli and it's affordable. There are eateries for all budgets. I saw a Burger King and a BarBurrito while I was there. I also walked past a Starbucks when I was entering the casino. There are washrooms everywhere. The one that I went to near the casino floor was spacious and clean. I went there after my concert was over. It's pretty at this casino. I recommend looking up, as the architecture is lovely and the colour lighting makes everything look stunning. It's worth coming here to see a show or to just hang out for the day. Since the takeover by Mohegan Sun, the following player amenities have been terminated. - Christmas party for VIP players cancellation was the first sign - VIP lounge shut down - cash back rewards reduced to a fraction of what they were - fewer outside trips/ entertainment for qualifying players - buffet shut down (yes, a casino with no buffet) - sanitation and cleanliness way below standard. Hand sanitizer stations often empty. The machines are filthy. (You want to shower after you leave) - guest rooms, even the top suites, have grotesque stains on couches, etc. - the machines are tight! Come to Niagara Falls once to twice a year either passing through or to visit. We're not gamblers and had never been to the casino until our last visit. We stayed the night on our way home from the airport. We were exhausted after flying back from Paris. Still jet-lagged we decided to hit up the casino. Well, the question asked here when giving a star rating is Oh no, what could improve. I don't know where to begin as Fallsview has gone downhill for years now and I hate having to write this as it used to be such fun coming here. From the expensive bus ride ($50 but holding my breath every time I book as I'm sure the price will increase at some point), to the hotel and casino it's just become a disappointment. Here now. Our room is nice at first glance but on looking closer yesterday when we arrived it is dirty. It's a suite so separate bedroom area. Walking in the first thing you see is a very large bright bathroom.. with stains all over the floor. The counter has some dried up something because once I wiped it clean with a wet washcloth it came off so those are housekeeping issues. Two sinks, one had dirty faucet handles. Dust on Hard surfaces. In the main area,a glass top desk and coffee table, dirty. The coffee table had dried tomato sauce maybe. It was red splatters of something. The pullout had very obvious quite long hair strands from previous guests and the amount of disgusting stains was gross. We put pool towels on top of it so we could sit down. The bedroom console table was dirty but beds and sheets thankfully were clean and fresh. The issue of dust, hair and stained furniture is in most rooms (I'm here at least every 2 to 3 weeks). The casino is a money pit. Terrible awful payouts. I believe 35 spin bonus at $2.25.. total win was $6 and some change. And that was how it all went It was so bad I was done by 8:15 pm. Spent more time in my room through course of day, thats how bad its gotten. As i say, i don't expect to win a million dollars, or win at every machine but this is pathetic. Dinner at deli was fine but it's always the same and has been since reopen after covid. They did add specials on certain nights. Overall, I'll be scaling back A LOT on my visits. It's just not fun anymore. Even staff are not happy. We've talked to a few here and there during visits. They have said ever since the new owners, everything has changed and nobody listens to them.and they are right. After several surveys sent, absolutely nothing I've written about has changed. When I heard that Enrique Iglesias was going to perform at the Avalon Ballroom Theatre here at the Fallsview Casino Resort, I wanted to get tickets and possibly stay at this resort but then I come to find out you cannot make reservations online and that you have to call to make a reservation. So it was rather inconvenient and the reviews I read about the hotel were mixed so I decided on another hotel. The Fallsview Casino Resort is connected by an indoor walkway to the Hilton and Four Points Sheraton. There is a Galleria where there is The Famous 24 hour restaurant, Avalon Ballroom Theatre as well as the Fallsview Casino Resort's unassuming hotel lobby and spa as well as the casino and other shops. The casino is smoke free and large like one of the Las Vegas casinos. I don't gamble but I just walked around and took a look see. My favorite part of the casino resort of course is the Avalon Ballroom Theatre where dreams were made but that's another review! As far as the 24 Hour Famous, I loved it and it will be in the topic of another review. Went in to play some texas hold-em poker but could not find the tables. I decided to play craps instead, And I am glad I did as I ended up playing for a few hours and coming out with several hundred dollars more than I went in with. I do not know if it is a smoke free casino but it definitely did not smell of smoke at all and I did not see anyone smoking. I had a great time playing craps. The dealers were all very nice and friendly. I had the best roll of the week the dealers said and after that pretty much all the other rollers were bad. I took my winnings cashed out and left. Full disclosure: I'm not much of a gambler. My reason for visiting Fallsview was to see a concert with friends who got free tickets. So I was pleasantly surprised that the lights and the noise level were not nearly as annoying as I remember from the older Niagara Falls casino several years ago. While gambling, beverage carts are circulated with complimentary water bottles, pop and coffee. Okay, it's not free alcoholic drinks like Vegas. But it's still pretty good. Besides the buffet in the casino and some dine-in restaurants, there's a selection of fast food on the lower level. These include Tim Horton's and Burger King. There are also several unique shops if you still have money left after playing slots. The shops offer everything from Christmas decorations to fudge, popcorn to souvenirs and watches. There's no cost to use the coat check. It's only available seasonally. There is onsite parking. Or consider taking a Safeway Tours bus from various locations in the GTA. The buses run frequently and are inexpensive with a Players Advantage Card (PAC). The PAC has other advantages like occasional free concert tickets. read more

This place is huge and you can easily get turned around and lost. Came here for a couple of hours on this visit but the slot gods weren't being to kind to us so we decided to cut our losses and head back over the border to Seneca Niagara Casino where we got lucky and won back everything we lost at Fallsview. We come to Fallsview occasionally for the entertainment. Their entertainment venue is nice. and they seem to draw more popular performers and shows. The only drawback is parking. Unless you gamble a lot or your show ticket includes parking, we think its too expensive to park at the casino. I remember when the original Casino Niagara opened years ago, they had remote lots with free parking and free shuttle buses. That is a thing of the past. If you are staying at a hotel within walking distance then parking at your hotel may be cheaper than at Fallsview. Everyone should visit there at least once to experience it and decide for yourself whether it is worth crossing the border and paying for parking. If you're not here to play at the casino, I think this is a nice place to spend an hour or so looking around. I wouldn't spend more than an hour as there aren't many shops, but they have a Swarovski store and Face Shop among other stores. They do have nice open windows and a nice fountain, but that aside, it's not a super entertaining place. The touch-screen kiosk helps to locate different shops and see what's on different floors. Some of the shops here are unnecessarily overpriced though. For example, the Chinese fusion restaurant General Tso chicken was $20-30. Parking here is $10 unless you have a PAC card and get complimentary parking. read more

We walked into the casino just to look at the casino set-up which is standard with just about all the other casinos I have walked into. Place was not crowded at all, maybe to early for gamblers. Walls of slot machines and table games, My wife walked up on a $1.00 slot, not to much luck with that but found a fifty cent slot machine which she hit a $190.00 jackpot on her second spin so that was good and we walked away. I have 2 complaints about Fallsview First of all I had an issue where your company tried to find me $25 momentum dollars for supposedly not picking up free tickets for the Piff the magic dragon show. I went to your momentum customer service today and spoke to a gentleman who called your call center. I showed the gentleman that I had actually bought my ticket on Ticketmaster for $55 including taxes. Even after I proved that my ticket wasn't free. Your representative said " as a one time courtesy we will refund the $25 momentum dollars but if it happens again they're will be no refund". So even though I proved that I was right and it was your mistake not mine, I was treated like a liar and threatened. June 6 while out with my 75 yr old mom , I realized that due to her injury I needed to cancel my ticket for Kool and The gang. They refused to do it and charged me $25 momentum dollars. Happened June 23. Needed to cancel ticket Jason Isbell, once again they refused, cost me $25 momentum Dollars. I've been to this casino before, but it had been at least a good 10 years since the last time I was here. The hubby and I were staying at the Four Points Sheraton which was connected to the Fallsview Casino. We quickly walked over to take in the sights and hopefully win a few extra bucks. At first we werent so lucky until I made it over to the quarter slot machines. I changed my first $20 into $148 then cashed out. I then put in another $20 and turned that into $388. Talk about luck!! The shops at the casino were nice as well. If you wanted to find something just to buy or if you needed something, you could find it here.
