Cluttered aisles and empty shelves with boxes on them, but only ONE cashier, who was listening to her music the entire time I was being checked out. The lady ahead of me was having problems with her debit card being accepted, needing to try multiple times before giving up. I offered to buy her $3 worth of items, but she explained she needed to withdraw some cash. My cashier smiled and said, "Oh, take your time!" Nice for that customer, but everyone in line (around 10-12 of us) was standing there several minutes longer because of that customer. When I was about 5th in line, the cashier needed someone to fix a problem and called. I wish that guy had noticed how long the line was, and staffed another register.

I did get a chance to browse what they had and try them out. Their selection was great and so much easier to make my way through. But, like other locations, there was no staff member around to ask questions to. So any questions I had about the stock I couldn't get answered. What I like about this location is that it just looks much cleaner. Maybe that is because it doesn't look like it cannibalized another stores location. It was so bright in here that it made me forget that I was shopping in a Big Lots.

The reason why you can never find any items that correspond with the 50% off color of the day is because as soon as this place opens, there are employees assigned to hurry up and REMOVE items with that color. I was in the shoe aisle and all of a sudden saw a woman grabbing shoes and quickly tossing them into a bag. As I looked closer, these were all shoes with BLUE stickers (which happened to be the 50% off color of the day). No one else was in the aisle which is why she likely felt comfortable doing something so grimy. The fact that everything in this store was received for FREE and literally just put on a shelves and hangers--but you people have the NERVE to not only price gauge but intentionally HIDE items that would have qualified for the 50% off color is egregious. Your greed knows no bounds.
