Worse xperience! What started off as a pleasant service, quickly turned horrible! While sharing a back story on her life- The owner proceeded to say the n word twice to my face. Which thought was incredibly distasteful and disrespectful. Had |not voiced that 1 did not like that word being used around me. It probably would have been said again. Furthermore, I was transferred over to a lovely Hispanic lady after another customer came in without my nail service being completed. She did a great job with my pedicure, but was then asked o finish my nails and as it appeared that she was not familiar with gel/acrylic nails. I truly do not get all the nasty reviews. Every time I've come here in the last few years for manis and pedis and gel manis I have never had a bad experience. Some better than others but never a bad time. Only one time ever have they turned me away for being too busy to handle my service before they closed and even then they were so kind and apologetic they put me in first thing the next morning. One thing thats a little different - and welcomed- is you sit down first and they bring you a folder with the color samples on them - for both regular AND gel colors. So no fishing for a color on a wall or kiosk while everyone stares at you. I enjoy getting a gel manicure here i dont know why but it seems like they really just get it done quicker here. I love that - and really hate beign stuck at the salon forever for my nails. They are qucik but don't skimp on quality or work done. My cuticles are spotless when I leave here. The pedicures are really worth the money - on cape its tough to find a economy priced pedicure to begin with - this one is actually worth the cash for the spa pedicure. Each time I've gone its been a lengthy massage and lots of scrubbing and rubbing! I love it and it the best treat ever while getting that mall necessary shopping done. read more

Saw a new mom getting her nails done (you go girl!) with her sleeping newborn. When her tiny baby woke up hungry, she fed her. That's when one of the men working there THREW A TOWEL OVER HER AND HER BABY. She was wearing a nursing top with cut outs so nothing was hardly showing (not that it matters, breastfeeding moms are federally protected). It's so hard for new moms to leave the house, and even harder to take the time for self-care. The fact that this man thought he had a right to just throw some thing over them for doing some thing completely normal was disgusting. Will never go here again. Shame on him. I love this place. I was scared to go to a nail salon in a mall but now this is the only place I will ever go. 1 they have great employees. My personal favorite people are Mai she always sits at table #1. And for pedicures I always ask for Elena. They have the most reasonable prices on cape. Everywhere else OVER CHARGES. There's a definite undercurrent for high speed, fast money and low quality. They clearly depend on the mall traffic which in most cases consists of out of towners. Located in the Cape Cod Mall, this place doesn't look like much because it's so small and squished together. But I have to say, the woman who did my nails had probably done the best Job I've ever had. The establishment doesn't really have much personality but the quality of work this woman put in heavily outweighs that. The woman seemed nervous when I presented her with my request but there was no fuss and she got straight to work. I asked for a gel French manicure with a blue base, gold line, and classic white tip. The owner even came over and gave her a few pointers. People came over to compliment the color and thought this was a beautiful job! Even whilst on her phone, the woman maintained attention to detail and was an efficient perfectionist. My nails usually feel bumpy from all the gel layers in a French manicure but these nails are completely smooth and neat. I wish I knew this woman's name so I could recommend her; she was the only Hispanic worker and was so patient with me. There are signs everywhere asking for cash tip but she had no problem accepting tip on my debit card. Very accommodating. Good job! read more

I was visiting from out of town and stumbled across Lee Nails inside the Cape Cod mall. I had time on my side so I decided to book an appointment for myself and my daughter. We both got the dip mani and it was perfect. The pictures of the salon posted on yelp is clearly outdated. Not sure if there was a switch in ownership but what I witnessed today was a very clean, bright, welcoming salon and not what's pictured on yelp. The owners are a married couple (didn't get names). I was greeted by the husband, super friendly and very welcoming. He offered every customer at the salon cold bottles of water and walked to each station to make sure everyone was happy with their services. The wife did both mine and my daughters nails. She was very gentle and thorough. I would highly suggest giving them a chance. If I'm ever back in town, I will definitely stop by again. read more

Visiting the Cape, I was in need of an emergency pedicure. I dropped a book on my foot and succeeded in cracking a big toenail cleanly (yet unattractively) in half. While at Cape Cod Mall, I asked a clerk in a store where I should go - she told me to run out of the mall and go into Hyannis. I should have listened. I got the worst pedicure I've ever had at this salon. I showed the nail rep my toe prior to the pedicure because some places don't want to deal with a cracked nail (and I don't blame) but she curtly nodded and directed me to the chair. The polish was removed from my nails and then after a quick soak and very short scrub, the rep gestured for my shoes so I'd have them on after the polish. I asked if she would mind trimming the nails and she sighed a heavy sigh, rolled her eyes and did the strangest thing - she pretended to clip the nails! I swear to you, dear readers! I was so shocked I couldn't say anything. I should have. Next to me, a woman was indeed getting what I feel is a great pedicure - the rep was using the tool to clean under the nails, buffing, etc - all the steps we are used to - including a little chat. Not me. Deadly silence broken up by more sighs. And this is a good place to mention my feet are not those of goats with hooves. They won't win any contests, but they're passable. Then the bad nail. I asked if she could trim it. She shook her head. At that point I politely said it was OK, I'd like to just pay and go. No polish. Then the rep next to her leaned over, had a conversation with my rep and said to me, "Oh sorry, she thinks you want her to take the whole nail off." What?? No, no. This second rep did trim the nail for me and buffed another that seemed to now be hanging at an odd angle. I had the polish done, paid and ran. To Hyannis and had a great pedicure where they trimmed and cleaned the nails after getting over the initial shock of me telling them I had just come from a pedicure. Perhaps if you use this salon and have a regular person you use, the service is great. This could have been an odd event. But I would not recommend this salon as a walk in. I really should be reviewing myself here because not only did I not complain, I tipped the woman. I would never go back. read more

Their new spot in the CC Mall is awesome! So clean and spacious. It is a complete 360 from the old location. The staff is professional and nice. Today it was my third time here. They give the best pedicures and the massage chairs feel great. They are pretty busy but they try their best to get you into a timely manner without making your experience feel rushed. I felt weird about going to a nail salon in the mall but once you are in there you kind of forget you are at the mall. I would give zero stars if I could! I wanted a gel manicure. First, she sliced my finger with her emery file and did not even apologize. Sure, accidents happen but don't act like it didn't happen. Did she think I didn't notice my finger was cut and bleeding??? Then, she put the gel right on my nail with no base coat. I stopped her after one stroke and told her she forgot the base coat. She said it wasn't necessary with this particular brand of gel. I allowed her to continue. This was 40 days ago and I STILL can't get the gel off my nails. I have soaked and re-soaked in straight acetone to the point where my fingertips are dry and cracked and I still have gel on my nails. She was wrong. Went here w a friend bc we were at the mall and needed Pedi's. Everyone that worked there was rude and we could just tell they were talking about us . They had 4 chairs and they were so close to each other. We were left w no choice but to hold onto the persons next to our chairs legs or chair ( how relaxing huh?). Thankfully they were cool about it and helped us in. 2 out of the 4 chairs were broken and didn't vibrate . My friends chair vibrated . Mine didn't . Our pedis were rushed and very messy and nothing special . They just wanted to get you out of the chair and take your money . When the torture was over and she stopped the " so called " pedi on my friend and I; when we were paying they stood and watched to see if we were giving them a tip . Both of us are great tippers . However , they didn't get a good tip at all. They should be lucky they got one at all. We will never be back. They don't even deserve a star . read more
