I usually use Yelp to find restaurants when I travel. Usually with Chinese food it can be very borderline. This place was so good. Like crazy good. I ordered the general tso. It was all white meat chunks of chicken. The serving size was huge and it was delicious. I honestly couldn't be happier. My daughter got the sweet and sour chicken. Again the serving size was huge. She loved it. I stole a bite and agreed. It was really delicious. My wife got the garlic sauce and scallops. Again. Huge serving, she really liked it. It had a tiny bit of a kick from spices. But she loved it. We have leftovers for lunch. The prices were more than fair. Especially surrounded by restaurants that inflated prices for tourists. This place is a gem for sure. My husband and I ordered 3 sushi rolls, a General Tso's chicken, and an order of crab rangoons on their website and drove over to pick up at around 7pm on a Saturday night. We've been visiting this place for years whenever we're in town. The parking lot is small and pretty tight when it's a busy night. It does tend to get pretty busy, but luckily when we went today there was no wait to be seated. Once we were seated it did take a little while for the waitress to come along and take our order, but we were in a big group and talking a lot so we really didn't mind too much. They used to bring out those wonton chips and sauce to the table when you're seated, but they don't bring that out any more. They brought out the food as it was done, so some were eating for a while before the last plate made it out to the table, but at least it was hot as we got it. I ordered the "vanilla gorilla roll" sushi and it was so good!!! My one kid had the California roll and edamame, and the other one had a small chicken fried rice (which was a HUGE portion). While we were 3/4 way through our meal, my husband and I witnessed a live cockroach crawl up the window of the sushi bar on the outside facing us. It ran back down the glass into the bar and it this point I was fumbling for my phone to take video/photo. I moved the condiments that were directly in front of me and ended up seeing a baby cockroach dead on its back. I immediately informed the manager as she was bringing over a togo box and check. She grabbed a napkin, picked up the dead cockroach said, "I'm so sorry" and handed me the check. A bit more on the expensive side but damn do you get a good experience for it. I got seated for myself the second I got in and the service was phenomenal! The vibe is definitely more of a family oriented experience but it was still decent. And the food was perfect. I'm pretty sure that the restaurant is family owned and a majority of the crew from what I saw was Asians so the food maybe more authentic than average American Asian restaurants.
