Farmers market is set up next by a high school. Parking is at the front of the high school. Do come early because parking is limited based on what I could tell. A good variety of vendors from all over Northern and Southern California. They were all super friendly and nice. You may find fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, juices, organic goods, non-food items, and so much more. Some vendors offer free samples so you can taste before you buy. I found some of the best oranges I have ever eaten from here. I've only been here once. We took the Metro - A Line over to the South Pasadena Station and we could immediately smell the delicious barbecue and hear the live music from the market nearby. Follow your senses! I think taking the Metro would be easier than finding parking since it was really busy. We were both surprised about how large this farmers' market was with many food vendors, artisan goods, and of course fresh fruits and vegetable taking up multiple streets. Definitely the type of place you want to go to enjoy some snacks here, and then take some produce and goods home. One of the first things I saw were oysters but we were patient and decided to walk through the whole market first to see what our options are. After walking through the whole event, we came back for the oysters, and also got some roasted corn and a nutella crepe. Yum! Also we both felt like the prices with the vendors here were all very fair and reasonable. As my boyfriend puts it, you can get some of your favorite fair snacks without being price gauged. Also, there is a free museum in the area about the history of Pasadena that is open late on Thursdays to align with the farmers' market. Overall I felt like this is one of the biggest farmer markets I've been to with a wide variety of snacks, vendors, goods, and entertainment. Thursdays are normally hard for us to trek to the area after work, but I would definitely be back when my schedule allows. I'll bring my big cooler bag next time to take more goodies home with me.

I think there was maybe 20 vendors or less with some as food and a couple specialty item stores. I was expecting a more but we went away with a couple of items and tried some delicious things. Here's what I got: Calamaki - Rockfish Ceviche - 5 oz for $10 - the fish was from Santa Barbara and was mixed with tomatoes, capers, onions, etc. It was a really refreshing ceviche. We ate it on the spot because we were hungry and it was a tad frozen but still yummy! Focaccia Bread - $4, I don't remember the stall name bit the bread was quite yummy and airy! Tacos Casa - Amigos Platter $15 - The tacos were delicious! The al pastor was especially delicious. The mulitas were also yummy adding that gooey cheese. The sopes were a miss for me - hard to eat and not super flavorful. Even with ordering this, it says chips, guac, and beans are included but we did not get that and were too far to go back already. We did get some organic lettuce and these cute little squashes! Perfect for lettuce wraps and sauteed veggies. Both costs about $4. I am sometimes hesitant in purchasing marinated meat from places but this place, you can tell the meat and chicken were fresh and he marinated the chicken right then and there. And this place is $4 cheaper on carne asada than our local markets. Good customer service too. This will be my new place for meat and chicken.

Recently I saw a board advertising Rosemead Farmer's Market and I decided to check it out…read more [Hours]: Monday from 5 PM to 9 PM; however this market has a history of not opening for an entire year as this is a seasonal market. The market used to be located in Civic Center Plaza, but it has moved to Rosemead Park (right next to the basketball courts). [Parking]: To my surprise, it was not easy to find a spot to park. Rosemead Park is a popular spot for local residents to come and exercise, so I had to park at the lot for Encinita Elementary School. [Amenities]: No dogs allowed in food court. No skateboard, no bike, no scooters, no hover boards, and no roller skates. There are plenty of restrooms in Rosemead Park, but park restrooms aren't exactly super clean. [Vendors]: I spotted jerky, tamales, michelaguas, Hong Kong waffle, Hawaiian shaved ice, two fruit/vegetable vendors, aguas fresca, kettle corn, and miscellaneous accessory stands. Honestly this is one of the smallest and emptiest farmers markets I have visited. The market was pretty dead when I got here at 8 PM and you can hardly call this a farmers market with just two fruit/vegetable vendors. This market felt more like an outdoor food court than an actual farmers market.

There are three long booths for fruits and vegetables. A booth in the back for jerky and tamales. There is music playing and another booth for Rae honey and another for jewelry. A few other booths for other things but I didn't check them out to see what they offer.
