My family and I went last week and were told an hour wait, so we waited. When we go to check in, the host tells us it's going to be another hour or so. At this point we gave up. Speed up to this weekend, we decided to try again. Called ahead, found out they don't take reservations, which I highly recommend changing. The host tells us 10-15 wait. When we arrived the time jumped to 40, this was with in a 15 minute window. We ordered the sampler for appetizer, we all enjoyed. Then we split the family feast, ribs were tender and full of flavor. We had an option for choice of meat so we chose the chicken. Unfortunately the kitchen was so backed up that we never got to try it, instead it we substituted it out for something else. Our waiter was friendly, but did not know the menu items when we asked questions. Whoever the bus guy was, he was very helpful and attentive even though it was not his job. Whoever he was thank you (blonde kid with glasses and disability of the hand) he could easily be a great server for the restaurant. Overall for food wise 9 out of 10, service 8 out of 10. It's very frustrating that the employees don't inform you that the address is wrong and that they're not inside the mall, telling me you're inside Johnny Carino's is no help if I can't find Johnny Carinos. The freaking address is wrong, fix it! It's a digital era, it can't be that hard. We just spent 15 minutes walking inside the mall and 4 calls later discovered they're inside Johnny Carinos, which is completely separate from the mall, on the opposite side of the parking mall. Everything was great! I was greeted by smiles and welcoming attitudes. I was quickly seated despite the fact that there was a nice size crowd for a Wednesday night. I was able to order from both restaurants Johnny carinos and famous Dave's , so everyone in my party was satisfied. Our service was so slow 15 minutes to place drink order. Another 10 minutes before the drinks came. We ordered at 3:05 and didn't get our food until3:45 and Mac and cheese was cold. She added coleslaw to my sandwich when I distinctly told her NO when she asked her mistake she said but still charge me 2.49 for her mistake. All food was like warm at best. Service was horrible we were rushed out am not sure why they even let us be seated if they were closing. They ran out of most of the food when we came in we basically have no options to chose from. The employees kept passing and staring like they wanted us to leave right away. If they where closing they should of just informed us since the entrance. We went in for happy hour where the menu said half off appetizers. Food was fine. When we got out check the bill didn't reflect the half off appetizers. When we asked the server about it he stater the items we chose were not included in the half off and said it showed that on the menu. Now it did show in very fine print but not to where it was very noticable. When we asked the manager about it she said there was nothing she can do since we paid half cash and card. The customer service in that sense made it to where we will never come back again. If something is not half off it should not be included in the happy hour menu. Called and was told They're completely out of chicken. A hostess should've asked if we wanted more of the other entree or refund. I gave you a 1star because it took forever to get our drinks. Then when the guy took our orders it took 30 minutes to get our food. Myself and daughter in law ordered a side salad either out meal. The server brought hers and 10 minutes later I had to ask for mine. Then it was forever to get our meals. My husband & son's chicken was cooked really pretty on the outside but very bloody inside I mean raw! I cut into my steak and could not chew it. It was super touch and I ordered it medium rare. Then again my daughter in law and I ordered red garlic mashed potatoes I had to ask him for them. Finally he brought our corn muffins half way through our meal. The server was outstanding he was on top of his game he checked our drinks frequently and asked if we needed anything else every time . I hope when we return I get the guy with all the tattoos. My coworkers and I placed a +$100 order for lunch. First, we HAD to add tip. Wouldn't let us checkout otherwise. The salads had barely any meat. Rib tips were inedible. They forgot to include everyone's cornbread. Our sever Daniel was great and had a great knowledge of the menu and had good recommendations as it was our first time eating here.
