Parking was a disaster; between the outdoor church services in the nearby park, and all the exercisers, I was just driving down the street to leave when somebody pulled out and I got their spot. After walking around to the back of the building, there were four vendors set up. I thought - is this all there is? - and then finally I noticed people were using a different back entrance to gain access to the actual flea market. Directional signs would be a major plus next time! Inside there was an excellent selection of vendors, piled far and wide into narrow rows. I would have loved to have spent more time perusing, but it got so crowded so quickly, it was impossible. One trip through and I was done. If you don't like crowds, this is NOT the event for you. One final thought - please, for the love of all that is holy, leave your strollers and your pets at home. Carry your babies, or don't bring them, but there was certainly not enough room for the overwhelming number of carriages and the mass of humanity that filled this tiny space.

I also liked historic neighboring buildings that are starting to get repurposed as the area starts to blossom. Next door is a custom woodwork and furniture shop. They also do laser engraving and stencils. Woodshop classes. Hidden Springs Ale Works is next door on the other side. It is a newish brewery spot and tasting room in a warehouse space. The Heights YMCA, Carnegie library building, Waterworks Park and Ulele Restaurant, Cafe Hey, Oceanic Oriental Market, and Cafe Hey are also nearby. The indie vendors are the main attraction at the Indie Flea. Several crafters of leather goods, belts, purses, bags, a lovely smock and bag maker, Dark Cycle and other local t-shirt and clothing design companies, some cake and donut vendors, a few food trucks, candles, soaps, wreaths and succulents, cards, vintage items and such as well as good people watching. Disney Springs / Downtown Disney this ain't. These hipsters are fashionistas!!! I wore my best Americsn Apparel vintage tee. This is a great project by community minded peeps. Buy local. Love local. Live local. And fight Mayor Buckhorn's TBX highway expansion that will decimate, destroy and divide these historic neighborhoods once again in favor of suburban commuters and Buckhorn's big business construction buddies.

Place was recently purchased by new owners, who completely remodeled the shop. Now 80% smoke shop,…read more10% grocery, 10% alcohol. Used to be 80% groceries & while it was overpriced-- it was extremely convenient for residents nearby. The first time I came to the remodeled store, I got hosed on a bottle of laundry detergent. The price was double retail. Never again. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt & purchase a much more popular item. Wine. Nope. There's another register over on the alcohol side.. I went to purchase a bottle of wine with cash but that register doesn't accept cash & apparently it was too much trouble for cashier to ring up sale on the cash register so he got a $4 tip. It can't be an accident that the alcohol register is card only. I paid $9 for a carry on, tsa approved, mini bottle of tide on my first visit. Second visit, I paid $16 for an $9 bottle of wine literally anywhere else -- which I was actually okay with -- until my overpaying with cash is a hassle for them bc the liquor side doesn't have a cash drawer so the cashier got a tip. Both trips I have left this shop feeling ripped off, so it'd be kind of insane for me to go back. Lots of my neighbors have complained about the new exorbitant prices as well. So it's def not just me.

I have coffee cheesecake and my wife has the strawberry cheesecake. These cheesecake come in jar. The store carry many type of wine if you want a retail wine. Some items are more "cheap" quality than others but overall, decent. I love the showrooms and being able to touch and experience what it actually feels like to be in that room. My son loved the kids section. He had fun running around and exploring the different rooms and playing with the display toys.

I drove 100+ miles and picked up my kitchen. After spending a few hours assembling the cabinets I realized that the cabinets were not the right size. 30" vs the 36" I had indicated that I needed. I was Not happy but decided to just deal with it and use what I was sold. When I went to install the cabinets on the wall I realized that the over the refrigerator cabinet was 24" deep instead of the 14" that I had requested to match the depth of the rest of the cabinets. This was a deal breaker for me as this cabinet door would not open due to it hitting the refrigerator hinges. I called customer service and spoke with someone that I could barely understand and explained the situation. When I was done explaining, the line was disconnected!!!. I started over and spoke to another person that was hard to understand with a dog barking in the background. This person set me up with an online appointment to resolve the problem. Six hours later I had the online appointment where the nice person that I could understand explained to me that they only designed kitchens and had no authority to resolve the situation. He then gave me a phone number to call to resolve the situation which was the same number that I had originally called. I called again and the individual I spoke to didnt seem to have enough knowledge about their product to help me. At this point I asked to return the cabinets. Ikea will pick up the cabinets in 9 DAYS. Then 5-6 business days later I will be refunded the money. So now I have to wait two more weeks to be able to reorder cabinets elsewhere because my money is tied up by this fiasco!
