Earned a bunch of points…read more The manager on duty (I hope to God it wasn't the store manager) was as rude as I've ever seen in a manager. She was short, acted like an exchange was an inconvenience, so rude I was tempted to just return the shoes completely and tell her where she could put them! I also bought two more pairs, when I told her I had $15 in points to redeem, she said since she couldn't "see" them in her system, I couldn't use them. I mean what's the point of a rewards program if you can't use the points?! I love the shoes but will not be returning to this location - all she was doing was modeling poor customer service to her employees. The store was also very unorganized and they weren't even busy.

I was hoping to find boots. I found a pair at Park Meadows, but they weren't quite perfect. I did find a pair of loafers and a pair of booties at this store. The vibe here is weirdly depressing. I think that it's the yellowish lighting, maybe? Also, oddly, there was only ONE MK bootie--the left--in the box, and it had a security tag on it. I had to find an employee (possibly the manager?) to ask for the other shoe, since I can only wear a shoe on my right. She said to give her the left so she could swap them, then said, "Oh, never mind, it has a security tag." Very peculiar. Have never seen that in any other DSW, even on $400 Stuart Weitzmans. I ended up buying them. It would have been annoying to go and find her to retrieve the left shoe. Also, there aren't enough seats to try on shoes, nor mirrors. Park Meadows is much better equipped. The cashier was cheerful and friendly, so this visit ended on a happy note.

It is packed with all the essential supplies for the runners from shoes, clothing, suppliers and gears and more. I have been to this location several times and the workers are very attentive every time I walk into this store. Finally bought the necessary running gear that is not sold anywhere else. Walk in and you will be greeted immediately. Clothing are to the left, accessories at the front and middle and shoes to the back right and some more gears. To the left side has the clearance items and if you happen to have that odd sized foot, you might be in for a treat. This location carries all the cool and newest running gears that you need. I will be back to get the "On" shoes I have been eyeing on. Maybe the new Nike that is hard to find else where. While I had good luck with the staff and selection at the Colorado Boulevard Runner's Roost location many years ago, I now live closer to this Foxfield location, so I went there. All of the shoes they sell are good quality, and they certainly sell them at a large markup. I think that's OK if you have a knowledgeable salesperson. I did not. It made for a bad outcome, and now I'm stuck with $150 shoes that don't fit. I don't want to call him out by name, but my salesman didn't know what he was doing. At times, I don't think he could hear or understand me. He just sorta' talked. Honestly, I should have walked out when he measured my 9/9.5 foot as an 11. In retrospect, it was obvious that this wasn't going to end well. He brought out tons of 11's, and then at my request, 10.5 and 10's. I really needed a 9.5. After trying a bunch, I found one pair of 10's that was pretty good and bought it. When he checked the fit, he told me that they were too small and that, "I wouldn't want to run a marathon in them." I wore them around the house for a couple of days to try to make sure they fit, but that's not much of a test. I bought the shoes quickly so that when I walked around Disney World this week, my feet would feel better. The shoes helped with my plantar fasciitis, but they're too big for me, and they give me blisters. Understandably, they don't let you return shoes that are not in new condition, so I'm stuck with them. Some of this is my fault for not walking out of the store immediately, and I did buy the shoes. That said, I'm extremely disappointed with the outcome. To have such a clueless salesperson at an expensive shoe store is ridiculous. Again, their products are available cheaper elsewhere, so the only value the store can provide is quality customer service. Please save your money and go have a better experience somewhere else.

The store is easy to shop, checkout is fast, and the restrooms are open and accessible instead of being locked. I am bummed they stopped caring my favorite from Neutrogena, the sesame oil lotion. Their customer service and staff is impeccable and what you would expect at Nordstrom. This location is set off from the Park Meadows mall but parking can get busy if you want up front parking. My only complaint is the alteration service. The seamstress Nila is incredible and very talented. She's warm and friendly as well as efficient. I have confidence in her sewing skills. However, the pricing is confusing as well as not clearly displayed or explained. We took shirts to be tailored but some were $38 and others $78. It totaled over $600... A bit much for my usual needs. While they offer alterations for non Nordstrom items, the price is just a bit outrageous. Desiree, one of the managers, was kind and understanding in letting us cancel our order and the return process was stress free and quick. Overall, I still feel love for this location, the staff and the cute things I snag on each shopping spree. I'm a kid at heart and an irresponsible adult at the checkout counter here.

I like the belts with the bling on them, the wristlets, the cute boots. So many clothing styles and hats to select from. I wandered around and admired the boots. Then I saw something I couldn't live without - a carrying bag for my boots. How did I not know these existed? I've been carrying around my boots in chintzy plastic shopping bags. Now they can be protected when I travel. I also picked up some warm gloves for Christmas gifts. And I found some mink oil for my boots. All in all a productive unexpected visit.

I just lVE when the employee's greet me as I walk in. I feel as if they are waiting just for me. I browse for a few minutes, have my hands full with items to try on and I'm approached by Dana who was eager to help me with my shopping experience. So many styles, sizes and colors to choose from. She showed me all the sales, the mark down racks and most important she set me up in a fitting room to try on all my items. Dana even ask if I was doing okay or if I needed any other sizes. I was indeed of an additional size that the store did not carry. I paid for the item and Dana said the correct size and color woukd be shipped to me. Also she mentioned that I would receive an email after the item was shipped. I received my order to the date that was stated. Then she printed the receipt for the items I purchased in house and showed me how to enter into a drawing for a chance to win a gift card and a survey to complete about your visit. Kudos to the Manger and owner for providing and understanding how customer works. What a great experience again!
