First all the lady was nice to me but her skills weren't there at all. I showed her the picture of the front bang that I wanted it. She cut my hair right off and it was way too short, I'm not a hair stylist but even I know after you cut off some hair and you need to trim it and make it perfect, but she didnt. I had to tell her that the band is not even, not it's too short to fix it. For the rest of hair, there was just one cut and my hair is very horizontal, just like my bangs. I'm 30 plus years old with a 5 years old hair cut. She also did the keratin treatment on me and it was nice at the shop but now after 3 days I washed me hair and it's not as smooth as before. I called and made an appointment for today at 3:30 pm. I get here at 3:20 pm only to find that they closed early at 3 pm. I bought a GroupOn and cleared my schedule for this appointment. The least they could do is call their clients and let them know they had to close early for unforseen reason. This is not how I do business. I will never use their services. read more

Update: There was a different lady there, she looked at my hair and was not happy herself. She apologized multiple times for the bad cut. She also noted some of the cut was shorter than a #2 cut. I Tipped her and she was even trying to make me take that back... I don't recall her name, I would probably it anyway. But she is there mainly on Saturday and Sunday. Been going here for a while... before it even became Fancy Cuts. Yesterday my stylist gave me the worst haircut I ever had?! I am simple.. #2 on the sides fade into a #3 on top, square off in back and over the ears. Basically the kind of cut you can do yourself with a Wahl Clipper Kit from Walmart. The hair on the back of my neck is cut so high up my neck, I feel like I just got a chilli bowl haircut, the hair on the sides of my head look like a number 3 or 4, whereas the hair on top of my head looks like a number 2?! I hope like hell they were willing to fix this, because it is totally, & I mean totally screwed the hell up! read more

The tech was nice and great haircut however I withdraw 1 star because she didn't cover all my roots when she did the highlights. I still can see my natural hair through those highlights and I had highlights when I came to see her. No one noticed the difference on my hair color -_- read more

Second time for color, this time doing highlights too. Tish knows her stuff! Will be back in 2 weeks so she can cut my naturally curly hair. I don't trust just anyone to do it, but she does a great job. $24.95 for ladies shampoo/cut w/out blow dry. Can't beat that! So glad a neighbor recommended this salon! The worst salon to go to for highlights. They completely messed up my highlights and when I mentioned it, they refused to acknowledge that they looked atrocious. It's really shocking when the customer knows more about hair than the stylist. I told the stylist that volume 20 developer wouldn't work well on my hair and guess what developer she eneded up using? Volume 20! Then she acted shocked that the color wasn't taking to my hair. I called back the next day and when I asked them to fix their mistakes, they said that it wasn't part of their job. What kind of salon is this? Extremely unprofessional. I'm honestly shocked that they're still in business. I ended up fixing their mistakes myself and my hair looks great now. I asked for sandy brown highlights and my hair is white and gray. They took 2 minutes cutting my hair for my haircut. It's the worst I've ever seen my hair look. They said they would fix it but when they did it didn't make a difference because my hair is bleached. My hair is naturally dark brown and almost black. I spent $75 and they refused to give me a refund. When I asked for one, the lady started yelling in my face and told me it was all my fault and she gave me what I asked for. Two ladies working there botched my hair, yelled in my face, and lied to me the entire time. I paid with groupon and was looking for the papers with the retrieval codes on them. The lady stole them and lied about it. When I looked for them she called the police. I found them in her hands and she refused to give them back so I grabbed it and then she tried to get my arrested. Now, I bought hair dye at the store for $10 and I'm currently dying my whole head. read more
