We came here to buy flowers for my uncles wake/funeral. They had a lot of photos and work to look at so we could see how it would look the day of which was helpful. He put his professional input on colors and assured us it would look well together. Which the day of it did. The cross was absolutely gorgeous and casket arrangement was full and beautiful. The quality of the flowers were fresh and none of them looked wilted. The colors were vibrant as well. They had a full gift shop and holiday decorations. They had birthday balloons, stuffed animals and random other things to buy for a loved one, birthday or even yourself to decorate the house. Perfect for other occasions as well. I was unable to attend a funeral service for someone very important to me and it broke my heart. In an effort to have some presence at the funeral, I called the Mangano Funeral Home where the services were being held and they recommended Family Florist next door. I spoke to June at Family Florist and she was kind and patient and helped me pick out an arrangement. She also ensured me that she would get it over to the funeral home as soon as possible - I am not sure when it did arrive but she assured me she would try to get it there within the hour. My sister attended the services and let me know the spray I ordered turned out beautifully, which is exactly what I wanted for someone I loved so much. In such a sad time where I felt powerless and so far away, I am so grateful that Family Florist was able to help me - and in such a lovely, friendly way. I highly recommend going with this florist. If I could give this florist no stars I would have. I spent over $300 on a wreath for a funeral. I picked it out off their website, "Colorful Serenity Wreath" (it was shown in all autumn colors). When placing the order I specifically asked if it would look like the picture and was told that the colors would be the same (autumn colors) but there may be different flowers. I said no pink, red and whites. I wanted the colors as shown in the picture, yellow and oranges. I walk into the funeral home and couldn't find the flowers. I thought they weren't delivered, but there it was red, pinks and white. Nothing like the picture. When I called the florist they insisted this was fall colors like the picture. The manager was supposed to call me but of course never did. The pictures are below. Do they look like the same flower arrangement to you? Totally disappointed. Wonderful Mother's Day experience with Family Florist. I do not live locally, but I called several weeks before Mother's Day with a few designs in mind. The gentleman I spoke with was extremely patient and friendly, offering opinions and insight when asked, and overall made the process extremely easy. Once the flowers arrived, Family Florist replicated my vision to a T! The arrangement was beautiful and elegant, and the flowers were good quality. No issues at all with delivery even though it was such a busy day. Another thing to note is that I accompanied someone to the actual location on Mother's Day as they needed to do some last minute shopping. Naturally, the shop was incredibly busy with people picking up their orders or last-minute shopping, but even in the midst of chaos the customer service was excellent. Further, Family Florist had a wide selection of beautiful, high-quality flowers both in wrapped bouquets or pre-arranged with vases and filler greens, all available to buy without any pre-ordering on Mother's Day. You would never guess that the flowers we purchased weren't ordered weeks ahead of time! I've been passing this beautiful, inviting florist for awhile now...ive finally stopped in for a bouquet for a special someone. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and asked what can I do for you..I can see they were busy by the scraps on the back floor,( cuttings from the countless arrangement made that day) it was the end of the day on a Saturday and the woman greeted me as if I were the first customer of the day. I asked for "different" flowers ..meaning not the usual..not many florists have such a nice selection of flowers. This place not only did, but they were very fresh! I asked for a $50 arrangement and was hoping it wasn't gonna be skimpy. To my surprise it was a beautiful grand summer flower bouquet that I was happy to give to someone...I will definitely be back! A family friend had passed away and I went inside to see if they could put together a smaller bouquet of flowers for about $15. I am not really familiar with purchasing flowers for a funeral or how it works. A woman who worked there was absolutely rude when we told her our price range and even referred to the person as " what's the name of the dead person". She literally laughed in our face.
