The Chicken Fattoush Salad has very little redeeming qualities and lacks proper seasoning. Quality is greater than Quantity. Salad veggies and chicken cut very large to avoid work. No sumac seasoning in the dressing and felt like I was pouring only oil without vinegar over salad. Pita and dressing seemed to have no salt. Wish I drove to Dearborn Heights for a good salad. I ordered the whole deboned chicken which came with rice & a small salad. The total came to $25 dollars. The meal came with 6 small pieces of chicken there was a good amount of rice & a small salad. The chicken was overcooked & didn't have flavor. The rice & salad was good. I would recommend trying this food to see if you like it. I was craving some tabbouli so I ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash. This version didn't have any mint in it which did please me, I don't really like mint too much. It was flavorful and fresh; the medium portion was huge too! It took up an entire regular size takeout container. I ordered the lentil soup to go with it but they were out, so the hummus was swapped in for it free of charge. Came back because of a good experience prior, however this experience was very poor. Basically the food is not fresh. My lentil soup looked liked it was in the fridge and they microwaved it in the styrofoam container. The styrofoam container was slightly disfigured and the soups consistency reminded me of tapioca pudding. Gross. Definitely not the soup I had at previous occasions. She was talking about me rudely (and loudly) to another woman who came in. (I guess she thought she was being quiet enough.) The women server also mentioned that the owner (cook) was slow. F.S. just opened and we decided to give it a try. It's a small location with several tables and counter service. They were very friendly and helpful with my order. I ordered carry out and the wait was about 30 minutes. They ran out of Rice Pilaf and I got Lentils and Rice mix for a substitute. It's not something I'm used to. Next time I'll come back when they have the Pilaf. A Chicken Tawook Sandwich was pretty good and the Lentil Soup was tasty, but a little cold for my liking. After waiting while the incredibly s-l-o-w counterperson took the order of people who actually got there AFTER us, he just casually passed by us telling us he was sorry, but they were closed. At first I thought he had to be kidding, but he wasn't. This place is trash, accidentally placed an order for pick up instead of delivery, after trying to call and ask them to change it and getting the busy line sound for a half hour I went up there. Their phones where off the hook and didn't seem to work... Food is just average and their service is trash, I would recommend any of the other 20 Mediterranean food places in the area before this place. I have only been here once, but had a good experience. My husband and I split a combo plate of chicken, rice, fattoush and baba ghanoush. Everything was very tasty, and we especially liked the baba ghanoush. I brought home a spinach pie to eat later, but was not overly impressed. Not to say it wasn't good, I just have had better. I received a message from the new owner after I left a bad review asking me to come in and give them another chance. I did just that and I told the owner before I ordered that I was a yelper and I came back in to review his food again and his response was okay. I ordered a chicken schwarma sandwich, a smoothie, a side of garlic and baklava. There was some positives to my visit but also some negative but enough to change my one star into a 2 star. The main feature the chicken schwarma was just terrible worse this time than the first time. While he tried to over stuff it with chicken it didn't make up for the fact that the chicken was tasteless with no seasoning what so ever and completely dry I absolutely hated it and only had three bites before it was tossed. The one plus is that he said he would put anything on it that i wanted instead of the traditional pickle which I do like unless they are to sour but I gotta have that tomato on there. It also doesn't come toasted which is a peeve of mine, I make my own chicken schwarma and this extra step only takes a minute. Now on the positive the garlic is good maybe a tad strong but I don't mind it that way. The baklava I love but I'm pretty sure a vendor brings it to all the Mediterranean restaurants because it looks and tastes the same at each place and it comes in the same containers I guess I could be wrong but I love it none the less. Ordered a Saji Sandwich, which is sorta like a Shawarma but has a sauce on it. Well, why was the sauce just ITALIAN DRESSING?! Why! No tomato, and it says, "With tomato." No garlic sauce, and it's says, "With garlic sauce." And it was just a 1 and a half inch slice of chicken inside. No love. Another guy ran the place before these people and the food was the best around this area. People always in there eating, and coming and going with pick up orders. Now these people are the new management and the food is garbage. It's nothing like it was. When you walk in, it doesn't even smell of food being cooked like before. Plus the lady that took our order had the worst attitude ever, not that a better attitude would have made this horrible version of this food taste better. While waiting for my food she was placing a phone order, and told them to call back in 5 minutes to get the total. My husband and I were the only two in there. So with that I will have to say, don't even look on that side of the road when driving by. Just keep on driving, go home and try and make it yourself.
