Not my Dr. still wrong. Today I'm just having them put my old prescription in the new frames I had to buy. Now I will have new glasses that I didn't need. I have two daughters who have recently used this insurance and their copay was just $10. I filled out paperwork and when I returned it to the window I was told my copay was $10 plus I needed to pay an additional $90 that I could pay out of my own pocket or I could use my insurance that would normally go towards glasses/contacts for my appointment. Why did they not tell me this upfront when I made this appointment?

He's independent - doesn't make money off slinging expensive contacts - and is well known and respected in his field. He uses a combination of old and new technology, so you are actually benefiting from his expertise as opposed to at the mercy of a machine. The exam was reasonably priced (50 something dollars for a glasses exam, and 99 for contacts, without insurance, and it's done in a way that checks your eye health.without dilation.) I was extremely impressed. The office was clean and the receptionist was very nice e and knowledgeable as well.
