I was blown away with the customer service I received at this store yesterday. I was looking for hand soap and one of your gals went above and beyond to help me. She went to the back and checked for the type I was searching for and when she didn't find any she brought me multiple other options and ultimately ended up helping me get something so much better than I originally was looking for. The cashier was so friendly and was in such good spirits. The security guard at the door greets every one that comes in the doors w a friendly and genuine nice attitude! From the outside, you expect the full Target experience, but once you get inside, you quickly realize it's more like a boutique version. That said, it's very clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. If you only need to grab a few essentials, it's perfect. Just don't come expecting the wide selection you'd find at a traditional Target, or you may leave wishing there was just a little more.

So, not much is below $5 or rather "the good stuff" you think is $5 or lower like the Lego Sets are often priced at FMV fair market value ranges of $15-25. But that's more of a common sense sign of the times, so I can't walk into "Five Below" believing everything is $5 and under and am okay with that, I just need to check the prices before committing to a purchase. The check - out is self-service so they run a lean small staff. Parking is easy. Overall, it's better than Dollar Tree, on par with Daiso, and looks sort of like what the $0.99 Only Stores looked like before they closed up, with a greater assortment of higher priced items than lower priced items, but still a lot of novelties that were cheap (although sometimes cheap in quality and price in the "you get what you pay for" caliber goods). Huge selection of bedding and bath items too. Whatever you need, you're likely to find it at this location. Parking can be challenging because they share a lot with Home Depot and In and Out.

Located on Hawthorne Boulevard, in North Redondo, just West of the Galleria, it's never a problem to find. Plus, as it's attached to a large shopping complex, they have a very large parking lot, so parking should never be a problem. Once inside this TJ Maxx location, you'll find what all TJ Maxx stores have to offer; i.e.: tons of clothing, shoes, jewerly, a little bit of furnishings, and all the kind of stuff you would expect. The aisles here are all well organized, so finding things should never be a problem. And, the store is well maintained. It shows its age a little bit. But, it's still a great place to get whatever TJ Maxx has to offer. So, if you're in the South Bay, and you want to grab what a TJ Maxx store has to offer, this is an easy place to do it.

They tell me to wait for the manager to come up to the front to get me while the manager comes up to the front to tell me that everybody received that email and it was by mistake which I know she's bullshitting me because I can see right through the bullshit as I have managed before and I know how that stuff goes so thank TJ Maxx for wasting my time and thanks for saving me from working at such an unorganized place.

At the outset Daiso was a $1.50 store, then $1.75. Now the lowest cost items are $2.25 and things that cost a little more have doubled in price - 300¥ ($2) items are priced at $6USD, 500¥ ($3.30) items are priced at $8USD. I had such sticker shock at the self-checkout that I ended up putting a couple of the higher-priced items back. I will no doubt continue coming to Daiso, but with these cost increases, I'll definitely have to be selective about what to buy. This is still my fav location in this area, mainly because of the drama-free parking :)
