Heather was a big help today. Since my house is about 40 years old, my refrigerator is shorter than the ones you can buy at Home Depot or Lowe's. So I went to famous Tate. Met Heather she was very knowledgeable about all of the refrigerators they had and had one exactly like the one I was replacing. It's a decent deal. She treated me respectfully and very nicely and I think I got a good value price was not too expensive and should be here in a couple of days. Ha! What a joke! I left my review and you people took it down!! Truth usually hurts! We spent over 7 grand on our purchases. The sales people are all sweet and helpful in the store..oh but as soon as your money is happily taken.. when the problems were had.. all of a sudden Bill, was the person we dealt with now, he is all of a sudden ,not helpful. We ordered top notch appliances. We've been waiting for the trim kit for the face of the microwave. ( someone forgot to order it) So for the last 4 months we've been waiting and waiting, it is their responsibility to check on this order. previously, I left a review on yelp about this business at this location. Since that time, I decided to remove my Poor review, due to reaching out to this business, and dealing directly with the manager of the location. Update; since Famous Tate had the product that we greatly wanted, following our initial poor interaction at the store with a particular Sales Associate, I called the Tampa location to schedule an appointment to drive the distance and purchase our desired product. An associate in Tampa suggested that I contact the manager at the Springhill location, and spoke highly of the SH manager. which we did after speaking with her on the phone. I set up a time and my husband and I went in, met with and actually purchased the adjustable bed that we want. Dealing directly with Jayne, the store's manager was so pleasant and informative, indicative of past interactions with, and was the type of service that we were seeking initially. I fully understood that the particular product that we were wanting to buy could not be discounted any further due to distributorship agreements, however, Manager Jayne was awesome and sharing with us about rebates that we were unaware of from our initial visit. Therefore, we were able to buy the adjustable bed system that we desired and enjoy some cost reductions via rebates from the manufacturer. Long story short, this experience has taught us that when we have a bad or negative interaction with a sales associate at any business in the future, reach out to the store manager directly and see if they will assist you to make sure a customer is Professionally cared for and satisfied when they leave the business. Again, we enjoyed the information, sales, and being fully educated, regarding the product that we were buying. Our experience was such a positive Experience that we ended up buying a brand new set of washer dryer appliances that we had not even planned on purchasing yet. It was something we were considering later, however, due to Manager Jayne, we decided to order this laundry pair at the same visit. She went above and beyond to ensure a smooth purchase, and we greatly appreciate her effort. We are excited and anticipating delivery of the products that we have ordered. read more

I have had an absolutely miserable experience with this famous tape. I'm building a new house and bought all of my appliances from the Springhill store. My sales person, Mark Ditzel was extremely helpful during the sales process. However, he dropped the ball big-time when it came to delivery. The first time they came out to deliver my stuff, the delivery guys refused to carry my refrigerator, and my microwave/oven combo up the stairs. Yes, they were temporary stairs, but all of my granite, and all of my cabinets were carried up those same stairs. Once the permanent stairs were installed, I called for someone to come back out and move that to the second floor like they were supposed to do the first time. Marc told me he would have to charge me a service fee and I was able to talk him out of that. Two very nice young men came out to move my refrigerator upstairs. They both exclaimed disgust that the first delivery guys didn't do it. These two young men were rail thin and had no issues whatsoever carrying the refrigerator up the stairs. However, since the first guys had taken the oven out of the box, these two young men were not able to move it. They called their supervisor and I got on the phone with him and was told that somebody would be at my house Saturday morning to move the oven and the microwave upstairs. I have not received a confirmation Email or text to let me know of a delivery window. I called the store this afternoon and no one could give me any information. This is absolutely beyond ridiculous that it is taking three different Crews and too many phone calls to count and I still don't have my appliances up where they're supposed to be. My salesman definitely dropped the ball by not seeing this all the way through to the end. Not once has he called me to see if things were done. I highly recommend avoiding the store and if this is the way the company works avoid the company altogether. read more

Mike was very professional, well versed in all the various models available and what they were capable of. Service was fast and efficient, literally had my new fridge within 48hrs installed. I purchased a $2,000 mattress and box spring set that I picked out in the store. It was a deluxe pillow top, but what they delivered feels like a rock. I have given it time to "break in" but I really hate it. I really wish I had returned it within the 30 days, but kept hoping I would adjust. It's been over a year and my body hurts every night from this horrible expensive bed. I feel like they gave me a different bed and I got cheated. Soon I will get a new one, from somewhere else! Horrendous. We purchased top of the line refrigerator, range, OTR microwave and dishwasher. Pricing was fine, but delivery was abismal and incompetent. They missed the delivery date, then resheduled... but only had the dishwasher, then resncheduled again. When the finally showed up, the infomred us that they don't know how to instrall dishwashers or OTR microwaves. That was part of the "delivery and installation" package. Salesperson, Mike Sullivan, claims, "he thought we knew that and had arranged to have a professional available for the installation. That is not only dishonest, it would have been impossible, since they missed two other delivery dates. We thought it would be good to buy local. We learned that Tate is not Famous for honest, service or integrity. Those are the top three items in my list of improtance, so we won't be back and I hope you find somewhere to purchase appliacnes that values your business and treats you honestly. read more

After buying 4 complete kitchens from Famous Tate, as a result of the experience today, I will never spend another dime in any of their stores. The store manager Jane was unconcerned and interrupted me the entire call. The delivery supervisor Keith did the exact same thing. No one accepted any responsibility or accountability for the complete disaster regarding delivery and both pointed fingers at the other one. Not how you keep business or get recommendations. My entire day was wasted on this, which cost me wages having to sit around and be lied to about why the delivery was delayed, what they were told, and on and on. Horrible customer service all the way around. I guess they dont care about repeat business. I ended up having to refuse delivery on the refrigerator and I will be buying another one somewhere else. So between the store manager and delivery supervisor, you all cost your store over 3K and no repeat business ever again. read more

If you paid attention to the review you would see that I noticed the damage at the time of delivery. Is not Famous Tate's responsible for the delivery of the appliances??? What is the responsibility of your store managers? If a customer has a issue with a sales person, and tells you that they will look into it, does not call you back, then after 2 days you check in with the store manager and her response is " Refresh my memory " " what was the problem " if you have that many complaints or issues you need to organize your management staff. your response is LAME at best, I have discouraged 3 people from buying products from Famous Tate's and I will continue to increase that number in the future. Let me suggest that you and your TEAM attend a Customer Service Class to help out with the POOR customer service you have provided to this issue and probably others who have not posted on Yelp and Google. read more

Two days ago my mother purchased a New washer . It was delivered today While she was at work. Her neighbor let the delivery people in and out and also gave them a ten dollar tip For doing so. When my Mother got home she noticed that they installed the washer on top of hangers That had fallen behind the washer.. So she pulled Alta hangers from underneath the washer that was justin stalled and did a Load of laundry .. Now it doesn't work.. This is my go to place for appliances and mattresses. We have rebought all our appliances here the past 20 years. And just bought our second temperpeadic mattress here yesterday. The sales people are knowledgeable. There is never any pressure to buy and they are willing to take the time to go over all options. There is always a great selection of items for any price range. They offer free delivery and set up. And for $7 take away my old mattress. The delay very is fast. In most cases the next day. When they deliver they give you a time frame and call when on their way. My husband and I went to Famous Tate Spring Hill today to buy a new Washer and Dryer, I knew which machines I wanted, but after 15 minutes in the store and not one sales person come to help us and there were several sitting around talking, an older than us (we're in our 50's) couple walks in and sales was all over them. They lost my business. I will not spend my money in a store that obviously profiles their customers and saw my husband, Hispanic and me white so didn't bother to help us because they already predetermined we dont have money anyway. I am a professional business woman and make damb good money. Worst experience ever. We bought some great GE appliances here a month ago and received a follow up call from our salesman. Of course after they were delivered in my excitement we never looked closely at them and noticed a few days later a small problem with some cosmetics on the stove . I figured it was my problem after looking at the warranty and chocked it up to my not inspecting them on arrival. There warranty given from GE is for 7 days on cosmetics my loss!!! I mentioned it with our salesman and got a call from the repair service in less then an hour !!! Famous Tate's your the best !!! Sent me a used refrigerator even though we purchased allegedly a brand-new refrigerator. We found out it's used it was a floor model they were supposed to give us a brand-new unit from the warehouse.
