Tried this local cleaners for the first time. I only brought in a sweater to try it out. A lady checked in me in and she didn't appear to be too friendly. Very serious face. I requested it to be folded not hanged so it won't make a mark in the shoulders and she wrote it in my ticket. It wouldn't be ready for 3 days and I was not in a hurry. The price was a bit higher than I expected for a sweater compared to the other places in the area I've used. Upon pick-up a very nice gentleman helped me. He was very friendly and he retrieved my sweater and asked what color it was. I saw that it was hanged and he proceeded to fold it and wrapped it plastic. We even had some small talk and he was super nice. I would come back to this place again because it's very close and convenient plus the gentleman made my pick-up visit much more pleasant compared to the drop off. Hence the 4 star. read more

It was alright not worth it overall. I dropped off nine items they told me to come back in a week. I did and half of them had not been started and cleaned yet. I must've come back seven different times. Also for the amount they charge, I expect it come back in GREAT condition considering we call all do these things ourselves at home but don't have the time and put our trust into the company to care for it. All final pick ups still needed to be attended and the job finished by me at home. Even after almost two weeks of waiting, asking them to clean things again and again multiple times, items not returning in a great condition they only took one item off of the bill. The lady is rude, the man's customer service skills tries to make up for it but overall I'm going to say no to trying out this company. read more

I recently relocated to Vallejo & needed a cleaners. Family cleaners was close to my home. I dropped off 5 shirts & 4 sweaters on a Wed morning for a Monday morning pick-up. Monday morning nothing was ready & I was asked to come back in and hour. Two hours later I return & only the sweaters are ready. As they prep my shirts I notice stains on each shirt and a machine dimple in the exact spot on the center of each shirt. The owner (gentleman) was apologetic and asked me to return the next day (Tuesday). I leave with the sweaters & return Thursday afternoon. One shirt (most expensive as it was custom taylored) had serious stains and wasnt even pressed yet. I review each shirt, which all have the same stains and then some. Shirst were basically ruined. To be fair the owner issued a credit of $300 (not replacement cost since they were not brand new and lightly used). Very upsetting as a first time customer experience after having introduced myself as a first time customer seeking a cleaners in Vallejo. It's obvious they have a customer following but I can't help to think how many other garments they ruin and customers don't realize or do not stand up to express their dissatisfaction. Best feedback is taking my business elsewhere. Customer beware. Check your articles for quality of cleaning. read more

I paid for my jerseys to be cleaned , I needed them for an even . I show up to pick up a week after the owner told me they would be ready so I just knew I was picking up my jerseys especially because I PAID for them when I dropped them off . The lady working couldn't find them when I got there , secondly she told me I never paid and there wasn't proof if I had my receipt or not . So I'm leaving today with out my belongings . Dropped off a dress to be dry cleaned on a Monday, they said it would be ready on Thursday. This costs $9 and some more cents. Dress was clean, no complaints, but I'd say that's a little expensive. Especially since the dress was a simple, short dress. I'm sure it could have been done sooner if you wanted to pay a little extra, but didn't ask for the difference in cost to expedite, because I wasn't really in a hurry. No matter how busy they are he always find a way to accommodate my fiancé and I to make sure we are taken care of. Dirty and damaged suit took over two weeks. I took my linen suit here to be cleaned and pressed. It was pressed and my stain was perfectly intact. The proprietor asked for the weekend to clean it for real. I gave them an extra day. When I arrived my suit was on the floor and hadn't been cleaned. Three days later, I picked it up. It was clean, but tags had been stapled on. I ended up pulling a string out removing the staples. Short of losing my garment, this dry cleaning experience couldn't be worse. read more

The work is good and prices are decent. But if you are an early riser and want to come in at opening...think again. 2 days in a row they aren't open on time. My hubby waited 2 hours yesterday and still not open. Unfortunately, my hubby needs the cleaning for work, so he waited as long as he could. Family cleaners proprietor is very friendly. A bit overly friendly because in being chatted up I failed to pay good attention to his arithmetic and when he finally gave me my ticket it was 40 dollars. Now granted I did have quite a few long sleeve bottom up shirts but at 1.80 a shirt there was no way it could be 40.00. So I looked over the ticket and he was charging me 12.95 for something like a Pendleton but not as thick and not that material. More like a jean jacket. I asked why he charged me that outrageous amount and he said because I requested he sew a little rip on the arm. Yea ok whatever. I'm a busy person and I drop about a dozen shirts off every 2 weeks or so I guessed it would be ok. Well I came to pick up my dry cleaning and he wasn't ready. Said he felt bad and could have it ready the next day. I gave him an additional because I see he does a busy business. Well pre paid for that ticket so I could just grab it and go. Got my clothes home and discovered he never did any sewing. He just ironed right over the rip. I was pissed. I don't have time to bring my stuff back for the same thing that he failed to do. I thought I found the perfect dry cleaners. His work is competitive , he's very friendly and the price he charges for shirts is decent. What I can't get around is how he can charge 12.95 for a jean jacket. I don't know if it was an honest mistake. Or he just makes up for the shirt prices by going through the roof on everything else. I would recommend this cleaners as long as you pay attention to what he's charging you for and if in doubt question him. read more

This place is absolutely horrible! They ruined multiple shirts and even lost my carpet! Charles then called a month later to say he found it and when I picked it up, it was completely destroyed, the "cleaning" of my carpet resulted in huge areas mauled and irreparably damaged. I was so disappointed because it came as a set and is been discontinued so I'll never be able to replace it, but I was at least offered a $10 credit for a $200 set. Dropped off my coat for cleaning and was told that it would be ready the next day, but I didn't need it right away so I went back 3 days later...hadn't even gotten to it yet. The lady tells me to come back in an hour, so I go do some errands and come back. Still not ready yet so I hang around awhile until it's done. When I got it, It was COVERED in cat hair and smelled terrible. Funny thing is, it didn't smell when I took it in! They didn't apologize for the lateness and charged me way too much for a terrible job done! Wouldn't go back there if it was the last place in town. read more

They ruined my dress (they lost other items in the past), would not let me see the damaged dress, told me to shop for cheaper dress online (What the hell) and demanded a receipt. Gave her a receipt and then she avoided phone calls and phone messages. So my husband went in and made her write a check. Was all this worth losing someones business and forcing me to put my anger on yelp and fb and tell everyone I know. That's not the kind of person I am, but I've had it. One thing you notice about cleaners is when your clothes are not done properly and not done on time. I have been going here bi-weekly for a year and never had a issue except trying to get out of the place since the owner is so freindly and chatting.
