Ok! Ok! Listen I'm just gonna say this once. If you don't eat here, we can't be friends! No. For real, I'm a nice guy, I add value. So... Our waitress was Tashunda, and she was wonderful. Such a wonderful server. And was a pleasure to be around. Here is the review. The bread. The BREAD. I CANT. It's not good for you, but oh it's so good for you. The pimento cheese queso was so good. Not the BREAD, but good. Our main course was the fish and grits. It was magnificent. The Duck confit with ricotta cheese ravioli with mushroom garlic cream sauce. Oh MY!!! So good. And affordable So come on in. If you want. They ain't paying me to get you here. But if they did I would wear a banana suit out in the str

Sad to write that we're no longer Fans of Fan and Jonny's. Our first visit was fantastic! The service was great and the people were lively working together. The food was amazing I had the lemon pepper shrimp, soup and the panco fried chicken (little scorched but ok) parmigiana over Alfredo angel hair pasta. The waitress was attentive, patient and friendly. Fast forward one month... The same waitress but this time she was shitty with short patients and rolling her eyes as I asked questions about the menu items. We noticed a big difference in the overall feel of the restaurant. We talked about leaving but decided to give it another go. Husband ordered the BLT po boy which came with only two strips of bacon he had to order extra bacon just to taste meat on the big bread. I ordered the same again: my panco crusted chicken breast was scorched, dry and tough. The pasta was perfect as well as my soup and shrimp. I ordered garlic fries and they were awful nasty, oil logged, limp, ugly and not golden brown and crispy. She said "They come this way." "You ordered them." Do better with all that professional chef equipment I say. Sent them back and had hellah time getting them to remove those hunted fries off the recipe. Needless to say we won't be going back. We've TikTok our experience.

Cute little restaurant in Downtown Greenwood with the sweetest waitress, Tierra. Definitely that small town place where you can sense all the locals go. The tablesan are each unique- it's like sitting at your grandmas kitchen table. We had the Nashville Hot po-boy, catfish po-boy, and the chicken salad po-boy. For dessert we got a bread pudding with rebel yell creme anglaise and the hot fudge pie with gelato. Omg-just do it! Go ahead and get the bread pudding. No words! Everything was really good- and different. Each item just has it's on unique flavor and take on the original..Even the pickle has a unique flavor (it's soaked in apple cider vinegar) Don't miss this place!

This place is awesome! The decor is so cute and right at home in the Delta. We sat by the window at lunch for lots of natural light. The service was great, our server was so friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely stellar- seriously the crawfish salad was one of the best salads I've ever eaten. The fried asparagus made it! Highly recommend.

Chosen by a local our group of 6 were well taken care of by a hard working and pleasant young server.. Teasha? I know I've got that wrong...but every recommendation she gave us was definitely a right! I enjoyed the deep Fried Turkey Po Boy, our journey all over the menu..They were busy, plates well prepared by a kitchen that is obviously over the top professional. Thank you for the excellent service and food!

Best lunch place in the delta-- if you have the chance you don't wanna miss out. From classic southern food, to seafood, and some twisty classics. Cool decor all around with smiling faces

Hell, I go to Doe's in Monroe every single time I am in Monroe. When I would profess my love for Doe's to my Mississippi friends they would always tell me: "you have to go to the Greenville location. It's the original". I figured they were right but also figured I would never be in Greenville since there are not many things to do there. But 2025 was the year that I finally made it here. We made a special stop on the way to Eureka Springs. It was everything I had hoped and I absolutely loved it. You must know that this is the original location and it is not fancy on the outside or the inside. Parking is mostly on the street and the neighborhood seems a wee bit sketchy. The building looks like an old house from the outside. Needless to say, the kids were skeptical and wondered why their dad drug them here. That continued when we walked in to the kitchen, walked through the other kitchen, and were seated in one of the rooms. One of the kids said: "I feel like I am dining at someone's house". Exactly. This place is famous! All skepticism was washed away when we got our food. A ribeye and fries for me and a fillet and fries for them to share. Both were perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and made this Doe's fan grin from ear to ear. It was a great meal I will remember forever. Was it cheap? Definitely not. For two entrees, a beer, and a tea, it was around $200 with a tip. Was it worth it to me? Hell yes. I freakin loved it. Is it worth a drive from New Orleans just to eat here? Probably not. Should you divert a road trip to eat here? Absolutely. By the way, service was exactly as you would expect. Super friendly and we were treated like regulars despite it being our first time. Also, there was a cop working outside so don't be scared.

I've come in search of breakfast and it seems I have come to the right place. I was greeted practically as soon as I sat down and presented with a menu, made aware of the breakfast special and my drink order taken. I chose The Works with 3 eggs scrambled medium add onions and cheese, 3 pieces of thick bacon, 2 sausage patties, grits and 2 small pancakes! Surprised that my feedback resulted in this level of recover I asked if the restaurant is taking care of my check or if she was. She said this was her passion and wants to make sure her guests are taken care of. I insisted I pay and explained I was there on business so I wasn't paying for it myself. After several time trying, I just said "thank you and I wished everyone cared as much." That was by far the most sincere service recovery I ever encountered and it was at the cost of the associate. Manager never game to the table. I don't recall seeing anyone that fit that description either. This is a mid to upper tier price point "nice" establishment so expectations should reflect that. Julie owned it and took one for the team. I felt horrible she felt she needed to do that. I hope she doesn't do this often. Experience not so good but I experienced worse. Food was okay to good. It is attached to the Alluvian Hotel which has been around just as long. I would say it's good to go to at least once if you're in the Greenwood MS area, if only for the history. The service is always kind but takes a LONG time to get any kind of drinks or food. The food is at best OK. I really enjoy their crawfish dip appetizer, but have had several items on the menu for entrees, including their Delta Catfish filet (the sauce was ok, and the catfish fresh but it was not flavorful), and their Spinach stuffed Manicotti (this was touted as one of their best entrees according to the waitress, but the pasta was over cooked and the flavor was nothing special; I've certainly had much better), which were both subpar. The dessert was decent, but nothing to write home about. I enjoyed their gelato, but it could have just as easily come from a jar purchased at the grocery store. TLDR: I've come to this restaurant several times now (wanted to give it a decent shot since I'm not from the area) and I would go for the history but not stay for the food. It's overpriced for the quality and the service is way too slow. Even though a few items were decent (I.e. the crawfish dip), there isn't enough there for me to sit down and have another meal. *This review is generous because it's in the middle of nowhere MS
