I went after an appointment in this area of Belmont that's a hidden jewel. Tons of businesses and parking to explore. I was seated quickly. They were busy but not too packed. It felt very local and welcoming. I ordered the potato bowl with turkey sausage and toast with a sweet tea. Both servers were great and checked on me regularly. The cook actually comes out as the food is delivered. Loved that. It was a great experience overall. My toast was a little too dark for me but he fixed it. Given the logistics I thought the staff did a great job taking orders and delivering the food. I ordered the chocolate chip pancakes with sausage and everything tasted great. My son ordered an egg white burrito with avocado which he really enjoyed. Another dish that looked amazing to me was the shrimp and grits, I wanted to try them, but at 1800 calories I passed. Me and my now wife were married on Saturday and the venue we had for Sunday brunch got cancelled at the last minute. I reached out to the manager (Summer) who even though they don't do reservations like this found it in her heart to make it happen! Our family and friends had the best experience on Sunday morning enjoying the patio with great weather and food from Summer and her staff. I cannot say enough for all they did to make this happen and to go above and beyond to celebrate us and give our loved ones a great memory that they will always have. For me and my boyfriend to wait on dirty tables to be cleaned and later sat when there were already clean tables is ridiculous. We were given our food AFTER the table that was sat after us. My food was kind of cold and our server had not approached us not ONCE to refill our drinks after being given our food. Our table was approached way after I payed and asked for a togo box. VICTORIA, is a bully who send out orders that are incorrect and asking patrons to drive an hour back to get a refund! For food I'm not going to eat is how I replied, and why would my daughter have to drive an hour back to get her money.
