We have worked with Wisconsin Pet Care since December 2015, for a total of one year. Lori, the owner, is extremely responsive and responsible, and she's built an outstanding staff. I was very impressed when I realized that I knew 3 of the staff members independently of Wisconsin Pet Care, from Milwaukee's dog community--MADACC, Humane Society, training, etc. Wisconsin Pet Care is run by people who are very serious about and committed to the well-being of animals, not just those of their clients but animals more generally. I became even more impressed after I became a customer. We have a wonderful but challenging dog--she is a rescue who is extremely strong, with an strong prey drive and still quite reactive after 3 years of training. The only people I trust to walk her are myself and, now, the staff of Wisconsin Pet Care. Before we started working with Wisconsin Pet Care, a staff member came to our house and did an extremely thorough interview to learn about our dog's personality, likes, dislikes, quirks, etc., as well as our preferences and needs as clients. We had a discussion about our dog's reactive tendencies, and it was immediately clear to me that the staff member was very knowledgable about dogs and was experienced at handling challenging dogs. Now, the same staff person always walks our dog, and our dog adores her. It is such a source of comfort to know that there is a person who knows how to handle our dog, and we love reading the little notes that the staff person leaves for us upon our return. One huge advantage of Wisconsin Pet Care is that the company combines loving, reliable pet care with the added security that comes from an extraordinarily responsive front office and a larger staff. Yes, there are some wonderful individual dog sitters and walkers out there, and I've been privileged to work with a number of them. But individual dog sitters can have other commitments, can only be at one place at a time, go on vacation (as they should!), etc. It is reassuring to know that if the staff person who usually walks our dog is unavailable for any reason, there will always be another highly qualified person who will be available to step in. Wisconsin Pet Care is WONDERFUL! I have been completely impressed with Wisconsin Pet Care since we became their clients in August of 2013. Prior to using WPC we had an independent dog walker, but that individual gradually became more and more unreliable. We had added a 2nd dog to our family and our dog did NOT feel comfortable with our walker, and the walker just stopped showing up. I knew that something had to change and it had to change fast as both my husband and I work full time. Enter Wisconsin Pet Care. I was aware of the company, but their rates seemed a bit pricey for me. Well, let me just say now that you get what you pay for, which is an incredible amount of attention and care. I am THRILLED with Wisconsin Pet Care and the level of customer service Lori and her staff provide. Lori is the utmost professional and our walker, Katelyn, is PHENOMENAL. Not to mention the fact that Katelyn specializes in working with dogs with anxiety issues so she was the perfect remedy for our rescue dog, Miley. The same day I emailed WPC inquiring about their services, Lori called me 10 minutes later to set up a consultation with Katelyn. Katelyn called me 20 minutes later and we scheduled the meet and greet for the very next day. I was completely floored with how kindly and speedily Lori handled our situation. I am so comfortable and relieved that both of my doggies have Katelyn as their walker; she is truly a gift. Every time Katelyn walks the dogs, she leaves a little note and occasionally she brings them homemade treats. She is incredibly thoughtful and it is obvious to me that she cares for both of my dogs as much as I do. I could go on and on about WPC. It is a top-notch company, and both my husband's and my interactions with Lori and her staff have always been positive. Best of all, I know that my dogs are loved and well-taken care of by Katelyn. I honestly cannot say enough great things about Wisconsin Pet Care! We got a lab puppy on a whim (who can actually resist getting one when their right in front of you?!). We went through friend's friends and neighbors, as well as other "professional pet sitters". No one even comes remotely close to being as great as Lori and her team. After multiple bad sitters, I was very hesitant on anyone watching Max, I know he's just a dog, but he is my family and like most people I would do anything for Max just like parents would do anything for their children. Lori came over for a meet and greet, I was able to meet the sitters, and most importantly I got to see how the sitter interacted with my dog. Lori and the team put my anxiety at ease! They sent text and picture messages when they were at my house so I knew they had been there, and they even keep a daily journal to keep me updated on what they did that day! Brandon was my pet sitter and went especially above and beyond when he stayed way past his 30-40 min visit when there was a severe thunderstorm that made a power line go down and make my fire alarms go off nonstop. He contacted me at work, took my little pups outside and went out of the building to make sure that there was no real threat, then he played with him outside to protect his little ears! My puppy is only 4 months old now, so we've been using Wisconsin Pet Care for about 1 month now and just cannot be happier. I would HIGHLY recommend their pet sitting services! It's pretty comparable in price to other pet sitting services and you get SO much more. I've worked for WPC for 2 years now and I love my job for many reasons. I have flexible hours, which allows for me to care of my senior dog, I get great benefits, and I get to work with the most compassionate people around. One of those wonderful benefits is knowing that I could trust any of our WPC sitters to take care of my Tucker when I am away (and have!). Tucker is my baby. He is my everything. He's going on 14 and I've had him 10 years. It's safe to say there is NOTHING I wouldn't do for Tucker. In his old age, he needs to go potty every 4 hours and while we've tried potty pads, he won't use them. With his 4 hour time limit, doing things like going to Brewer's games, family functions, date night, etc have been difficult. Enter the wonderful sitters of WPC! I feel proud that I can speak to the quality of services WPC provides on not only the sitter end, but also the client end. Tucker LOVES his WPC sitters and looks forward to his "dates" with them. We've had Nina, Rissa, and Rachel S. care for him and have had wonderful experiences. It's nice to know that whoever comes in will do a great job as the sitters are held to such high expectations (it's also nice to get him used to people coming in while we aren't home because that's usually when maintenance comes). I always get a sweet picture and a note about their visit together. When I return home, Tucker is calm and not pacing at the door waiting for me. I feel completely comfortable trusting them with Tucker's care and knowing that if there's an emergency, that are well equipped to handle it. Truly awesome experience! A coworker told me about Wisconsin Pet Care a couple of years ago and said she wouldn't trust anyone else to care for her two dogs. So, after years of relying on friends and family to watch my dog and often scrambling last-minute or having to cancel plans when our schedules didn't jive, I finally signed up with Wisconsin Pet Care to do drop-in visits and stay over at my house when I had to go out of town for a family wedding last week. The entire experience far exceeded my expectations -- from the initial phone conversation with Lori and the easy online sign-up and booking process to the great care I know they provided while I was gone and the follow up I received from Lori and members of her team after I returned. I received regular emails and photos throughout my trip which gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy my time away to the fullest and they kept a journal at the house with notes on each visit that I was able to read when I got back. I could tell from the moment I first contacted them that the health and happiness of my dog was their number one priority and they even took care of things around the house like picking up in the yard and taking out the trash. Service like this is hard to find these days and I have to say it's opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me to do things I previously hadn't been able to without reliable pet care like this. We usually ask friends to watch our 4 dogs when we go out of town for a couple of days. Even though they always appear to be happy to help I'm left feeling like I'm "putting them out" or inconveniencing them. For longer periods of time away we've used boarding facilities. Not only does that get quite expensive but I feel like the dogs are super stressed when I pick them up. So when we planned a 2 week vacation for the first part of Feb we were in a quandary as what to do with the dogs. We are involved in dog rescue so we posed the question "what do you do with your dogs when you go out of town" to all of our friends in the rescue world. Wisconsin Pet Care was given rave reviews. I contacted them right away and was immediately impressed with their response time, organization and professionalism. After meeting with Lori and a couple of the pet sitters at our house we had no concerns with hiring them. I could tell by the way they interacted with our dogs that they knew their stuff! Being able to go on vacation and not worry once about our dogs was priceless. We knew they were with someone who truly loves dogs, didn't have to worry that we were burdening friends and knew that the dogs were happy in their own home and not stressed out in a strange boarding facility. I really don't know where to begin. I have been using Wisconsin Pet Care since November of 2009. When I first started using Lori my Holly was 11 years old and had a disease that paralyzed her and she dragged herself around. Needless to say I never wanted to leave her. I needed to go out of town and Lori came to meet my "kids" Jake & Holly. I didn't want to kennel them anymore. We were always so stressed out worrying we couldn't even relax on a trip. Lori called or texted after each visit and would send pics of my very happy pups. Being in their own environment made them feel normal and less stressed. In fact I think they were wishing we wouldn't of come home so soon. Our neighbors commented on how patient she was with Holly when she was walking her. Lori treated my pups like they were her own. Not only did she provide outstanding quality care, she continues to keep us informed of new products, proper nutrition, and anything that could pertain to the care of my Pups. When the end came for my Holly, she was there and cried right along with us. Lori and her staff are the best in the area in what they provide. You may find cheaper pet sitters, but you won't ever find better. Pet sitter doesn't even define them. I am in total peace when I leave my Pups now. My husband and I took our first long distance trip together in February 2011 and we were unable to take our dog Scout with us. We were referred to Wisconsin Pet Care by a friend and this was our first time using their service. Pam was our primary sitter. It was immediately obvious that WI Pet Care was a great match for us and Scout. Their service allowed our "furry kid" to remain in the comfort of his own surroundings and stick to his routine, to ease his stress, and ours. We knew from the first interactions he would be safely cared for,loved and maybe a bit spoiled. The information WPC requests from their customers ensures that every detail is covered in "what to do if" situations. Not only were they familiar with our vet, they have working relationships with area companies should something unexpectedly happen on our property. We were impressed when they introduced to us to Pet Protector and provided us with an ID tag, with free 1 year service and a reasonable renewable fee thereafter. In addition to daily texts sent to us by Pam, she also kept a daily log which noted routine activities and some fun interactions she had with Scout. It was such a joy to read when we returned home. I used Wisconsin Pet Care for the first time over the holidays (December 2013). I usually use friends to watch my two cats when I go out of town but everyone had travel plans this time so I was stuck without a sitter. I was a bit hesitant to use a pet sitting service, the idea of a complete stranger taking care of my pets AND entering my home was a bit scary to me. A coworker recommended Wisconsin Pet Care and I decided to give them a try. I first spoke with Lori. She made me feel really comfortable after explaining to me the process and background that all of the sitters have. It's a very professional operation, the website is very informative and the care that my cats received was great! I had a meet and greet with Krista, she sat and talked with me about any special needs they might have, she made sure she was aware of all of the food bowl/litter box locations. She texted me everyday to let me know how they were doing and also wrote daily in a journal they they provide for you and let you keep for future pet sitting needs you might want to schedule with them. She even brought in my mail for me everyday and made sure the thermostat was adjusted to the cold weather so they didn't get too cold or warm. For a company this large and successful, I am still shocked when Lori (owner!) answers the phone for just everyday questions. Lori does an incredible job screening and training her employees. Some things that Lori and her team do exceptionally well: - online scheduling with clear fees, even during holiday times. - excellent availability, even on short notice. - EXCEPTIONAL care. Like the Rolls Royce of pet sitters. The sitters all write detailed emails / texts which include adorable photos of your pets. The sitters contact you if there are any concerns about your pets' behavior. And they write detailed logs in a journal (that you provide for them so you can keep as records). They are all well-trained in medicating animals and caring for special needs pets. We just moved back to Oregon from Wisconsin and the one thing we wished we could have brought back with us is Lori and her team at Wisconsin Pet Care. Truly a one-of-a-kind, easy to work with pet care company. We've had dozens of pet sitters in the past, and these guys stand out as a clear #1. They might seem pricey, but you get what you pay for. I moved to Brookfield with my dog not knowing a soul and needing a mid day dog walker for my little guy Jack. Wisconsin Pet Care was recommended to me, and I couldn't be happier, nor could Jack. He has been cared for by Rachel and Marjorie. These women just love their jobs, and you can tell. Jack gets a mid day walk and I get a daily note in a journal, and a text and many pictures. They understand that our pets are our babies, and treat them like their own. I have left Jack under their care for several overnights, and because I know my dog so well, I know Jack has been well cared for and loved. One overnight Jack became sick with a GI illness and Rachel was so very attentive, calling me, keeping me posted, offering to take him to the vet in the middle of the night. My dog developed a life threatening illness soon after we came to the area, and although WPC had just met us, they were so caring and attentive. Marjorie even offered one of her own dogs as a blood donor for my little guy. Lori has always been so flexible with my schedule, and always available if I have a question. I recommend WPC highly, you can feel very confident your pet will be in the best hands when they can't be with you. read more

I cannot tell you how happy I was to have chosen WPC. My dogs are my children ,and my human children will agree they are treated like "little celebrities".WRC came to my house, met the girls,went over every detail you can ever think of, and I chose "dry runs" where the care givers came as if I where vacationing already and this was a BIG relief to me when I did leave them. When we returned they where so relaxed,I could tell they where well cared for and loved. Thanks to Molly for the long walks to the park and to all the girls for the text updates ,pictures, and TLC. When traveling, there is nothing more important than knowing that your pet is being cared for by a caring professional. Lori and Wisconsin Pet Care are that and more. She is meticulous in providing you and your pet with the best care. She makes certain that all forms of communication are open, your home is prepared for your departure and return, there are alternatives in the case of all emergencies, etc. I have never felt such a high level of confidence in a person caring for my pets (I have lived all around the country, have had pets for 3 decades and travel quite extensively for my profession), including my own mother! After speaking to her on the phone, filling out the paperwork and meeting her, I knew that my cat was receiving superlative care. While I was gone, I received daily texts informing me of my cat's condition, which allowed me to enjoy my trip knowing that she was well. Wisconsin Pet Care is a wonderful company. The owner, Lori, is great to work with. She has always been exceedingly professional and accommodating. We can recommend Wisconsin Pet Care to anyone without hesitation. We have used many of the different pet sitters to take care of our pup when we go out of town. Our dog loves all of them. They always leave detailed journal entries for each visit, so we know exactly how everything went when we return home. Our pup has always been happy and well exercised when we return. We had one incident where our dog was not feeling well while we were away. The Wisconsin Pet Care sitter called us immediately, cleaned up after our pup, offered to take him to the vet, and even cooked him rice and chicken for his next couple meals to help settle his stomach (after getting our approval, of course). We have also had last-minute situations arise, where we needed to request Wisconsin Pet Care's services on very short notice. I cannot really express how pleased and happy I am by the way Katzenweiner (my little cat, ha ha ha!) was taken care of. Everything exceeded my expectations. I am especially so grateful to Billy for the excellent care and thoughtfulness in taking care of Katzenweiner. I was quite apprehensive before leaving for my vacation to be honest, as I had very bad experiences in the past but Billy and WPC executed everything to perfection. I received photos of Katzenweiner and text messages with updates every single day while I was on vacation, which really put my mind, and my heart, at ease. Billy was so thoughtful and kind to even play with Katzenweiner each time he visited him! When I came back home from my vacation, the water bowl was full and clean, the litter box was also clean and the poo container was completely emptied out. I am extremely happy and very grateful for a job so well done. I would not hesitate, not even for one second, to have Billy as well as WPC to take care of my cat again and/or to recommend their services to third parties. We are so very happy to have found WPC. First of all, I submitted an email inquiry and received a call from Lori within an hour. I submitted two emails to another company and left several voicemails, but never heard back. WPC is beyond responsive. We're new to the area and don't have any friends/family to check in on our 3 cats while we are away, so decided to try out WPC. We were not disappointed. Jaclyn watched our cats all 12 days that we were out of the country. She emailed us every single day like clockwork, including pictures of the cats and updates on where she found them and how they were doing. I knew I could count on an email from her at a specific time each day. She also responded very quickly to any emails I sent her, which was also very reassuring while we were away. Jaclyn went above and beyond just watching our cats - she also took out the trash to the curb, brought in our mail, turned on ceiling fans when it was warm, moved the curtains to make it look like we were home, and watered our plants, all without asking. They really do deserve a 5 star. The online scheduling is very convenient and the dog walkers assigned to us our very professional. They do require two walks a week but Lori, the owner has been flexible with scheduling over the holidays and while Buster gets acclimated to being walked. I get pics after every walk from our main walker Katelyn. She is amazing with Buster and when she can't come they have a back up for Buster ready to go. Both Katelyn and Stephanie spent time bounding with Buster before we scheduled his walks. Our dog is shy and he warmed up to them quicker than I've ever seen. We just moved to Milwaukee and this company gave us a great vet recommendation. And on our meet and greet session they gave us a magnet for our fridge when we mentioned we didn't know where the pet ER was! They even brought a journal for Buster so we can easily communicate with each other (and I get an update after each walk). I feel like they have thought of everything. Lori is also quick to reply to questions which is great. This company has it together. read more

Best sitter for my cat Olive, EVER!!! The time leading up to my 5-day trip out of state was pretty intense. I travel pretty often, lately, and no matter how calm and cool I try to play it out, Olive knows I'll be leaving and each day just gets closer to the inevitable. By the time I finally head out the door, we are both pretty wild-eyed and twitchy. It was so great to come home after a wonderful, but exhausting trip and to see her fully recovered and happy to see me! We have been able to ease right back into our daily routine. During my time away, Kate (from WPC) contacted me via text to confirm whether a certain behavior was typical for Olive. I really appreciated this! I was able to contact my vet, get clarity about the situation and then get back to Kate via text. Knowing Kate and WPC were taking care of Olive helped me to relax and just go with the situation. In the past, I hired a different pet-sitting service and there is no comparison. Lori, Kate, and Wisconsin Pet Care have knocked my standards for pet care out of the park. read more

We have been very happy with the service we have received. Jennifer is friendly and is wonderful with our 2 large dogs. You can tell how much she cares about them. One of dogs is special needs and she is knowledgeable about how to care for her and has even given us helpful tips. Jennifer has slept over on multiple occasions to watch the dogs while we were out of town, and we have grown to trust her very much. She leaves the house in great condition. Lori, the owner, gave the dogs treats and toys for Christmas. Jennifer goes above and beyond when taking care of the dogs, she brings a salve when walking them in the snow so their paws don't freeze, and she brings our garbage cans back to the garage on pick up day. The dogs really enjoy their time with Jennifer, and always greet her with tails wagging because they are so excited. She usually walks them for a while and then plays with them. She makes sure to clean up after them, takes them out for the bathroom before she leaves, and makes sure they have plenty of water. Again, we highly recommend them. read more
