Ooooo ahhh ooooo!! I always break for Nordstrom Rack!…read moreI stumbled across this location while looking for another store at the same shopping center. When I saw the store front of this place from a distance, I wanted to jump the curb, drive through the cars and park inside the store. I didn't because I know this behavior is shunned upon, but I sure wanted to! This location has a great variety of items including cosmetics, beauty items, accessories, clothing, shoes and more. I must admit the lines are long but that's also due to Covid restrictions so I won't complain. It's well worth the wait for the variety and quality of items found. I got a pair of shoes that were originally $150 for 70 bucks! I actually looked them up online because I wasn't familiar with the brand and boom, $150 online! They're so comfy (see pictured). I also appreciate that the price sticker comes off smoothly. In the past I've needed hired staff to get the sticky stuff off from the tape!! Lol I also appreciate their line of Philosophy Beauty/ Bath items. I am definitely a Nordstrom Rack Snob and I can't wait to return back! This location is now in my Top 2!

I will NEVER shop here again with these extremely high prices and rewards points being little to none, I spent 75$ and was awarded 2$ in points. never again will I spend my money on this place.

I will update this review when those are available. There have also been renovations elsewhere in the building so this will cover those. SHOPPING NEXpress - The only NEX on the Yard that non-military can shop in. The Starbucks that had been here is now gone. There is hot coffee, but no frills. The shop has plenty of food options, drinks and some shirts/items for purchase that say Navy. As it is an NEX, it is tax-free! This is the place I probably visit the most in the building. Temptations - The Navy Officer's Wives Club runs this cute little gift shop when you enter the Town Center. Not much is really Navy/Marine Corps focused but usually some cute seasonal crafts, beautiful scarves and bags. You can occasionally get a good sale. SERVICES MWR Services - Military, Military Dependents and DoD Civilians can use the MWR to order tickets for a number of attractions, events and shows. They do a great job at getting you a good price on most everything worth seeing or doing. It is always worth asking about things even if you are unsure you qualify, they will help you out. NEX Barber Shop - I haven't used the barber shop on base, as I am a girl, but they always have a number of uniformed military, non-uniformed military and civilians in the shop. They have some rules about front of the line service for uniformed military during certain hours, but I never really paid close attention. They seem to do a good job. Gym - The gym is great. They regularly have classes that they change monthly (both type and times). There is no fee to use the gym for military and DoD civilians, but there is a charge for Contractors. If you want to take classes (such as cycling, yoga, or zumba), DoD Civilians and Contractors are required to pay, but it is only a few dollars for the class or you can buy a discount card. The facilities are well maintained. The gym was updated in late 2013/2014. New machines and everything is nicer. Clean towels. And the instructors will push you as hard as you are willing to push yourself.

This TJ Maxx is officially my favorite in the DC metro area - I've been here a few times already,…read moreand I've never left empty-handed! It's located in the Ritchie Station Marketplace and is a newer store. The place is definitely bright, clean, and super organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The clothing is comparable to other TJ Maxx locations, and there really isn't much of a variety in terms of brands and unique finds - I did find a Missoni sweater and a pair of Kate Spade flats, but it's pretty slim pickings! Their beauty section, however, is pretty awesome! While they didn't have any of my favorite shampoo on sale, I did find some great Shiseido products (cleansers and moisturizers) that were about 70% off - I was shocked, as these items are still being carried and being sold at Nordstrom's and other department stores! They also have a large extensive selection of Korean facial products (masks, deep pore cleansers, etc.) that are highly-rated and priced well. I loved that the place isn't as crowded and that there are much parking spaces available in the shared plaza lot. Check-out is fairly quick and efficient, and I can't wait to return to browse and see what else is on sale! +great beauty products and selections +friendly staff +located in the Ritchie Station Marketplace +plenty of parking available in shared plaza lot

Whenever I'm in the Ritchie Plaza area I stop in at TJ's too see what deals I can snag. The men's section usually doesn't disappoint; I can find some good shirts or athletic wear for the low-low. I also really enjoy the home good section; during this time of year there were plenty of fall and Halloween items to grab. The store is clean, the line at the front moves quickly, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
