Okay, so a buddy and I finally made it by Family Armory today; not the greatest first impression, but everybody does have an off day now and again. The first thing that struck me as odd, is that they have no firearms in the glass cases for sale. "All of our sales are online, or we can sell you a rental at a discounted rate", was the response I received when I inquired, my buddy just stared at me. So, now let's get to why I finished the intro to this the way I did. The young lady to the right where the .22lr ammo is kept, was very sweet and friendly, obviously younger, quite cute, she was a pleasure to deal with. The other lady, the extremely thin one with a pony-tail, she was the buzz-kill; not sure if it was the two of us, or if she speaks to everyone like they are completely stupid. My buddy and I took turns asking questions, and she would literally speak So far down her nose to us she nearly fell over forwards. Now I didn't feel the need to express the fact that I am college educated, prior service, and have hunted all of the "Western 11" states, and my buddy is a well adapted, educated, experienced shooter. Every time she would give an answer, it was condescending, and pushed the outer boundaries of being just plain rude. I am not paying someone to be rude to me, you want my money, provide good customer service. One thing for certain, We won't be back, Id rather drive out of town, or go pay higher rates elsewhere. (Don't even get me started on the fact that they had a guy on the range with a mid-powered rifle, rapid firing on a pistol range, sparks everywhere). read more

My friend and I were members there in good standing for 3 1/2 years. In March we made our weekly trip there and to our dismay, there was a sign of the door that announced they were PERMANENTLY CLOSED. If you see these people please tell them they owe a whole lot of money to a whole lot of people who, in good standing, paid yearly memberships and want compensation for the months we will never use due to the fact the owners packed up and left in the middle of the night. read more

I have been coming to this range for almost a year and have made close to 20 trips. The staff is friendly and very professional which is unfortunately not the norm with indoor ranges in my experience. The range is well maintained, clean, well lit and extremely well ventilated which is also not the norm. The range fee is a steal, especially if you want to shoot for more than an hour. The range fee is also 1 fee for the entire day and is not by the hour. You could shoot and then go have lunch, come back and if there is a lane available get right back on without having to pay for another lane. Ammunition and targets are also priced well for an indoor range. The shop is well stocked with items that most people are looking for. They have a really nice selection of gun cleaning materials and common tools needed for building an AR or changing sights on a pistol etc. they also have a lot of magazines, factory and aftermarket for just about anything. They even usually have some bleeder kits on hand which is awesome to see. I have not had the need to do any training but I do know they offer TX LTC and I believe they even do pistol classes but I'm not completely sure. This range is has been a good time every time I show up, and I would recommend them to anyone in the area. read more

What a joke. I was expecting a lot more. LOL. Be very cautious buying a weapon from this fly by night operation. seems they rent them out and after they have had a few thousand rounds run through the weapon they box them back up and try to pass them off for new. and the owner what a clown. save yourself the money and go to a good range. read more

This place is just awesome, spotless and well taken care of. Plenty of knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand to help you out. Great prices on their handguns whether you bring your own or rent theirs, also a wide assortment of gear for all your shooting needs. Definitely my go to place for fun. read more

This place is an amazing place! Super friendly, super knowledgeable, super helpful. Also, you only pay 20$ for the entire day. If you go in the morning and decide to got back in the evening, you're still good. The only downside is the pricing for their guns. They cost a bit more than you would get other places. Then again, for them to sell cheap targets, 20$ range days, cheap ammo...I wouldn't be too hard on them. Their still a great place and haven't had a problem ever going there. read more

We buy all our ammo here, the staff is crazy knowledgeable and they always have what we need in stock. They have a great indoor range, and you can 'rent' different guns to shoot, to get a feel for the one you like. There is always someone available to help. It's a family run business, and the pride shows in their awesome customer service. read more

Only real complaint is that they don't allow children under 12, they claim for insurance costs. The staff was mostly friendly besides the she male that tried arguing with me over insurance costs. Probably a great place unless you have a family, kids aren't welcome read more

This facility is fairly new. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They have a great selection of pistols, ammo, and pretty much anything else you would need. The shooting lanes are nice also. I have been here twice now and have had a good experience both times. read more

First and foremost, the staff is EXCEPTIONAL! We are new gun owners and they walked us through the pros and cons of several manufactures, sizes, and types. They also clearly take safety very seriously, which just adds a level of comfort to the whole experience. Their prices for time at the range are reasonable and their actual firearm prices seem right about average the area. We fully expect to become regulars here. read more

Went in to shoot, wanted an extra magazine for my pistol. Ask the young man for help, he helped me find a 10 round clip. I went into range, loaded clip and it would not work with my gun. I went out and told the young , he then proceeded to tell me since I put bullets in it it was not returnable. I told him I thought was chickens!t, and that I would not be back.... went into the range collected my guns, went out to pay. He then proceeded to try to make it right.... BS true colors came out first time I talked to him.... we will never be back or recommend this place to anyone read more

Customer service is immaculate. We went for a fun different date nite and it was an absolute "blast". I have not shot very much and no one treated me any different. Love it!! Will be back!!!! read more
