What an unusual store! Random isn't the word for the assortment of merchandise: some furniture, some clothing, lots of men's shoes, few women's shoes, area rugs, toilet paper, some decor, a larger appliance section, a few toys and games, small appliances, single cans of soda, sparkling water, Monster, even some pet items. And dozens of suitcases of all colors! If you need luggage you will love the variety here. I'm working in the area this week and happened to see this store which is near my hotel. The furniture is very nice and extremely reasonably priced. I found a couple of couches that I would have considered purchasing IF I wasn't 3 hours from home and IF I was driving a truck. There were men's Land's End shoes for $5 a pair. A great deal! In fact everything I saw was a very good deal. I've never seen a store like this before. A fun place to shop! If I lived nearer I would stop in frequently! We definitely don't have a store like this in Carmel where I live. I'll add that everything was well organized and prices were clearly marked. What is this place?! It's filled with a random assortment of everything you can think of, but at a discount. Everything from name-brand clothing and shoes to patio furniture and bedroom furniture, individual rolls of toilet paper, laundry baskets, washing machines, luggage, margarita mix, mirrors, giant cans of tuna, dog beds, tiki torches and lots more. Last Chance Overstock sells the things that didn't sell at other stores. It's the Island of Misfit Merchandise, if you will. (Will you?) My children had a fun time sitting in all of the chairs and couches around the store. A big portion of the store is dedicated to furniture, and the store-people are 100% OK with you and your children sitting on every couch and lying on every bed. My kids wanted to find the most comfortable couch, and they chose the one with plush corduroy that had cup holders and a USB plug. They wanted to buy it, but we live many miles away, and also, there is no way I'm inviting a couch with cupholders and a USB plug into my home. Get bent, kids. You need to look at the products carefully, because some of the things are a little worse for the wear. But for the most part, most of the items I saw at Last Chance looked perfectly fine. I wouldn't come here to find something specific, because inventory changes frequently, but this is a good place to browse and find a treasure. read more

Not sure why anyone would want to shop here. The discounts are so slight you might as well just buy a new one from the original retailer. You think that they would offer a larger discount, especially when half of their inventory is defective, or has dents, scratches, stains, rips, tears, etc. Oh, also, they have a nice section where you can buy expired food. I just moved to Schererville and was looking for an oversize rug for my living room. I purchased a 9x13 rug and I did NOT roll it out in the store. I got it home and rolled it out to find a hole in the middle of the rug. I called the store and explained the situation and let them know I didn't have my receipt and I wanted to return it. They proceeded to tell me I'd have to pay a restock fee and I told them the rug could not be put back into stock let alone resold. So, I took the rug back to the store for them to see it for themselves and they saw the hole and just proceeded to tell me they couldn't do anything for me, even though they saw the hole and just kept telling me because I didn't have the receipt and some tag on the rug. I gave them the date I purchased the rug and still they wouldn't do anything for me. I'm still looking for a rug (w/o a hole), for my living room. Alright, I added a star back because on my fourth trip in (I'm often at Planet Fitness, so hey, why not) they ACTUALLY had some legitimate closeouts! This is what I saw first, though: --Costco brand detergent - $1.50 off Costco's typical price, and in a badly dented bottle. --Pillows - $2.50 off what Costco was charging. The packages were torn. So...were these pillows *returned* or just damaged? And who needs a pillow that badly that they'd take a chance? --No-name crappy sheets (think the kind you see at a kiosk in the middle of Lighthouse mall) for $40 a set. Yeehaw. But -- BUT -- just when I was about to leave, they had Costco (again) brand men's ties. Unopened, still in the package. Dozens of them. What's this? An actual closeout and not something that got damaged or returned? And not only that, but they were cheap! $13.50 each, and then buy one get one free! Whaaaaat?! Okay, you get a star back, Last Chance Overstock. Now stop pretending that the damaged/returned merchandise you sell is "overstock" and stop charging near full price for it. read more

Horrible return policy. BUYER BEWARE! Be prepared to read all the signs posted in inconspicuous places, such as 20 feet above the registers, BEFORE you buy. I bought a monitor I was unable to use. Listed on the receipt as items that were final sale and couldn't be returned are: TV's, computers, Apple and Samsung products, large appliances, suitcases.... Nowhere listed on the receipt is "Electronics" Upon trying to return, I was denied and shown the sign posted WAY above the register that also listed "Electronics" as final sale. Very disappointing. But, I missed the signs. I guarantee I wont make that mistake again. read more

Bought a recliner and had 7 days to pick it up. The 4th of July was included in those days, which it shouldn't have because they were closed because I was here on the 4th. Their pick up hours are over at 4:30 pm. I work and get off at 5:00. I paid the restocking fee of 10% and got a refund. It was cheaper to do that than pay $100 extra. The chair wasn't worth that. Hi all! Okay, I've been a shopper here for at least 6-7 years since my daughter was in grammar school. When I first shopped here I thought that this place is a keeper! Found all household needs and clothing for my daughter! Now, years later they have expanded and so have the prices....with that said I found a DKNY puffer coat for $50! Where can you find that these days? Maybe Burlington but I didn't feel like sifting for a half day. I'm still impressed even if I only get paper towels and oat milk. Just really like going to see what they have. I still give it 4 stars, though. read more

I couldn't wait to visit this store I just found out about. Oh well, to my surprise I was stunned. I was thinking on the lines of something like Sam's Club or Costco's. Immediately when I walked in, it was more like a thrift store. That's not a bad thing if you are looking for a thrift store. I did walk through the store & browse just to give it a chance. Very disappointed. Some stuff seem overpriced, like a waterpik $100. A kids broken car to ride in for $75. I also saw labels on shampoo, conditioner & lotion (some missing). Maybe some just spilled out but is labeled, I didn't get @ first until I picked up a bottle. Some stuff is from Costco with Kirkland on it, that's how you know. This place is awesome!! You never know what you'll find from leather furniture to toilet paper. Most of the brand names are Kirkland so I believe they must be Costco overstock at discounted prices. I was able to pick up Kirkland olive oil, K-cups, Tide laundry detergent, crest toothpaste and other odds and ends. Also there was an employee named Vivian who was extremely helpful with assisting me locate a certain size men's pants I needed. This is never the same store twice!!! read more

Nice place to come too. Came here to see what they offered. The store is well kept, I'm a sucker for some cool furniture pieces. They offer a variety of furniture. As others have stated.. you find something you like, best to get then. I did get lucky and found a awesome windbreaker/ raincoat. Always nice to have a second option to wear and in olive green!!! Wife and I went here after reading a review about huge discounts, but when we got there everything was only slightly cheaper than retail price. And for all the positive reviews, they all seem to be saying the same thing. Cheap priced clothing. Well thats great, another cheap priced clothing store. If we wanted cheap priced clothing, we would buy new from Walmart. Furniture wise, shop elsewhere. Last Chance Overstock is a great place to stop in regularly to find great bargains. I've purchased lots of children's clothing and got a great deal on kids gloves. They were so inexpensive I bought quite a few pair to give to our church's coat/glove drive. I love looking through the clothing racks and often find great deals. I just bought an all leather purse for under $30! It's also a great place to get some random furniture and home decorating pieces. I've gotten some great luggage deals there, too. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the store is always clean and neat- even at the end of the day! I love stopping in to find a great bargain!! read more

All styles $250 and up. Retail .Right now 50% off the mark down price. $80 and up! Bye the way I gave my Dyson to my daughter after using this ! Right now 75% off summer clothes ! Tommy Hilfinger paid $4.00 for Capris. I could go on and on ! You can't just go in once & decide . They are in the process of enlarging the store. Oh..... Costco shag rugs half off! Great place to pick up your favorite Costco item at an even better price. The furniture selection is always changing and you'll need to stop in often to stay current would recommend buying any item you like as it may not be there when you return. Know what pricing is when you get there will help some items at Costco can be cheaper just depends on how long they have been there. read more

I stumbled upon this place while also frequenting Planet Fitness like Region R. However unlike him/her I'll point out all of the great things I've seen. To make a long story short, I refuse to go anywhere else and pay retail prices! I find amazing deals 9/10 times I'm in this store! the staff and their customer service alone makes this review 5/5. Then you add the deals, closeouts, and sale into the mix.. you can't go wrong! If I could I would give 10/10. Over the past few months it seems as if they keep expanding more and more.. Just recently they opened up their back doors for a Dock Sale. It was a mad house! Easily 300 people were there for their 80% off everything. To sum it up, next time your passing by, stop in. I came into this store to browse and came out with a cartful of bargains. The customer service was great as I had some questions in the kitchen area and the staff was very helpful. I found beautiful bedding for a great price. They also have a clearance area with very very low prices but it seems like things go fast as that area had definitely been picked over.
