4/5/26 Happy Easter, last minute shopping, as always We steer clear off the Alhambra location due to high traffic areas, this is more amenable. My purpose was to find fresh organic corn to make spring/summer salad, but alas, none here. I inquired from this kindly gentleman who looked & (not his dept.) asked the staff in the back. He did direct me to the packaged corn on the cob, at this point, I have no choice and I was not about to go to another store to find one. Picked up a couple of tomato packages, cucumbers, some avocados and a balsamic dressing. And off I went. There were no self check outs here. The cashier & bagger were both helpful & cordial. Prices are at par with Ralph's, Albertsons or Vons. Parking is plentiful. I did not venture out into the other departments other than the pictures that I have posted here just to get a lay of the land. Will likely return to shop here. It's clean, well organized & somewhat stocked (no fresh corn on the cob!). I understand that the supply chain can be fickle. Good overall experience. read more

I never thought I'd write a review about a grocery store but I felt obligated to do so after having so many positive and wonderful experiences with the staff. I've seen the staff drop everything to ask customers how they're doing, the cashiers always give stickers to babies and kids and I personally have experienced a manager going above and beyond to make sure that I left the store happy and satisfied. My personal thoughts outside the stellar service: great location, never too busy, parking is solid and I know if there's something wrong with something I bought I know the customer service will go out of their way to make sure they can make it right. Stopped by sprouts to pick up some snacks and sandwiches before heading to the beach. The sandwich was almost too pretty to eat! The pasta salad was okay, not too flavorful I wouldn't get it again. Service at this location has always been great anytime I've come by. The inside is large and clean with good AC which is a huge plus when it's so hot out lol. The employees at this location aren't as friendly as the employees at the Alhambra store. I came here for one item, and I didn't want to walk around the whole store for that one item. The first employees I spoke to stated the item would be at the bulk area. She then pointed toward a certain area. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it. As a different employee was walking by, I politely ask if she could help me. Her attitude of me interrupting wherever she was going was not appreciated. She also pointed toward a location. The customer service here is nothing like one of their competitors that also sells similar items. The staff at this location do not seem as friendly as those at the Alhambra store. I visited specifically for one item and preferred not to search the entire store for it. The first employee I spoke with indicated the item would be in the bulk area and gestured in a particular direction. Regrettably, I was unable to locate it. As another employee passed by, I politely inquired if she could assist me. Her demeanor suggested an inconvenience at being interrupted, which was not appreciated. She also pointed towards a general area. The customer service here does not quite match the standard of some competitors who offer similar products. Sprouts is forever the best. They have incredible deals, I popped in to take advantage of the bogo deal that's happening now! I also hopped to the deli to pick up my faaaaaaaave shrimp, chicken, beef skewers. Such a freaking good deal and so delicious saves so much time (runs all the time). And I'm obsessed with Sprouts corn bread, like I've had so many great recipes but no one beats Sprouts it's my once in a while treat to myself. Beware of sale prices! This is regarding an item that had a mislabeled sale sticker. I love Sprouts' pumpkin seed granola. But when I saw the honey oats were on sale I chose that instead. I also saw that the stock was low, so I thought maybe that's because of the sale. I didn't realize until I left the store and checked my receipt that it was rung up as regular price $8.99 instead of the $5.99 sale price. I didn't know where I can find a manager so I quickly went back to the store and took a picture to show the cashier. But she claimed that the sale sticker on the original sticker was incorrect, She apologized halfheartedly, and didn't even mention to remove the mislabeled sticker. I called the other day for Chicken thighs on sale. I was on hold forever and finally reached the meat counter. The grumpy guy on the phone said they did NOT have any on sale. I went to the store anyways to pick up a few other things. Turns out they DID have the Sprouts brand chicken thighs on a great sale and a shopper in front of me took the last package. Next I asked a random sales person (all whom look as if they are very unhappy to be working at this store) where I could find packaged rice. He unfortunately looked confused with my questions so I went to look for it on my own. Lastly I was in the produce section and noticed the peaches were on sale. Asked the produce guy which were on ones were on sale because the sale sign was off to the corner. He said they were out......OMG, they had a full storage bin of beautiful peaches...not at all out of stock....I do like shopping at Sprouts (OTHER LOCATIONS) but this one on Rosemead has always had a strange vibe to it. I was going to talk to a manager about my not so great shopping experience but as I mentioned, no one working that day had a hint of a smile or any look other then unhappiness. This review is for the meat department, and specifically the carne asada. I am fat. No one can deny that. My mother says I am a handsome boy, but I know she writes in her diary every night that I am fat, much too fat. Well, you made me lady this is on you. Because of my desire to eat all the foods, I have tried what scientists classify as "an ungodly amount" of carne asada in my life. I've tried so many carnecerias and super markets but none have been as good as the carne asada at Sprouts. I don't know what they use to marinate it, whether it's lime, pinapple juice, some experimental compound from Area 51, I don't give a shit. I buy a lot of it. A LOT OF IT and I eat almost all of it. Hector in the meat department is always very helpful when I'm there buying their month's supply of carne asada. The other dudes and I think one girl in the department are always so friendly and nice. Would I return back to eat the carne asada? Does a unicorn shit on the moon? The answer to both, is yes. Everyone else at this sprouts are nice too. The checkout people are really friendly and I like them as well. Do I like them as much as carne asada from Sprouts? No. Absolutely not. I would commit treason for this carne asada. Not even a lot either, like, 1/3lb of carne asada is enough for me to commit treason. Amen. read more

In their favor, they have a publicly accessible restroom. Unfortunately, it is down a very, very long hallway. And once you get there, you find out that you will need a code to get in. If you are handicapped or just have to use the restroom urgently, you have now another layer of negotiating before you are able to use the restroom. You must cover that same long, long hallway and find an associate to give you the bathroom door lock code. All of this could've been alleviated by simply having signs next to the signs pointing to the bathroom, letting you know that you will need a code. The first employee, I spoke to was a bit combative and reluctant to see the problem, so I was forced to ask for a manager in order to make the suggestion. read more

Meat Department Unethical Practices : on 10/10/2025, I purchased 3 packs of Grass Fed Fillet Mignons (about $22-26 each individually packed). I have noticed the meat department left in a lot of fats, I thought it was unethical but shrugged it off. The meat is very fresh when I clean them. The meats were cooked to medium and served. That is when my family noticed what was wrong! The meats ARE VERY TOUGH! IT WAS NOT A FILLET MIGNON CUT, IT WAS MORE OF A SIRLON CUT! I had a really uncomfortable experience here with one of the cashiers, Roberta. When I said hi to her, she barely acknowledged me and just looked at me with a blank face. She even shoved my stuff to the side without helping me pack. At first, I thought maybe that's just how she is, but then two non-Asian customers came in, and she suddenly became super friendly--smiling, saying hi, and chatting with them. It really felt like I was being treated differently because I'm Asian, and it was upsetting. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. Parking is easy. They have a free parking lot. The store is not big but it has plenty. The store is clean and has an organized layout. I've been coming to this store for years. I am especially grateful for my experience with Erfan. I could hear his kindness and care with other customers in conversation. I don't know about y'all, but when young adults take too long in the store, some workers start being weird and act as if you're trying to steal (2021 racism? I literally took about 45mins looking at the things they have, the ingredients + sugars + carbs (yes yall, I'm one of those LOL) so it does take me a bit of time. This was my first time at Sprouts, and I must say they have some amazing sh*t! LOL. Expensive? YES. Worth it? Double yes! I bought Lily's chocolate (2.00) , a cheese box (5.00), fresh pepperoni (3.00) and a protein bar (2.50) Everything was so amazing! My cheese box was GREAT! They have lost of fresh made items and I didn't even know they had things like that! The pepperoni I bought was damn near the best I've ever had!
