We took the Metro - A Line over to the South Pasadena Station and we could immediately smell the delicious barbecue and hear the live music from the market nearby. Follow your senses! I think taking the Metro would be easier than finding parking since it was really busy. We were both surprised about how large this farmers' market was with many food vendors, artisan goods, and of course fresh fruits and vegetable taking up multiple streets. Definitely the type of place you want to go to enjoy some snacks here, and then take some produce and goods home. One of the first things I saw were oysters but we were patient and decided to walk through the whole market first to see what our options are. After walking through the whole event, we came back for the oysters, and also got some roasted corn and a nutella crepe. Yum! Also we both felt like the prices with the vendors here were all very fair and reasonable. As my boyfriend puts it, you can get some of your favorite fair snacks without being price gauged. Also, there is a free museum in the area about the history of Pasadena that is open late on Thursdays to align with the farmers' market. Overall I felt like this is one of the biggest farmer markets I've been to with a wide variety of snacks, vendors, goods, and entertainment. Thursdays are normally hard for us to trek to the area after work, but I would definitely be back when my schedule allows. I'll bring my big cooler bag next time to take more goodies home with me.

There are vendors that sell the same things you find at every open air market such as cheap jewelry and resellers of online products. But there are some unique and true vintage items you just have to know your stuff and look. The crowds all flocked out to the rose bowl to score on amazing pieces and clothing. A massive flea market that takes a while to complete. Broken down to three section. First or the main, it's wrapped around the stadium which tends to be pretty much everything. Then you have the section right next to it which caters to furniture. If you're looking to score good pieces, they do have an early bird entry time. But standard is 8-3 pm. And lastly, over the bridge is where the clothes tends to be. There, you'll find literally everything. Just have to search for whatever you're looking for. Prices varies with the vendors. Some are majors scores but you may have to dig through piles of clothes. While others are way pricey. Some pieces are like wtf, how is that 150 dollars....lol... But there's alway something to find. Pretty much all vendors take all sort of payment now. Some offer bags for you but bring your own incase. They have food carts and drinks but it is a bit on the steep side. Entrance fee is about 15.00 plus service fee online. Everything is done online now versus prior when you can pay cash. There's loads of parking in the lot. If you're looking for closer to the entrance, there's a paid lot. Street parking is also available but did noticed that a certain section has now become non stop area. Monthly treasure hunts is always on the calendar. Angelenos love the second Sunday of the month.

The part farmers market is not…read morelike the one in Pasadena were they have more variety of food/vegetables to purchase but it is new and I think that in time it will be a place where people will come out to hang out like in Monrovia. As for the food vendors... I haven tried too many other than the tamale guy. He sells them for 3-50 and 6 for 17.00. Needless to say I had to buy the value. It made a good lunch the next day. The masa is decent and the tamale is larger than the average. I liked the pork one. I tried beef and pork. It had softer mass which means more lard. It it was good. It is not like the place I go to in ela or El Monte but good for the convenience. I have gone twice here and last night there was another new tamale guy. I didn't try his, only the guy from ingle wood. I also went to the Mediterranean place from Monrovia. 10.00 for a salad, not bad I tried all the combo meat lamb chicken. The shaved ice will be the hit during the summer months. I saw a place that sold grilled whole squid which I thought was interesting. I wouldn't buy it myself personally but I mentioned it to my coworker and she told me she loves it that way. She pays 8.00 and is only 6.00 at the farmers market. I got some fresh eggs, tangerines, pickles, an iced coffee, a breakfast burrito, and my favorite stand was the loose leaf tea from Chafolio. We got lucky with parking and found a spot right next to the farmer's market - there's a small lot if you want to try that. There's also a nice clean public park across the street where you can enjoy your treats. Along the street are a bunch of food trucks you can also try! The goods here ranges from freshly made food to produce to hand made jewelry. Every farmer's market day will be a little different, but if you happen to love pickles or loose leaf tea, I highly recommend the Chafolio stand for tea and The Crazy Cucumber stand for pickles.

Walked in at exactly 9am, and there was already a long line. They had a lot of food options to choose from along with lots of beautiful, real plants. They have over 30 vendors and some even let you try the food before buying them. Parking situation was a disaster, No parking and one of the streets near buy was closed. I had to circulate like 4 times, parked 2 blocks down and had to walk to the Market. I bought couple of scented candles, loaf of olive bread, 4 Croissants, dozen eggs, 4 beef Pupusas, fresh Sunflowers from their floral vendor, 2 regular size ground beef tacos with cheese and tomato from their taco stand, 2 Apricot preserves in a jar, got fresh berries. 5 Peaches, Strawberries, and blueberries, and one cup of decaf. Coffee to enjoy with my croissant. Place was clean, and dogs were very annoying being in the presence of food and people. They have dried fruit, nuts, few clothes, jewelry, and more.. A small pony ride with carousel in the back for kid's entertainment. Everything was overly priced and not worth paying the money for. You can get all that at your nearest grocery store for a lot more affordable prices. It was worth giving this place a try though.. I think I will stick to my Studio City Farmers market that is literally 5 minutes away from my house. They also don't have parking, but it is somewhat more manageable than this one was..Remaining food that doesn't sell, they make a donation to the nearest charities!

I saw booths offering prepared foods, baked goods, fresh eggs, olive oils, jams, dried fruits, nuts, plants, herbs, candles, & more. There is also a vintage market behind Club Tee-Gee, where you'll score some cool used clothing and accessories. Parking is difficult. I found a spot a few blocks away. If I lived locally, I'd be here every Sunday. If time allows, make a day of it and visit all the cool shops & eateries along Glendale Blvd. *Cash preferred.
