I got a run around about how. I would need to deal with the discomfort sleeping on the mattress. Until I broke it in which would take 60-90 days. Long enough for the warranty to run out. Well now it's BROKE IN 4 months later. Its still uncomfortable to sleep on, I had to get a mattress pad to give it some comfort. Now after 4 months, it has a dent in it, see pictures. I got a new mattress for my son who is only two. This company beat the best price we found and guaranteed next day pick up. This is where the good part ends The salesmen was very pushy, tried to push another size mattress on us. We told him every time no. When he rung up the sale, he made a simple error. He made a full size mattress and a queen box spring. The next day when no one called us to pick up the mattress I called the store. I spoke to my salesmen. He started off by saying the truck wasn't in yet, then changed his story to he called my wife but didn't have a number for her. At this point he became angry and aggressive. He yelled at me, saying he upgraded it to a queen and that I was ungreatful. I told him we could not use a queen. He then changed his story again to the warehouse sent the wrong one. I told him that he made a mistake and it was on the receipt as one full and one queen. It was a simple mistake and I was not mad. Again he became combative, yelled at me and said he did not care what size I ordered. I told him it was for my son. He replied I don't give a damn about your kid. I then asked for his manager, he refused and said he was the manager. Knowing this was not true, I hung up on him and called another store. I was then put in contact with an area manager, who was almost as rude. He did not want to give me a refund and told me to stop bitching. This is more then rude, it is unprofessional and unacceptable behavior, both from an employee and a manager. We decided to go over and see what they had. Darrell Vidas, the Store Manager, was extremely helpful in deciding what mattress we should be looking for. We tested a few and when he saw us laying sideways, he said we'd be better with a pillow top. We ended up purchasing the pillow top along with an adjustable frame. The Delivery gentlemen were extremely courteous and acted very professional. They took away our mattress, as well as our old box spring and set up our new bed very quickly. It took us a few nights to settle in as to what pitch we wanted our head at. Once we had that figured out, we've had nothing but restful nights of sleep. Avoid Home of Foam - Dishonest Business Practices & Unprofessional Owner…read more I had an absolutely terrible experience with Home of Foam and its owner, Jaime Sullivan. When I purchased my Nectar Premier Hybrid mattress, I was promised top-tier customer service and a "Forever Warranty" that would cover any manufacturer defects. Unfortunately, those promises turned out to be completely empty. Warranty Nightmare & Bait-and-Switch Over a year later, my mattress stitching started coming undone, so I followed the proper warranty process and submitted all required documentation directly to Nectar. My claim was approved (I have email proof), and I was told to contact Home of Foam for a replacement. After speaking with Jaime Sullivan, he assured me that he would handle my claim. I patiently waited over three months, only to find out that: Jaime downgraded my replacement to a cheaper model. He then tried to charge me $699 plus tax for the correct one at first but i declined. on delivery day, the delivery team suddenly demanded another $500--right at my doorstep. This was never mentioned before, and it felt like nothing more than a bait-and-switch scam. Owner's Attempt to Humiliate Me Instead of Fixing the Issue When I refused to pay these unexpected charges, the owner completely changed his story and tried to justify his actions by making false claims about my original mattress. He accused me of urinating on my mattress, which is completely false and an obvious attempt to humiliate me rather than address the actual issue. I am 27 years old, with no children, and I provided clear photos of my mattress--the same ones Nectar approved. The fact that he fixated on the word "urine" when other liquids exist is a clear sign that he's trying to shame customers instead of solving problems. Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Not Worth Your Time Home of Foam stalls, misleads, and refuses to honor its commitments. They attempt to squeeze extra money from customers after already approving claims. Instead of resolving issues, the owner resorts to false accusations and personal attacks. They copied and pasted their aggressive response to my complaint from my Google review, showing they care more about protecting their reputation than fixing real problems. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Nectar, and I strongly warn others to stay away from this shady business. Went to see him because, ironically, he's the only game in town that will buy used furniture and we were trying to liquidate my mother's estate. During our initial visit, he had the gall to brag to myself and my husband about all the families he's managed to con out of households full of furniture, he literally has warehouses full (his words). He regaled us with a story about how some of his recent victims (an elderly couple) were paid only a fraction (less than $700) for a 2,000 sqft house FULL of furniture. He told us it was quality pieces and some antiques. He then bragged that locals don't appreciate the antiques he acquires and sells, but he usually makes a killing on reselling items at triple the cost he paid to others who visit from out-of-state. His other "stories" included a brush with cancer and how he's "a born again Christian" because of it. These are merely tactics used to pray on peoples sympathies in order to gain their trust. However, to our family he's nothing more than a hypocrite. I was also shocked how similar our experience was to another reviewer. He doesn't show up himself, he actually sends his son who arrived with his partner and well past our agreed upon time. Son took photos, criticized the furniture and said he had to call Steve. Once he did, he tells Steve the furniture isn't how it was described. This happened even though Steve had been shown previous pictures, flaws had been described in detail and a purchase price was agreed upon with a hand-shake agreement. We were understandably upset by this point because we were leaving in two days and didn't have time to find another company. I was then handed the phone to talk to Steve. Once on the phone he proceeded to yell, made deeming and nasty comments about my 82 year old mother's inability to maintain her furniture, called us liars and then accused us of stealing his business clients. In our case, we were also having a yard sale at the time and apparently one of his clients showed up and purchased a bed from us (btw, not something that we had even offered to him). Apparently, they were happier to buy our bed than to overspend and pay $1,800 for a king-sized bed from his re-sale shop. The person at some point must have called him and said they no longer needed the king bed, because they just bought a queen bed. This is what he referred to as "stealing his business". Really? I wasn't running a business, it was a yard sale. I don't know about most people, but I also don't screen the folks buying at my yard sale to see if they're a customer of Steve's. After he rudely hung up on me, his son then proceeds to walk through my mother's hoand tries to look at the furniture with the intent on low balling us with an offer of $300 for everything. I threatened to call the local sheriff and told them to get off the property. Come to find out from neighbors and others, that he's "known for his deplorable business practices". I can not understand how anyone could ever be satisfied with his services let alone how this man is still in business. My recommendation is if you're looking to sell a fair amount of furnishings, try to work with a reputable Estate Sale company if you can. If you're looking to buy from him, just be forewarned that his prices are way too high, he's basically "stolen" the furniture from unsuspecting elderly clients and his business practices are far from reputable.
