I know for a fact that I saw a few Flux Capacitors sitting on the shelf. They have literally everything you can imagine here! It's seriously fun just to wander about looking at all the cool stuff! They have an entire shelf filled with middle school microscopes! Diodes and doo dads! Used (and some new) military clothing, camping supplies, cots and an endless array of canvas goodies! From dummy grenades to manikin heads, it's here! Then, oh my goodness, wander out back in the "yard" and your jaw will drop five inches! I could have sworn I saw components of the Philadelphia Experiment out there! A sea of metal cabinets, lockers and safes! ATTENTION aspiring restaurateurs: They have a whole mess of used kitchen equipment! Stainless Steel Sinks in various sizes, large ovens and everything in between. When I went in I got to wander around without being bugged by the staff. When I did have questions they were more than willing to help. I found newly made Mexico furniture that was just outstanding. I bought two pieces that would have cost hundreds more elsewhere. When I told the owner I was looking for a Southwest table he said "just text me the pictures of what you want & I will send it to my Vendor in Mexico. He can make it to order at a much better price than anywhere else in NM" When I went there to load my heavy pieces the owners family member came out to help me. Totally not required by them, just great people. Some prices were high, but there are many things there consignment so owner has no control over them. This is a must stop.

Thrift stores, much as they can unveil diamonds in the rough, are indeed labor-intensive and exhaustive. Good flea markets refuse to allow worn and torn merchandise to sit on any shelf. The Family Indoor Flea Market offers booth after booth of delightful finds, and yeah, a lot of this stuff might be sitting in your grandparent's cabin in the mountains, but there's plenty of retro goodness tucked alongside at prices that compare or often beat what you'll find at your local Goodwill. I didn't buy anything here, but I spent about a half hour admiring the goods and I can think of four or five items I'm itching to pull my consumer trigger finger on. Albuquerque is awash in flea markets, which makes a ton of sense because, hey, this entire state is about two decades behind the times and so there's plenty of Rubik's Cubes to go around. There's a ton to find, here: furniture (not couches, but tables and chairs galore), decorations, lamps, comics and kids items, you name it. And again, I was often astonished at the cost. Here's a nudge: some of these vendors are seriously desperate for a sale. Cheap, you hear me? And I can dig that. I'm cheap. Sounds good to me.

This location had a lot of to offer. I was glad to see the Halloween items already on display. A lot of people including myself don't realize the selection these guys offer for Halloween decorations. Yeah Walmart and other retail stores offer better quality items but at a steep mark up. If your on a budget you can save some cash getting some neat decorations at the dollar store some of which will last awhile to use the following years. The dollar store is definitely an underrated place. They offer a wild range of practical items that sometimes are cheaper to get than Walmart. It's convenient especially when in a pinch. If you hunt, you can find some decent stuff for a steal!…read more Today I went in because I really wanted some Fall scented candles for the house without paying an extra kidney and was struck by how cute some of the Halloween decorations were. When I got closer, I was surprised to find the quality was just as good as the Spirit store next door but for just $1 each. After I grabbed some decorations for the house, I headed to the candle aisle. I grabbed two candles: pumpkin pie and pecan praline. They were just about 8-10 oz each but still a great deal for $1 each! I approached the first register where the register light was on and there was a cashier at the register. She quickly shut off her light, told me she was closed, and walked off. I then walked over to the only other open register where a red headed gentleman was finishing checking out another customer. Once he was done, he told me he would be back. I then watched as he frisked an employee going on break and then came back to check me out. It was very awkward. I might check out another location next time.

I was strolling around and low and behold... what do you think the NM Donut Kween found!!! You guessed it! Doughnutty socks!!!! Sad thing is they were children sizes but I thought what the heck I'm going to buy them anyway!! I asked the cashier if she had anything else related to Donuts in her shop. She said I don't think so. While i was a little bummed it didnt matter because I was extremely happy with a pair of socks I found! While I was browsing she actually told me she found another pair! Now as you can only imagine I was so so super excited I went a little bit doughnutty!!! Kinda like coco for cocoa puffs! Hahaha!!! I was so super excited I couldn't contain my joy! I proceeded to tell her how I was the Donut Kween on Yelp and that I love everything to do with donuts!!! It was so awesome because she shared a personal story with me about her father-in-law and his donut cologne that he bought way back in the day from Dunkin Donuts apparently they did some sort of advertisement probably 30 years ago!
