This theatre is super clean. There is tons of parking. They have many show times. The bathrooms are actually clean. The seats are super comfortable. I even had a movie theatre hot dog & it was surprisingly decent. The movies and food is expensive, but what are you gonna do? I wouldn't mind some indie films once in a while. read more

One of the best cinemas on Cape Cod. Its a classic comfort cinema to catch flicks (old & new during Covid). Prices are very good for tickets and concessions. A lot less than Regal/AMC. New management and staff run it top notch. Very clean and well kept. Another nice touch is seeing the popcorn being made fresh out of the popper instead of being brought in by a large plastic bag pre popped. It's the little things. A small could feed a family. The seats are pretty Comfortable as well with arm rests that recline which is always a plus. Definitely worth a trip to relax and unwind from what is going on in the world for a few hours. read more

Thomas- We first met 15 years ago, when you were yelling at my friends and I outside of the theaters for loitering. An assumption on your part, but we were paying customers waiting for our ride home. Tonight, I entered the lobby as a flustered lady was pleading with you that she had just bought her ticket and somehow misplaced it. I noticed a ticket on the ground, picked it up, walked over and asked her if it was her stub. It wasn't, so I walked back to my family in line to buy tickets. My mistake here is that I didn't place the ticket back on the ground where I found it. Well, maybe the mistake was trying to help the woman with the missing ticket in the first place. We met for the second time when your voice behind me caused me to turn, as you ripped the ticket from my hand. I didn't quite catch what you said, so I won't try and quote you incorrectly. Your actions were clear though, since you stormed over to the trash can and threw away the ticket you snatched from me. I exclaimed that we weren't even going to see Annabelle, the movie on the ticket stub, and that we were there to see Yesterday, a light hearted romantic comedy. We promptly left after being deeply offended by you. We instead patroned Regal Cinemas in the Mashpee Commons and even enjoyed the experience of purchasing our tickets and concessions. I don't understand any of these poor reviews. I've been here 5 times in the last 3 years since I moved to the Cape. Every visit was EXCELLENT. Price was much less than other theaters for both admission and food. Sound and audio quality was very good. Theaters were very clean. Lobby and rest rooms as well. Attendants behind the counter were friendly And helpful. This is my favorite theater around. The bad reviews most certainly do not reflect the current state if this wonderful local independent gem. read more

Bought tickets for "Green Book" this afternoon. Theater was fairly full. 20 minutes after start time, ads were still on repeat loop. I and others went to get information. 25 minutes after start time, an employee finally came into theater & announced that manager was attempting to fix a problem with projector. 5-10 minutes later, it was announced that problem was "unfixable" & film was cancelled. We all stood in an extremely long line to get a refund (one person doing this). No refund on the vat of popcorn I'd bought & no longer wanted. On my way out, I went to restroom. No toilet paper (of course...). read more

Skip this dump. I just saw "Solo," but the picture was too dark throughout the film - - most of it was in shadows. I complained to the manager, Will, twice, and one more time as I left. He told me I was simply wrong and refused to resolve the situation. There are many other theaters that have quality technology. Sort of a rundown theater. And not in the kitsch-y, family run theater kind of way. The hallway to get to the screens is so bare, I mean put up some movie posters for god's sake. The screens are not that large and the concession situation would be fine but they don't do refills on drinks (after they've charged you over $5 for a soda) and they only allow one refill on your popcorn. Have you ever heard of such a thing? So if you happen to go up for a 3rd refill, yes that happens when you share popcorn with people and it's a long movie, they will reject you. Give me a break. Two pros: seats are comfortable and the place is never that busy. read more

Small, but very nice place. When heading to your movie make sure to look to your left and right as you enter the hallway as the number for each theatre is not on the wall on the outside, but near the entrance door. Seats are comfortable and enough space for your legs. read more

I really enjoy Heritage theater Its hardly ever crowded and its really clean. The staff here is super friendly and always ask what you thought of the movie when you come out. I know they have some deal with the place Tomatoes near by with dinner and movie for 20/person on Mondays and Tuesdays. read more

Whenever I want to see a movie, I always come here. My two complaints are that they charge you for 3-D movies. I wish there was a choice. My second complaint is that this place is HARDLY ever cleaned. Right when I walk in, I see popcorn all over the floor and soda stains in the carpet. Cons: Seats are cramped. Poorly insulated as you can hear the theater next to you. When a loud movie is playing, that is very disruptive to the experience. Pros: Relatively clean. Good quality projector/screen. read more

First impression of this theater was that it looked nice, small and cozy (aside from the stained carpets, but not very judgmental about that because we all know kids runaround with food/drinks here). Not much selections for movies here so I would recommend researching movies/ratings at first before buying tickets--trust me if you don't research, you will be waisting your money. You would think that a small company would try and keep their customers by accommodating customers to keep their business running and keeping "loyal" customers, but no... Management sucks here, refund/exchange policies don't exist, so customer always looses. I didn't want my money back, all i wanted was an exchange but it didn't happen. I would recommend driving out of your way to another theater where you have more selections and friendlier employees. I'm not one to give start an argument either, so there was no reason for someone like me to experience what i went through. I placed a dispute with my bank against Heritage Theater and got all my money back. No bueno, better luck next time. Oh wait, there will NOT be a next time. read more

What's wrong with their sound system?! The volume was so excruciatingly loud, I had to use my hands to shield my ears from the sound coming from the speakers. From reading the other reviews, it appears I'm not the only one to experience this. It really cut into my enjoyment of the movie. Otherwise, the theater is kept fairly clean and staff is friendly. Concessions appear over-priced, but that seems to be the norm at all theaters. Stay away if you want to protect your hearing. read more

Terrible handicapped seating and the speakers are painfully loud. The handicapped seats are so close to the screen that you get dizzy and your neck hurts from having to look straight up. Poorly designed movie theater. I would not recommend for someone in a wheelchair. Also, the speakers are way too loud! read more

Went to go see "The Grinch" in theaters tonight with my cousin, the movie was set to start at 6:45, there was only two other girls in the movies with us so it was nice and quiet. Unfortunately we never got to see the movie because they forgot about us ! We sat there for 45 minutes with the same repeating credits playing so finally i decided to go ask them why it was taking so long for the movie to start and the girl said "i wish you came out sooner so we could've done something" ...??? I'm sorry how do you forget that people bought tickets to see a movie that was supposed to on .... Anyways the manger or owner(can't tell) comes into the theater after i walked back expecting to still be able to watch a movie and tells us there was a "miscommunication" and he can't play the movie anymore because it will run into the later showing and he can't let that happen. He was Very unprofessional and rude. Glad i got my refund back. Will never come back to this theater, i will stick to my normal go to movie place Waste of my time !!! read more

Nnnh. Not great. We walked into a completely empty theater for our show and sat down. Four teenage kids came in and sat down in the four seats directly behind us, out of the whole empty theater. We moved to the next to the back row. Minutes after the show actually started, eight teenage boys rushed in and sat in the very back row directly behind us. Actually they were pretty well mannered so it wasn't a big deal. The sound was good, but the screen was small, and the upholstered seats were dirty. read more

I went to Heritage Theaters last night and the theater was dirty. My cup holder had an old candy bar wrapper. But the worst was when I was going to get out of my seat to leave, I discovered I sat in someone else's gum!! Disgusting!!! It's an odd theater, it reminded me of a gazebo or golf course. I saw Ides of March, that's how long ago it was.

I just left this theater after sitting through 5 minutes of Lincoln. The sound was completely broken and clearly had been for a while. After complaining, nothing was done by the management and the owner himself was extremely rude to my wife when she complained. The staff was nice enough and refunded our ticket, but the owner was a total douche. I will never be back. read more

Just walked out of a movie here, for the second time, because of the horrible sound. The dialogue was muffled and echoed, while the background noise was way too loud. The theaters are always musty smelling, and, frankly, dirty. We got our money back, and I told them I was done with Heritage Theater. Interestingly, another couple was leaving from another movie and asking for their money back, too. I've never been thrilled with this place, and it's gotten increasingly bad. I'll make the drive to Hyannis from now on. It's too bad, a neighborhood movie theatre should be a fun destination, and not a hot mess!! read more

Great atmosphere, theaters are on the small side, but the fact that it stays open year round unlike many other businesses on the cape makes up for that entirely. Contrary to what many reviews say, the staff are polite and courteous. They always have the newest movies, and often have advance screenings. Overall great experience. read more

Great theater. My husband and I never went to the movies, but since we found The Heritage Sandwich Theater we go every Fri night. The staff is really friendly, theater and bathrooms are clean. It is the only theater that makes it's own popcorn. It's the best !!!!! All the other threaters have plastic tasting popcorn that comes pre made in large bags.....aweful!! Want a nice night out? the kids that work there are super friendly and attentive. The manager Joe is such a rude human being I would rather drive to Kingston than give him business. Occasionally I have to go there for kids movies and I do find the theater to be clean and the popcorn to be delicious. I just wish that horrible man wasn't the face that greeted my family. He is rude to his staff, he is rude to the local teens that are trying to have a nice time out with their friends, and he never looks happy.
