There's all sorts of gluten free snacks and dry ingredients, that cost significantly more at other retailers. There's a whole section of honey, and it's a pretty nice variety, with a good amount of it being local. They have several kinds of olive oil, plenty of teas and endless other kitchen staples. They also have clothes and shoes. It's great browsing through this store, and finding something new or something you love at a great deal. They always have security at the door who don't allow any large bags inside. There is no restroom in the store. They should really look into providing customers with a restroom, so they don't have to leave to look for one elsewhere. Deals & Steals is a great place to stock up on organic snacks, cereals, almond flower, and more.

This store is a real trip - you will find one helluva totally random section of cheap crap everywhere. They have a wall full of "Slightly Out of Date" over the counter cold remedies and pain killers, cheap greeting cards, cheap Tee Shirts, cheap baseball caps, cheap school supplies, cheap socks and candy and sunglasses, and more varieties of masking tape than I ever knew existed. We picked up a long sleeve T shirt and some packing tape for a fraction of what we would have paid anywhere else. LOL- totally random stuff indeed !

I went to another store and then back to my car- which is when I noticed it was 5:55. The point being the associate at 25 Central rushed me out when I could have had time to find my size and make a purchase well before 6pm when they closed that day. I ended up driving to Hadley and buying a shirt at a big chain store- which is what I was trying to avoid! Maybe this is me getting old and grumpy, but I'm frustrated by how places like this don't serve the average working person. Most people work until 5:30, which gives very little time to get in and out of a store. On top of that, I actually did have time to shop and leave before closing, but was pressured to leave. Although some items were more costly than what I was willing to pay, I loved the simple design of certain tank tops and long sleeves to the intricate dressed and crop tops. Fun accessories included hair clips, tights, scarfs, jewelry and more. Let me give you a nice laundry list of my purchase of a tidy litany of needs, all for under a hundred dollars: Relevant literature/books for me, my new favorite clutch purse bag, snow gloves, two phone holders for vehicles, fine clothing for me and my family, household staples like notepads or three ring binder punches, and for sure my list could go on. Let's stop saying that the money you pay for these is too much or too little and instead look to what your purchase does: it funds the Fisher Hospice Home. This isn't your typical 'store,' and would be more fair to call it a non-profit venture. Volunteers maintain the store floor, swap out goods seasonally, review donations, and they all work as volunteers, for gratuity alone. The love they spend on what visitors might like is obvious, from their childrens' toy section, to their miniature library, to the household goods section. The space is maintained, full of light, and is accessible. What might challenge you is that what you find here is going to be more personal to you, instead of some wide class you happen to be a part of. That is what happens when you merchandise in timeless necessities--you would just as likely find a selfie stick here as you might find typewriter paper. What you leave with is actually liberating: there's no tracker of your behavior as a consumer, there's no brand loyalty that you're analyzed for, you're just a local shopper. Perhaps that's why the Fisher Home Hospice Shop feels like any internationally savvy visitor would visit, because what strikes you might be as surprising as any other bargain reseller, like Marshalls or TJ Maxx. I had to settle for a date 2 weeks out but was eager to see how they would clean me up. Carmen was"SUPERB"! I looked like Sasquatch and have always been reluctant to trust a stylist I don't know. Comes from damage done to my ponytail by a redneck barber in 1969. I asked Carmen to lighten my load and make me half my age and she did just that. Cut so short an precise i didn't need a comb or brush just my fingers and a little "product" up front. THIS SHOP ROCKS! YOUNG OR "WELL-AGED" they can cut you right.
