I am thrilled to not have to drive downtown Chicago or to Oakbrook for a nice pair of jeans! I got to visit the boutique on it's opening day this past Saturday and found so many cute things. The store was packed, which is exciting as it means there are a lot of people who will be supporting it so we can keep places like this in our town. The owner was so kind and did an amazing job with the space. The prices are mid range, which is nice. It isn't over the top, but it also isn't cheap. I love the selection she has. She even commented on how she only orders a limited run of each item so that you don't see everyone around town in the same thing, so smart! I would likely have gotten some chicken as well, but did not feel comfortable asking how the grill orders work or what was available given that no one tried to engage with me as a customer. It is hard not to compare Ali Baba to Alladin Pita and definitely feel like Alladin Pita is both a nicer market and a more friendly, professional business. That being said, Ali Baba is 20 minutes closer to me so I will likely be back again, hopefully next time someone will greet me and can explain to me how the grill menu works.

The store seems to be divided in a few different areas. One area is a thrift store area and there are other areas that are consignment areas.
