Great takeout! JP Asian Fusion is always fantastic. I ordered takeout for my family and was impressed by how well the food traveled. Everything was packaged securely. The food that was supposed to be warm stayed warm and the cold rolls stayed cold. There were plenty of soy sauce packets, chop sticks, napkins, and fortune cookies provided too. Everything tasted great. The food was super fresh fresh, saucy, and flavorful. The rice was perfectly fluffy. Insanely delicious! When I ordered at around noon on a Saturday, it was super quiet and empty. I was literally the only person in there. It was rather dark in there with some subtle music playing. Every dish was bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. The noodles had the ideal texture, and the sauces were rich without being overpowering. The music is very nice and soft like piano music in the background lively and it has a nice bar in the center and tables all around and everyone seems to be very happy with their food. When we sat down, we were greeted at the front door and someone came and took us to our table immediately. When the food arrived, you gotta go and look at these pictures of our food. If I had to use a word to describe how beautiful it was, I'd say the food looked sexy. It tasted really good. It wasn't over salted. All the produce was fresh. The prawns weren't overcooked. The wontons were amazing. I really enjoyed this meal and I ate slowly so I'd have a little bit to take home. I also had them in the war wonton to add noodles to it to give me a little extra. Large restaurant in the corner of the Costco parking lot. Lots of choices with Thai, Chinese and Japanese food. Came right after 2:30 pm and their lunch specials just ended unfortunately. Friend got lemon chicken which was chicken katsu with lemon sauce. I got the sashimi and sushi combo which was pricey for the amount but the pieces of sashimi were quite large though the slices of fish on the nigiri were tiny. Service was ok. So this place was just okay for me. Staff was nice. Interior is nice, looks clean and looks like it's safe to eat. It's pretty big so we got seated right away. Had a few questions about the menu and our server wasn't quite (maybe he was new, it was fine). We ordered quite a bit of food. I like their menu, it had many options so we wanted to try a variety of what they had to offer. We got our food items one at a time. Unfortunately, we had gotten most of our food but we were done eating when they still had not brought out our chow fun. We asked the server and he said it was almost done. We waited another 12 minutes after we asked our server )which is also when we were done eating everything else) before we got our chow fun. We werent in a hurry so we didnt ask them to cancel it, plus we wanted to see if the chow fun actually had flavor or if it was like the rest of the food. It was okay but wasnt as flavorful as other restaurants. Honestly, it looked better than it tasted. For example, we ordered the creamy spicy shrimp and unfortunately it was far from creamy. It was essentially just fried shrimp (had little flavor itself) with a drizzle of sauce on top. It was not "creamy" at all like the picture on the menu. Maybe had they added more sauce we would have found it acceptable. The appetizers, the jalapeno poppers and the edamame were nothing special. Unfortunately they lacked flavor. Went to get food today and asked if they could do bbq pork in my chow mein instead of shredded pork, even emphasized that I was willing to pay the difference but they weren't able to fulfill my request .. I found that quite strange considering I'm willing to pay the difference and they already offer bbq pork in their fried rice. I DO NOT blame the girl taking the order (she was kind enough to ask the chef so for that I thank her) , I entirely blame the chef for providing me unsatisfactory service today. I use to enjoy coming here but if they can't do a simple switch I'll be going elsewhere so props to the chef for loosing a customer. I ordered a honey walnut shrimp, Mongolian beef, and veggie fried rice. The fried rice was tasty with a fresh variety of veggies. The Mongolian beef tasted ok but I was surprised at the texture of the beef. It was chewy. Definitely not a good sign. The walnut shrimp which tastes consistent among any Asian establishment was underwhelmingly sweet. The white sauce as did the shrimp was fried and oozing oils and so flavorless. Hello We ate here today. The food was good. But had a bad experience with the waiter. I went to pay at the front desk. So i give him my card. I left him no tip because we normally like to leave that cash. When i went back to the table to get my wife. We realize we had no cash for the tip. Our waiter was behind me i was not sure why he handed me my bill back telling me if i would like to give him a tip. To be honest i did want to leave him one but after that pushy move he did on us i felt we should not. He still handed me my check back to i can change the numbers. I ended up leaving him something . Horrible staff. Very unprofessional to see wait staff all sitting at the bar area on their phones. Sitting at table while 4 of the wait staff are all sitting down scrolling on their phones drinking soda's. Waiter came to table, took our drink orders, we asked to place our food order and was told to wait. Comes back wiirh drinks. and ask what we want. We say thank you and he just walks off in disgust. Brings food and just walks off. At the end of meal, leaves check,and again walks off. I've been to this place three times in the last week alone so there's a bunch of pics from those visits. Came with my dad once and now me and my wife several times who is allergic to fish. Go figure, right? We're regulars now! Here's another place where people astound me with their ridiculous negative reviews. Maybe don't take your family of 20, and the service wouldn't be so slow. This restaurant is excellent. Granted they can get busy on the weekends and service is slower, but what place isn't? The food is excellent. I love sushi, so my meals tend to be sushi or nigiri. The edamame at any place is how you know what the place will be like. The edamame here is amazing. Freshly made with fresh garlic. WOW! The sashimi cold and thick slices. We then ordered and shortly thereafter got our rolls. All rolls tasted very good and nicely presented.... Not overly riced either.... This is one of our stops before we go to Costco.
