I took the shoes in hoping to exchange them but was told only the manager could do that and they didn't see a reason why she wouldn't. I bought a second pair and the same thing happened in 3-4 days. I took both pairs to the store when the manager was in and she almost immediately told me I was doing something to cause this like hooking my feet on something? I felt she was a little aggressive. She refused an exchange/refund and suggested I contact Hoka directly. I did and received a full refund. As it turns out, that is a known issue and something they addressed when designing the Gaviota 4. I thought the employees at this store were very knowledgeable and helpful. The manager's attitude will be what keeps me from shopping there.

I told the associate what I was needing and she brought out a pair of Ecco sandals and encouraged me to try them. I turned up my nose because they were NOT the style I was looking for, but I tried them on to humor her. Holy smokes they were my saving grace! I wore them every day of my trip with little to no foot pain. That is something for someone with falling arches, internal pronation, and plantar fasciitis. I appreciated the knowledge and gentle encouragement to try something I didn't think I wanted, but definitely needed! I will be back!

It's a small mall (say that 5 times fast) so not a ton of stores, but they were pretty decent. The food court leaves a lot to be desired. The only thing we found for food was Big Town Hero, but it was actually pretty good. We went to Target here, as well as Bath and Body Works, and Old Navy. It's not a mall we go to often, but I'm not opposed to it. I like it. But it's in Albany, and I live in Eugene. It's definitely clean, there's some pretty good stores. There's the same stores much closer to me, but I have to say I like the employees at the ones in Albany better. So I am definitely impressed there. I know I'll be back the next time I'm in the area.

I didn't know they discriminated against parents for bringing little kids to the play area (the play structures there are for babies and toddlers , ironic . ) I would beware if bringing your little ones to play in the play area there you may get heckled by the teenage kids they have working as security guards
