She was super helpful with picking a color & also didn't use the drill on my nail before applying the dip which I really appreciated as I'm trying to gain nail strength! Cute nail shop right near the mall. Staff was friendly and service was quick. I got a mani/pedi for $35 and am really pleased with the outcome. The pedicure was really nice and relaxing; the manicure was quick and flawless. While we were there many regulars came and went, the staff seemed very friendly and remembered all of them and were even asking them about their kids & getting ready for back to school. I thought this was nice to see because the regulars seemed really happy with this salon. I would definitely visit them again next time I'm in the area. read more

With an inundation of nail salons, it i hard to find one that doesn't try to give you the fastest pedicure in the world. I see others have written and been unhappy, which is a disappointment. I hope the staff/owners read through these posts and make any necessary updates to the salon. However, I want to write about my pedicure experience. Months ago, I had probably the best pedicure of my life. For the same price as other salons, there was no comparison. I decided to go again yesterday and was glad I did. The pedicure was perfect, the staff never made me feel rushed, and my toenails/feet look perfect. As for all the dirty comments, yes, I can see that they haven't spent considerable time upgrading the furniture or making it look as swanky as a few of their counterparts, but the service is great and that is what matters. read more

My nails come out awesome, last a long time and I have sent my Sister here, my nieces here and My Mother here. I tried to send my husband here but he won't let anybody do his nails. I will never go here again, the man that did my nails was rushing and hurt my cuticles really bad I was bleeding. He made my nails super thick and they are not the same height. I had to go home and file them to the best I could. I also asked for square and he made them more round than square. So yeah I definitely won't be going back and definitely not to the man. The worst part is no one else was there so there was no reason to rush. He finished my nails in maybe 30 minutes and us girls no that's not good. read more

I am very tempted to call the health department. . I stopped in for manicure today. This place was disgustingly dirty. I try to see the best in everyplace. To my surprise my nail tech did not change the towel from the previous customer. Then she pulled out het kit that was dirty. Just wiped the cuticle clippers with the dirty towel. After getting all the dead skin around nails she put the cover on and back in the case. As I look around I didn't even see a sterilized. Wow I won't be going back there again. hope I dont get an infection from their irresponsibility. read more

This place was all wrong! It was so in need of cleaning! My daughter and I went together, first if all when we sat down the tubs were being filled and we were both left while the water came out cold on my side, fine on the other. I had to say hello to anyone that would listen, then I got scalding water turned on and again I was left!! Next my daughter was having her feet done, I was not, I asked , am I going to wait? My answer was snippy saying the other girl had to have lunch, we're very busy you know! HUMPH! She finally came, only to talk in Spanish to her co worker the whole time! I had to hold my foot up, there was no long beautiful relaxing massage of the feet and legs, what a horrible place! Going to pay.... We stood in the middle of the salon I asked where do we pay? It is what it is. The only thing fancy about the place is its name. It seems locals love this place and i was hopeful when a lovely store owner recommended Fancy Nails, but that soon ended when I entered the depressing, dirty salon. Nail dust, nail clippings and crap all over the place. No hostess to answer phones or help clean up- just sad, dead- behind- the - eyes women going through the motions. The polish selection was huge however the bottles were mostly of out dated OPI colors in the very dark range. All of the bottles were old and nasty and my selection of a pale pink color was based on it looked like the newest bottle on the shelf. The mani/pedi was $35.00 and was fast. Nothing special at all. Imagine a sleepover and your BFF paints your nails, but without the chipper banter- that's what it's like! I am used to seeing behind every woman who does nails in NYC a cosmetology license right there on the wall. Not so in MA. My woman seemed to be untrained in any manner of doing nails- no technique or expertise at all. Weird. This is not a place for special occasions or for real nail work or a spotless job(there is clear top coat all over the skin around my nails). But it is if you want something kinda cheap in an ugly setting, this is the place for you! read more

I called to make appts for my bridal party before my wedding... I was a little skeptical only because you just never know.... Well we had 7 pedicures and 4 manicures and my nails needed to be redone from a previous mishap at a home nail salon. We were in and out of the salon in an hour and 10 minutes... I can barely get that at home! There were 9 of us total and they got us in and out in no time. I recommended this to all the girls who came down early for the wedding if they had time to kill. I never write reviews but this place deserves one...TERRIBLE. I've been looking for a new place to get my nails done and a friend suggested This place. I'll start off with the fact that it looks dirty inside! Very unkept. I sat down and told the woman I just wanted a fill on my acrylics with gel polish. She then tried to convince me that I didn't need a fill. I explained to her that I did want a fill and that's why I came here I didn't realize Until she was done that she didn't even take all of my old polish off, so I could see my old burgundy polish under my new red, seriously? My friend and I went to pay. She payed first and they charged her 40 dollars for a fill and regular polish. She was shocked ( I'll also add that her nails are about a centimeter longer than mine) then I went to pay and they also charged me 40 for a fill and gel polish. When I looked at the prices on the wall it says a fill is 18!! I asked why so much he said because my nails are long. I then told him that's fine because I won't be coming back here again. And even after my $40 fill, my nail polish is chipping off 4 days later! Don't come to this dump, you guys suck. read more

My first pedicure of the season and the woman forgot to trim cuticles on one foot. And while her foot massage was lovely, I would have preferred she didn't do that and scrubbed my feet (FIRST pedicure of the season=rough feet) Then I got a full acrylic set, with a French manicure. The woman never trimmed cuticles, or used right size fitting tips. She used white tips, covered them with a clear top coat and charged me the extra $5 for a French. Seriously? I'm not a nail tech, but I know what a French is, and this isn't it. It looks okay now, but once my nails grow out a little, the white tips will be way off... Maybe I'm used to better salons, where they buff the inside of my nail and tip, to "blend" them together, to avoid build up around the dried glue... This place was dirty...my towel was reused, tools were pulled out without being sterile. the owner was my technician. She cut my finger and used alcohol to sterilize. It would stop bleeding and she barely acknowledged she had done it. I left and my finger was red and swollen. When we first walked in owner greeted me, told me to sit down then proceeded to fix a pedicure chair, screwing in the back. I don't know why she had to fix that chair at that moment since it was the end of the day. I would never recommend or go back. read more

Went for a mani/pedi while on vacation. The Spanish woman who worked on my nails had headphones on and kept playing with her phone. She cut me twice, once on my finger and then on my toe. I now have a nasty infection on my toe that I will need to see a podiatrist for. The tools she used were in a plastic basket - not in a sterile environment. After reading other reviews, I now highly doubt they were sanitized prior to being used. Completely unprofessional and the worst experience I've EVER had getting my nails done. They're lucky I haven't seeked legal advice yet for the medical issue they caused. There's a ton of fine nail establishments to choose from. Avoid this one at all costs. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible! I should have heeded the warnings of the other yelp reviews. Rather than being honest with you about the wait time, they tell you that it will only be minutes but what really happens is they tell you to go sit in the chair because they're ready for you but they really do not come for 15 or 20 minutes. I went in for a pedicure and after waiting with my feet soaking in what became cold water for 15 minutes, I got up and dried myself off, without any staff even bothering to take notice, and started to leave. Only then do they implore you to stay as if they really cared. Even if the water wasn't cold, it wasn't a terribly difficult decision to leave when I looked around and really noticed how unsanitary the place looked. Save your time, save yourself from potentially unsanitary and unhealthy conditions and, save yourself from owners and employees who really don't care about customer service. read more

As one who gets her nails done regularly I have had manicures and pedicures done in many salons. This has got to be by far the worst I have EVER experienced. Heather is awful!! Worse than awful. My 4 year old granddaughter could have painted my nails better. My nails were not filed and when I asked her if she would file them the same shape she looked at me as if I had 2 heads. My nails and toes were so bad I looked around to see who could help me but it was obvious that I would not get any help from any of the staff. Heather was so awful at one point I asked her how long she had been doing this...she said 8 years. I asked her if she liked it. She said no. I have taken pictures of my nails and toes (she cut my toe pretty badly) and I intend on reporting her (Heather) and the shop to the licensing board of Massachusetts. They should not be in business at the very least Heather should not!!!! This rating is below zero!!! read more

My friend and I went in to get acrylic nails and we asked if they would do that, which of course they do since they have it on their prices, but what we ended up getting was just a plain manicure with the color we chose out, and they did not do the acylic nails. They made my nails pretty short, literally just painted my actual nails (something that I could do myself for free), and it looked terrible. They then charged us for acrylic nails that we did not get, and insisted that the nails they just painted cost $28. It was absolutely terrible and we got robbed of our money. They literally didn't even know how much to give me for change when I handed them my money (which i was very hesistant to give them) and almost got robbed of more money. One of the workers doing my friend's nails was literally watching netflix on her phone while doing my friend's nails. And then both the workers we got were chatting the entire time and didn't even seem like they cared what they were doing. Not satisfied with my visit at all. This sucks! Don't go there unless you want people that don't care what they're doing and don't understand what you actually want and then overcharge you the incorrect amount for a crappy job. read more
