I think I've found a new go-to dry cleaners. After having mixed results at other local establishments, I took a shot with Green and have been more than satisfied. The owner Anthony is really cool and aims to earn satisfied customers. Their prices are really competitive too. I had 3 new men's sport coats altered here with expert result. Other similar places are skilled in the deceptive art of upselling or upcharging once they get you in the door, but not so here at Green. This is especially appreciated. The rest of the staff are all really cool too. Looks to be a busy shop with many other satisfied customers. It's conveniently located in the Rose Shopping Center in Benicia. Where the tax bite is a little less than bordering Vallejo, so your saving a bit there too, especially if you become a regular customer. Starbucks, McDonalds, a Mexican & pizza place are all steps away if you're looking for a pick-me up after dropping off your laundry. Helpful hint: If visiting the business in the earlier-to-mid morning hours, it's best not to park directly in front of the entrance door spaces. Because the Starbuck's drive-thru line backs up and will block your exit path. You might be there several minutes trying to get out. And the motorists fiending for their caffeine fix may not necessarily be compelled to let you out. Not a knock on the business, just more word for the wise. read more

I got 5 jeans tailored here and their seamstress has gotten them right everytime. All i do is pin them at my house and she handles the rest. I took 5 pairs of jeans to be hemmed and it took longer than promised and when I got home, the pants were all an inch shorter than what we agreed on. On top of it all the threads used did NOT match the existing thread color witch was obvious. Never again. read more

Great service on getting two suits dry cleaned for my wedding on Thursday. They were very accommodating in helping get it done in 2 days. After completing another errand next door I stopped in to see if the suits were ready a little early. They weren't but they told me give them 10mins to wrap it up and they were able to give them to me saving me an extra trip later. I can't begin to express my appreciation! In all of my Christmas revelry, I splashed red wine on an irreplaceable white Tommy Bahama shirt. I took it to my regular cleaners and it was still stained. At the recommendation of a friend I had nothing to lose, I brought it to Green Cleaners. The next day I got it back CLEAN! Nothing against the old owners, but here should really be a way fore Yelp to restart the ratings for the establisment now that it's under new management. Anyway, that new management is doing a great job. Friendly, efficient, and they text you when your dry cleaning is ready. I've never actually given a Yelp review, but these guys deserve a HUGE shoutout!! They've saved me not once, but twice now on dry cleaning needed for last minute travel! You won't hear anything other than solutions from these guys and the clothes always come back immaculate!! I can usually find a button that got scratched or something, but never with these guys. Not only that, the price is the same you're gonna pay anywhere else. Hands down the best dry cleaner/laundry service in the area--and honesty one of the best businesses in general that I've stumbled across in CA when it comes to finding a solution for the customer--you can tell they genuinely care, which is a breath of fresh air! Green Cleaners was truly an "Angel sent from above" ! They were able to get me in same day amidst panicking about me and my husband's wedding outfits altered and pressed. Without asking they made sure we looked good with their added in touches out of the kindness of their hearts m! We received compliments all night! Thank you to Green Cleaners they had me in by 10 and ready to pick up by 12:22! They did hand steam my dress to try to get any of the wrinkles out that they could even though we didn't talk about pressing it. Because of the beads or sequins it wouldn't have been good to fully press it but they took out everything they could with the steam. Run don't walk! A few months ago I brought in a thin 15 inch panel curtain to be hemmed and the price was 25 dollars which I thought was just okay with the cleaning but I misplaced my receipt and when I came back to pick it up that man said the price was $100 dollars!!! What a overcharged!!! I could buy 3 sets of new curtains for that price! It was just a simple hem!!! I would have never agreed to letting them clean and hem the curtains for that price and I remembered the price on the receipt! So there's the integrity issue and his response was to lower the price 7 bucks after I became upset. Seriously!!
