I was told by their customer service if I find a cheaper price online they would match it. I did find the items much cheaper online and when I sent sportsman's the proof, they would not beat the prices and changed their story yet another time. I would also like to add the sportsman's credit card charges 33% interest and they charge $3.50 per month if you choose not to go paperless. Sportsman's charges higher prices if you order through them online. Their in store prices are cheaper, so when sportsman's offers you a discount ( online only) your not getting a discount. They raise the prices online then offer consumers who open a card a discount. I've gone into the sportsman's store in Bend Oregon looked at a safe with a sign saying on sale with the original price of .99 cents higher than the sale price. Honestly just stay away from sportsman's and save money.

They would not return them because they were worn. No dirt, no marks but they did ask me if I wore them and I said I did. They told me at that point, they cannot return them and asked if I had contacted Adidas. My response is why would I talk to Adidas when I bought them from you. I bought them the week prior. Apparently they have a policy not to allow returns on worn shoes. These had less than 20 minutes of wear on them. They refuse to return them. In this case, I would say you're only as good as your return policy and I would not recommend buying anything at Dick's Sporting Goods. The manager was very rude and Direct that since I admitted that I wore them, she could not accept return. Not a great policy in these times, from the sounds of some of the other comments, customer service is a problem for Dick's Sporting Goods.

Eventually a manager came to help her and the two of them continued to work on whatever the issue was. The original cashier just stood there, doing nothing at all. Now those of us in line have been there at least 20 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement by anyone anywhere. We customers may as well been invisible. I knew there were at least 2 more workers in the store, one in the back corner straightening out the clearance racks (hardly a priority when you have customers waiting for 20+ minutes to purchase their items). I understand that there can be issues at the register, no prob. But the utter lack of acknowledging the customers, thanking them for their patience, or proactively calling another employee to help at the cash registers was epic in the utter disregard for customers. I love Columbia but wow, better training is absolutely needed!

I took the shoes in hoping to exchange them but was told only the manager could do that and they didn't see a reason why she wouldn't. I bought a second pair and the same thing happened in 3-4 days. I took both pairs to the store when the manager was in and she almost immediately told me I was doing something to cause this like hooking my feet on something? I felt she was a little aggressive. She refused an exchange/refund and suggested I contact Hoka directly. I did and received a full refund. As it turns out, that is a known issue and something they addressed when designing the Gaviota 4. I thought the employees at this store were very knowledgeable and helpful. The manager's attitude will be what keeps me from shopping there.
