I do quite a bit of work on my own vehicles. I started to take my vehicles to Falsones when it was beyond my expertise or tools . I now take my vehicles WITHOUT HESITATION to Mike and his Michael even if I could have done the work myself because they approach the job as if it were there own vehicle each and every time. Came to Houston for a road trip from Buffalo. During our drive exploring the city, my car started having issues right before our 1500 mile trip back. Both mechanics couldn't figure out what was wrong, even after keeping my truck all day and over night. Falsone's is a BLESSING. I've been living in HTX/MO City for almost 2 years and have been on the hunt for a mechanic. I usually go to Firestone, but I dont like the service that I receive at ANY of the locations I've been to, and they try and sell you everything for your car accept tag, title and tax. Falsone is open Monday-Friday from 7:30-6pm, when people like me are at work, but I was able to maneuver my way over here early Thursday morning. They do give you the option to leave your car, and they'll call you when it's ready. Michael, the owner was very kind and pleasant. He's a tiny, older guy, with a big passion for all things automotive. He told me that they were pretty booked up for the day, but he still took the time to look at my brakes/rotors AND take it for a spin around the block. When he came back he told me that I def need new breaks/rotors. I told him that I could come back next week Thursday as early as possible to fix it. I even tried to make an appointment. He said "ma'am dont worry about it, I'll squeeze you in right now". God send!!! Having bad brakes is not an option when leaving in Houston. But I can officially say, Houston, we have a problem.... Since a co-worker recommended Falsone's shop (about 4 years ago), my whole family brings their cars here for reliable service. Mike (Falsone) has always been upfront with us on repairs. If it needs fixing, he'll let you know and if it doesn't need fixing, he'll let you know that too. This is a small shop so be forewarned that the parking lot is small and so is the waiting area. It may take some maneuvering to get in and park but I doubt you'll be disappointed. Always call ahead to find out what the shop hours are as they tend to differ in the summer and winter. read more
