Wish I read the reviews before coming here. I had hope they would do a great job because they were busy. I got a spa pedicure, they didn't trim my nails enough or get the sides of my big toe nails so I had to go home and trim them myself. The massage was literally the nail tech just holding my foot and basically petting it. They are very nice and the finished product was nice but it was absolutely not a 'feel good' experience for me. I like the relaxing music in the background, it could put me to sleep while sitting in the comfy pedicure chair. read more

Unfortunately, my experiences have been consistently mediocre. It feels like there's a lack of effort, as if their priority is just to get customers in and out as quickly as possible. They have high schoolers doing your nails and you can tell they do not want to be there. I wish Warwick had better nail salons! The place does look cleaner than before. read more

I was going here and Lisa was doing my nails, she took her time and was detailed. She's gone and I have tried two other people who were horrible. The owners are rude. The female owner did my nails and rushed through, my powder nails barely last two weeks. My gel pedicure took two of my nails off. Crazy, I won't be returning. So I went here to get my acrylic soaked off after I getting my acrylics done at a very nice nail salon a different one the woman who was filing my nails was very aggressive, and I politely told her three times that my nails were burning and very uncomfortable she said that it was fine and continued and ignored my other times of telling her she then gets to my pinky nail and Completely rips it off both the acrylic and my actual nails so I'm now bleeding profusely in her chair at the nail salon. She laughed and blamed me, and then tried to avoiding the fact that she was the owner and the manager of the nail salon and did nothing to clean up the wound. I now had on my finger. It was the most uncomfortable and traumatic experience I've ever had, I would never get my nails done or any services at this place and I would steer clear of it as they are clearly incompetent and lack basic empathy. Super fast service which is what I love about this place. I hate sitting for so long to get my acrylics filled and here I'm in and out in under 30 minutes. I get gel polish which does occasionally chip due to fast application of the polish, but that's a trade off I'm willing to be fine with for a fast and good acrylic service. read more

I debated writing this review for a couple of months now. I visited Fancy Nails in April 10th, 2024 for a pedicure. I got a gel pedicure with an extremely nice young lady. I went on my trip and thought nothing about it. As the pedicure started to grow out, I realized that my toenail was turning yellow. As the months progressed it turned out that I had gotten toenail fungus from the nail salon. I had not gotten a pedicure for about a year, before going to Fancy nails. Because I had gel polish on my toes, I didn't realize that I had toenail fungus; this lead to severe infection in both of my toenails. Upon going to the podiatrist, I was prescribed antibiotics to treat the infection, however the antibiotics did not help, and yesterday, I had to get nail surgery on both of my big toenails, to treat the infection. Now I am stuck with medical bills and 0 nails on my big toe. read more

They do a fast job, not a good job. I came here because my usual place was closed and I had a broken nail but it was a sloppy job done and it felt dirty. I asked for a plain black dip powder and it was sparkly and none of my cuticles were cleaned up. Will wait a day for my regular place to open from Now on. read more

Not satisfied with the service I requested. I got a gel manicure and the next day my nails turned brown. I called to ask if the gel they used might be old and the male manager informed me to use alcohol to wipe off. Yeah.... that didn't work. This place sucks they were so rude to me and tried to over charge me on their mistakes and couldn't do a simple french tip they also kept cutting me and were super aggressive when I asked to change the nail design and when I tried to explain to them why I shouldn't be charged for them messing up they told me to never come back and yelled at me and STILL tried to make me pay full price...Very rude people to their customers and COULDNT do a French tip design.(They also left green at the bottom of my nails from the previous design I asked for and tried to paint over it...Looked very sloppy) highly disappointed in how they treat their costumers. read more

I never write reviews, but I felt I had to after my experience here. This place really flunked following the amazing gel manicure at Aloha Salon in Newburgh.. I'm pretty sure she only did 2 coats of the gel manicure as it's entirely too thin and started cracking within 2 days afterwards. Also, my thumbnail only looks shiny on about half of the nail and looks strangely dull on the other. All in all, they weren't particularly nice, thoughtful, or deliberate in my nail experience. The salon is always kept neat and tidy. They take everything you say into consideration and make sure you leave very pleased. Do they normally do shoulder massages after you nails are done? The guy that did my nails gave me a shoulder massage after when I was sitting in my chair. I think he did it to look down my shirt especially when he start hitting on my back and let's just say I wasn't wearing a sports bra. Felt super uncomfortable. read more

I love this nail salon! I've been frequenting here for the past year or so and never have any issues. The owners are very friendly and know exactly what're you're coming in for. (I get the same services every time, lol). I have never felt rushed by the pedicures, my SNS nails are always on par, as are my eyebrow waxes. This is a smaller but comfortable shop, very good on cleanliness of the foot tubs and tools. They use the prepackaged single use nail file, buffer for your feet which I always look out for in a nail salon. Also the plastic tub coverings. The staff is very friendly and Jerry and his wife Nina(owners) are top notch with customer service. I will miss this shop when we move. I'm on my way there today, ha! I came here to get a full set and the woman rushed through my nails. She did not even clean up my natural nail at all before she began gluing the tips on. I got a design and she ended up smearing it with the clear top coat. Also noticed that right after I got them done it already looked like I needed a fill. I don't do much with my hands and less than a week later one of my nails already popped off. The rest of my nails also feel like they are already lifting, which shouldn't happen with acrylic. I used to go to the salon religiously, they were clean, kind, affordable and did a great job! I haven't been there in a few months and went back over the weekend and it was a horror! The salon was dirty and un kept, the employees were sitting around in the customer waiting "area" (which consists of two couches) eating, hanging out in bare feet!! And the owners had their son at work that was all over the place. My pedicure was a disaster as well! Not only do they charge extra money for a "mask" on your legs (which costs under $5 in the store) they clipped my cuticles with no softener! Resulting in cuts on my cuticles. When I was getting my acrylic fill I asked for my nails to be shortened, which they did at an angle! While the owner was up attending to his son, I used the file to correct my own nails. They also do not apply the polish on in strokes, but rather a dabbing motion which caused my light polish to look bumpy. I paid $56.00 plus a $10.00 for a job I was not happy with at all :( read more

I hadn't been to a nail salon since the pandemic- so expectations were unknown. Upon my arrival I had to sign in with my name/time/date. Little did I know I was about to experience the worst 30 minutes of my life. They had not soaked my fingers before shoving the cuticle tool on me- and began clipping away and my dry nail beds. I was nearly in tears it was so painful. The manicure lasted a total of 5 minutes. I then sat and waited for my pedicure. The floor was caked with old nail dust so thick it looked like a white sand beach. The pedicure was almost worse than the manicure. I was told to sit in a chair that was not wiped down, but simply soaked in unmarked cleaner. The smell was overwhelming. My pedicure lasted a total of not even 15 minute. My feet were only soaked for a minute before the torture began. Very few steps were done- simply: soak, file, hot rock for 10 seconds, some lotion slapped on, polish, and I was done. For $35 ill buy my own mani pedi kit. No thank you.... Unsanitary and horrible customer service. read more

This place is not my regular place to get my nails done. I decided to tag along with my friend because I was in such need to get them done! The people were friendly I guess however they did my nails terrible. The woman rushed and I asked for coffin and it looks more like a big square. The paint is terrible and she made my nails awfully sharp to the point that I have scratched myself several times. I will just not be returning. Save your money. read more

I drive 40+ minutes just to come here. I love their services and I can promise their pedicures are amazing. Friendly and good price for professional service. I love how they give a nice little massage on your shoulders after your nails are done and drying. I have been to 5 different nail salons decided to try 1 more here at fancy nails and I have not stopped coming. Good location in the cute little town. read more

I used to enjoy going to fancy nails until, I went in one day last summer with a dress on ( it was long and flowing ) I'm very modest. All of the male staff started talking in another language to each other and I could tell it was about me - they were laughing and looking in my direction at the male who was giving me a pedicure ( his face was turning red ) it was extremely uncomfortable for me, I was humiliated and I couldn't wait to get out of the place. In the past, I often enjoyed mani- pedis at fancy nails. The service isn't top notch but you get what you pay for here. Here's a nice tip for you fancy nails - don't communicate in another language in front of your clients, it makes people uneasy and don't talk to each other while your in service with a client, that's extremely unprofessional. I've also heard rumors that most of the technicians that work here aren't licensed, that makes me very nervous concerning sanitary conditions. Came in for the first time for a new set of acrylic nails. The place was empty. Tech was not friendly, but not outright rude. She skipped a step and did not cut down my natural nails before applying the acrylic tips which resulted in lifting. When I went back to have it fixed she just put nail glue on the tips instead of filing off the natural nail with the e-file. Hope I don't get fungus! Not going back. read more

This is the WORST nail salon I have ever been too. I came in for a gel manicure because it was the only salon open within a drivable distance at the time. I am not very picky when it comes to nails, but this was so terrible that I had to write a review. I should have walked out when I had to stop my manicurist from using obviously dirty tools on me. There were literally still pieces of cuticle caked on the clippers, so disgusting. She then took the tray of tools, without washing anything off, and put it in the alleged sanitizer. She also clipped my nails in an attempt to even them out, which resulted in them being noticeably less even than before. The next issue arose when she began putting the second coat of polish on. She had failed to paint the side edges of my nails, and the result looked worse than something I could have done myself. The color was also very uneven. She could tell I was unhappy and asked if I wanted another color. I said yes, and she began taking a regular nail file to my fingers to scrape the gel off. This resulted in scraping most of my cuticle areas as well. I wish that I had never set foot in this salon. I strongly recommend driving into Central Valley rather than waste your time and money here, not to mention risk being "pampered" in unsanitary conditions. read more

Love the owner and the staff clean and friendly and know what they're doing. They're kids are so adorable. I've been to many other nail places and they're just a friendly family owned place.
