The lady who scheduled my appointment booked me for all over color with NO bleach out even though I specifically said half of my hair would need to be bleached & I called twice to confirm the pricing & work that would be done. I only found out when I got to my appointment & was told by Geoni, my stylist, I was only booked for a all over color. I was told next time to use the correct term, as if I am a stylist instead of them apologizing for the mix up. At this time no price change was discussed with me until I brought it up. I was principally quoted 185 for the bleach color hair cut and an extra bowl.I had in mind I would spend around $200. I was told my stylist would discuss with me how many bowls I would need which she NEVER did so to my knowledge I only needed one bowl. When I was told my ending price would be around $350 I ultimately decided to not let her continue & asked her to stop before the color, For the bleach and 3 extra bowls that were "needed" Geoni wanted to charge me $193. When I asked to speak to the owner they said she left & Naika called her. They offered no compromise or apologies for the mix up & was told by Naika that the owner said "$193 is where we are at so either pay or we will call the cops. We discussed some more about the events that lead to the mix up and never ONCE did I hear we're sorry we booked you wrong or I am sorry for the mix up. It was only after Geoni called the cops & told them we were walking out which we were NOT (recorded this but can't post videos with the review) that the owner lowered the price to $158. They also kept saying that they did not give me a set price that they said starting at which is not true because I called twice to confirm the price. I asked if they record the calls which they said they do not. Geoni went I believe to speak with someone on the phone & when she came back she said "we do have cameras and record the calls and no one ever told you a set price, you were told a starting price and if you were it was for the all over color" so which is it? was I given a set price or not? When the cops got there though they changed the story & said they do not record the calls that they only have cameras that can capture what is said at the front desk. I ended up paying the $158 & left with the absolute worst experience ever DO NOT recommend. Below are pictures of how I left, my receipt & the two calls I made. I ended up going to another salon, ALICIA'S SALON where I paid total of $110 + $10 tip for color, shampoo, conditioning, treatment, hair cut & styling which she left absolutely amazing! (Pic below)10/10!! I did asked if I could discuss this with the owner on Tuesday, when she would be back, since I did not hear from her during this and Naika said Candace did not want me back there & they would call me Tuesday after reviewing footage to see if I am entitled for a refund which I know will not happen because they only offered this compromise once the cops were there before that I was shut out & told pay $193 and threatened with calling the cops. I do take part responsibility because I should have asked for a third time what the final price would be but my mind was occupied on why was the appointment not book correct and if I would even be getting my hair done because Geoni said she would have to check first to see if she had time & she also said they only had one bottle of the red & it might not be enough. So why even book me if when I called I asked for bright vivid red. I even asked if there is an upcharge for vivid colors. I also did not think it would be a huge price difference for adding bleach for half of my hair. Not once did ANYONE in that salon apologize for their mistake, Naika & Geoni only put the blame on me saying I should have asked how many bowls I need as if I am a stylist & know their process, after I was told SHE would discuss that with ME & to use the correct term next time.

QUOTED $100 FOR A SPIRAL AND WAS CHARGED $300!…read more So I called a couple days before to ask about a spiral perm, they booked me with a Sherry and told me it was going to start at $100. We did discuss the length of my hair which was to my lower back and I made sure to ask again, what is the starting price, they reiterated to me it started at $100 but depending on how many bottles they would need it would be a little more. I have been getting spirals for over 10+ years so I told them I always need 3 bottles and it's usually an extra $5 a bottle. So the day of my appointment came and they told me the person I was scheduled with (Sherry) had changed to Allison. Allison was still working on someone else when I arrived. I waited and we got started about 15 min late, no biggy. While I was getting my hair wrapped, Sherry jumped in to help wrap up on the other side. Sherry was trying to work WAY TOO FAST and the rods were SLOPPY to say the least. Hair was sticking out in places that shouldn't have been and it was just a VERY RUSHED SLOPPY JOB. During my session, my stylist had to work on several other of her clients who came in so once again, Sherry jumped in to rinse my rods out. THIS WAS THE WORST!!! #1, they should have given me clean towels after putting the solution in my hair, which they did not, I had to ask. #2, they should take out the cotton and replace it with fresh cotton to prevent the solution from burning my face which they did not do. Then upon rinsing, her colleague shot a TON OF WATER into my ears and straight down my back to the point that my ENTIRE SHIRT AND BRA WERE SOAKED! I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE BEFORE IN MY LIFE!!! That's not the worst part though, at the very end of the whole ordeal, not only are the spiral curls not "Spiral" throughout, some are just extended waves, but when I asked how much it would be, she told me $300.00!!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN TO SOME HIGH END SALONS AND NEVER EVER BEEN CHARGED $300! They are also honest and tell me, it will start at a higher price, not wait till the end to add on $200!!!! I honestly feel that this was a huge rip off, especially since she quoted me starting at $100 and it turned into $300, plus the waiting for her to work on 2 other clients and my entire back and ear being soaked, plus the burning of the side of my face and forehead due to them not changing out the cotton after applying the solution! I asked Allison to give me a breakdown of the costs and she looked down while telling me "well it started at $100 but due to the number of bottles of solution and your length, it went up to $300. I was appalled and shocked but also felt like this was misleading. She never actually explained to me her pricing justification as she couldn't explain a $200 upcharge! It's not about the money, it's about the fact that she told me $100 starting except that it would be increased due to the number of bottles of solution she would use. If she told me it was $300 from the beginning, I would have gladly said no and booked at another salon. Also, my scalp, and top of my forehead and left side of my ear are burned from the solution since they never replaced it with clean towels or cotton and it's still peeling as of today. 3.5 HRS AND I'LL HAVE TO HAVE IT REDONE CORRECTLY SOONER THAN LATER
