We purchased 4 appliances from Famous Tates in Springhill. Danny was the salesman he informed us because of Covid some appliances would take awhile to get delivered. We received the Microwave 1st had it installed by our builder Then came the Dishwasher which was installed by the Plumber. Then after a few months we received the GE Stainless Steel Refrigerator. It had 2 dents on of the doors, the delivery service told us to call Famous Tates, which I did and spoke to Danny. He informed me that I needed to call GE service to get it repaired. With no help from Danny I spent my time getting GE Service to come out and replace the door. Now we have a GE 2 oven range, we had it 4 months and the temperature probe in the lower oven was not working. I called Danny who gave us any direction and again I spent my time getting ahold of the service department. They came out and replaced a circuit board,and continued to have problems with the oven. I called Danny at Famous Tates in Springhill, and informed him of the recurring problem with the oven..his reply to me was "we sell appliances we dont service them" Then he said to me that I should have purchased an extended warranty and I wouldn't have this problem. Since Danny sold us our appliances and paid for them upfront, he got his commission and I fels we were not important to him anymore. I then researched and called the GE Consumer Center and spoke with Amanda she was concerned about my issue she looked into the problem and told me that she would get back to me. I then called the store and spoke with the manager ( Jane) I explained how unprofessional Danny handled my issue and she apologized for his response and she would look into my complaint. Two days later no return phone call, so I called the store and spoke to Jane the store manager. When I asked what was being done with my Oven, she replied "Refresh my memory and what was the issue" I knew she forgot about my issue. The GE Consumer Center really helped me out and the local store doesn't care about the customer after the sale. Sad Very Sad Stay away from this store they want your business, but do not care after the purchase. read more

I did my research and ordered a fridge online. Lynn called the next day to confirm order and let me know that with Covid it would take much longer than usual, likely a couple months. I already knew this because I did shop around. She kept in contact with me for the next 5 weeks and told me in the beginning or March that they finally had a confirmed date of May to receive order. She then called 3 weeks later to say they had the fridge and it was ready for delivery much earlier than expected. Delivery guys showed up on time and took care of install and removal. They were very polite and got the job done quickly. They even cleaned the floor under the fridge before installing the new one. Excellent!!! AAA+++ read more

I looked online and Famous Tate had the best prices and I found a refrigerator I liked but needed next day delivery so I called the store closest to my new home and both of the CSRs I spoke with were very nice and helpful. They found me a refrigerator that was even better than the one I had seen online, for the same price, and were able to get it delivered the next day! The guys who delivered were on time and very professional and the one who set up the refrigerator even went above and beyond to get the water line connected right (previous owner had rigged it weird under kitchen sink) so I would say they are top-notch all the way around! read more

My family and I have been shopping at Tates, Spring Hill Florida forever. We have purchased multiple beds, washer, dryers, and other appliances. Most recently, we had to purchase a new washer quickly. We needed affordable and fast delivery. We ordered online, with a little help from the online chat guy. Had our washer delivered within a couple of days. Very happy with the service as well as the washer. Famous Tate was great. I had a video chat at first getting help and advice on an adjustable bed. He then took my number and had my Iocal store call me. After further discussion the employee made an in person appointment to see the product. We ordered the adjustable bed. Delivery was on time and sent me phone links as to the trucks whereabouts.
