The most unorganized store I have ever been to. The employees are rude. No sense of customer service skills.

"I'd gladly lose me to find you I'd gladly give up what I…read moregot To catch you, I'm gonna run and never stop I call that a bargain The best I ever had" (The Who) Man, oh man, do we love the bargains at Ollie's. This was our first visit to Newington's Ollie's, and we scored a fantastic deal. I am the Committee Chair for a convention next month, and one of the participation activities for the conventioneers will be assembling kits to donate to a Boston charity for children in need. We are set on the school supply side, but we are still a little short on the socks and underwear side for 50 boys and girls. So, when I saw a "15% off" email from Ollie's, it seemed like a divine sign to make a pilgrimage to the new Ollie's in Newington. And guess what we found? How about 5-packs of boy's underwear marked down to $2.99? BEFORE our 15% discount. Thank you, Lord Ollie. Ollie's was stocked to the gills and very neatly shelved. We bought this eclectic mix of goods: a big bag of Dot's pretzels, five boxes of K Cup coffees, a bottle of shampoo, a jar of pickled zucchini, a jar of salsa, and 20 of the aforementioned underwear 5-packs for just a shocking $88. Ollie's is a fun store to browse around in, and today we made out like bandits.

We were on a time crunch, so I will definitely be back to check it out, thoroughly. They had a great selection, and I was impressed with the children's section. We also found a great selection of old school candies, and brands I haven't heard of since the 70s, lol!

Triple check sizing on clothes as hangers don't always match and once you buy the clothes you can't return them. Kids selection of clothing is not large but there are plenty of toys.

I love this store! I almost love it so much that I don't even want to tell everyone about it,…read morebecause that will deplete the inventory even faster. I've read the reviews and understand all of them, because while I love this store and have a microwave, humidifier, dehumidifier and comforter from here and have bought tons of food from here, I do not go here for clothing because of some of the reasons other people have stated. Finding the right fit for a woman is difficult, so I will not buy things that I cannot try on when they also can't be returned, unless it's something you can try on (shoes/slippers/coats) or like a pajama top (which doesn't have to be perfect) that I did buy and actually loved so much I went back until they had another one available. Value for most things, 5 stars. The food and clothing start at the highest price on Saturday and go down every day until Friday when there's not much left. So some things are not a great deal on Saturday but if you're willing to risk it and go back in two or three days, then the price is cheaper and it's a great value, although some things are still a great value even on Saturday (think protein chips/drinks/bars and coffee)!!!! The line at 10am on a Saturday will let you know how serious some of the regulars are about getting the best quality stuff right after a shipment comes in! Ohh wait, there's more! Enter your phone # at checkout and after you spend so much (maybe $150 but that's a guesstimate) you get $10 off a purchase!!! It can't get any better!

Bristol Bazaar is a collection of vendors selling their handmade merchandise at the same place. They are open all year, six days a week. With the holiday season in full force, you will find ornaments and tree toppers galore. They have screen printed and embroidered t-shirts and hoodies. There are toys, keychains, jewelry, plants and more. The best part about shopping or browsing at Bristol Bazaar is the checkout process. There's no need to make an individual purchase at each vendor, instead you can collect all of the goodies in your shopping basket, then cash out at the register. This helps keep things moving, and less people standing around. The items are marked with barcodes, so the makers receive their portion of the sale. Terrible. For the first time I went to that store the other day and regretted it. Beware of that…read moremiddle aged guy, the store manager or whatsoever. First the guy was nice and helpful, they didn't have the model of pants I was looking for and he gave me two similar models. I tried them on but didn't like the look of them on me and returned them to him. He said ' where are the third pair of pants? ' I responded that he gave me two pairs, and that I tried tried them on and didn't like them and then gave them back. There was another pair I only looked at and not tried on, but I folded and put them back on the stacks while he was standing by me. And I reminded him that I didn't even try them on and he saw me put them back. He repeated, "Give me the third pair back." I calmly repeated that I tried only two pairs on and I just handed them over to him and as for the other pair,I didn't even bother to try on. He said," give me the third pair back or I'll call the police" . I thought maybe he is a special need person and can't get things easily and I showed him my bag that there were no pants in it and I even took off my coat to show that there was no third pair whatsoever. He still insists , give me the third pair or I'll call the police. At that point, I said, "Now I do want you to call the police, what you're doing is unacceptable and you can't treat me , your customers like this." And he started to back off. I looked in my bag for my cell phone and it wasn't there, probably left in my car. I asked the other two customers in the store to please call the police for me but they didn't want to get involved. The younger shop attendant preferred to stay out of it, too. And I said to that pain guy ," I can't find my cellphone, it was in my bag, did you take it? Give my cell phone back". He said, he didn't have my cell phone. I said, give it back or I'll call the police, just like the way he talked to me. He backed off and disappeared in the store while I was asking the others to please call the police. And I left the store in total frustration. So, NEVER AGAIN. if you, no matter what want to buy cheap jeans and go to Irving's, BEWARE OF THAT STORE MANAGER.
