TERRIBLE AND RUDE! This review is specifically for Kelly. She recently did my daughter's nails, and was extremely rude and condescending to her when my daughter asked for her to please fix little things that she like. When a service is going to cost $100, I assume that the nail tech knows exactly what they're doing and they're going to do everything to keep the client happy. Instead, she rolled her eyes and then refused to honor a discount that she had initially offered at the beginning of the service. It is really unfair and terrible customer service for the nail techs to treat teenagers badly when their parents are not there. My daughter was not rude, she spoke up and kindly asked her. I've tried to like this place multiple times but after coming today I will not be coming back. Incredibly over priced and up charges for shape, gel, etc are excessive. Service is incredibly rushed and results in unsatisfactory quality. I paid $65 for a basic manicure with builder gel today and after asking why my cuticles weren't trimmed after polish was applied I was told I was supposed to ask for it because it's not included with a builder gel manicure, and I left with my cuticles untouched. Overall Im very unhappy with the service I received today and will not be coming back. read more

This was my first time trying this place due to a friend's recommendation and my last time due to how poor of a polish job I received. I will never go back to Cowboys Nail Lounge again and if you want your polish to last longer than 8 days I wouldn't recommend you to here either. If I could give 0 stars I would. My polish chipped 7 days after receiving my pedicure, after work on Monday I went to get it fixed and they charged me $7 dollars. The next day as I'm putting lotion on for work I noticed the polish on my left toe was peeling and missing. The following day which is today the polish on my big toe is now chipped. DO NOT go here. payed 75$ for nails that are falling apart. she charged me extra for the shape but it was supposed to be sharp black acrylic nails. she did clear acrylic and before letting it dry just put a coat of black nail polish on top. my nails are all bubbly and bursting it's black nail polish. price too high for this horrible quality. read more

I've been going to the same nail salon/girl for 4 years. I recently visited Cowboys Nail Lounge with my best friend as she frequently gets her nails done here. I am VERY picky about my nails!!! I typically get Nexgen dip powder with or without tips. This time I got them with tips with coffin shape. It has been THREE WEEKS since I have had them done and I've hardly had any grow out and they still look fantastic I've never gone this long without the urge to have my nails filled. When I'm in DFW area I love to get my nails done here at Cowboys Nail Lounge. The ambiance of the place is so classy with crystal chandeliers and their chairs are extremely comfortable. If I could leave no stars I would. I use to love coming here and I've been going for years. I'm not sure if the place is under new management or what because I went last in I think April or May but this time the nail tech was god awful and the manager was inconsiderate and rude. She refused to listen to me when I said she glued the tip on to my skin and I could feel it digging in. She didn't understand that I didn't want them thick but that she needed to fix this divit in my nails she made. She also almost chopped a chunk of my thumb with the nail sheers. The manager saw the lady wasn't doing well and how upset I had been the whole almost 2 hours I was there for French tip dip set. I ended up paying and not leaving a tip because of how upset I had been the entire time. There was at least 2 other employees that could have taken over and fixed it including the manager. I left and after I got myself together called and asked if I could come back and just have them fix the shape seeing as I asked for basic square and got flare (I looked like I was from the jersey shore) and the women said no, but I could come back next time for a small discount...I was there less than an hour ago. Instead of going back I went to US NAILS down the road by nothin bunt cakes and they were gems and made my fingers look good again for little to nothing. The place looks pretty nice inside, and we went on a busy Friday evening, around six. It was my first time here, but I don't know if I'll be returning. I was greeted immediately and asked which type of nails I was interested in. I chose the dip. My color was A-124, and I was placed in a chair almost as soon as I made my selection. However, I sat in a chair and waited for someone to tend to me for about 10 minutes. During this time, I was offered a drink by the receptionist. After I selected a piña colada, she disappear ed for a bit to make it and also to go back to the door. It seemed like they were kind of understaffed. When someone actually started doing my nails, the lady, Holly, seemed to rush through the job. She wasn't even dusting my fingers off properly after dipping my nails, nor was she placing the same amount of adhesive on each nail. Afterwards, once everything dried, I could see a large bump on a few nails. And her drilling hurt some of the cuticles on my nails. I think that if they are understaffed, they should have clients wait a bit and give quality service. I don't mind waiting a little longer if it means a better job for a service I'm paying $40 for. read more

Once she started she laid the towel over the lit candle that was heating the oil and it caught fire she then went to put the fire out with the hot oil causing it to splash and burn my husbands leg. We immediately gathered our things to leave and they insisted on finishing so we let them. They didn't give us a discount or anything. They were attempting to charge us full price. I didn't make a scene I simply paid 1/2 in cash and walked out. We will not go back to this salon nor will we recommend this salon. This is a beautiful salon! I had stopped in after a long day at work to treat myself to a mani/pedi. Upon arrival I was greeted by their friendly receptionist. She then showed me all the colors that they had for gel nails. They do have a good amount and have matching regular polish to go with. The pedicure areas were nice and clean, new plastic covers for each tub and the implements were in a proper sterile bag. Being in the medical field, this is highly important for proper sanitation between clients! Tracy did a great job on my nails and Holly was fantastic with my pedicure. I feel horrible for not remembering the nail techs name but she did an AMAZING JOB. I didn't have a single complaint. The inside of the salon is super cute and is still very new. I generally enjoy coming here. A friend and I come here often for pedicures. My experience on Saturday was poor because of the male manager. One of my toenails is bruised (black) so the technician offered to paint my nails white and then go over them in pink so that the bruised toe wouldn't stand out. It was a very nice suggestion, but I just didn't like the result. You could see the white underneath and my toes looked ashy and the paint looked messy (see pic). So I asked for the paint to be redone. The male manager did not like this. As I was getting my nails repainted, he came by and pointed at my toes and said something to make several technicians laugh. I don't know what he said but it seemed geared toward me. The lady who redid my pedicure did an amazing job.
