We got a steamer for five people and added sausage to it because we had a little more than five people. When we arrived to pick up our steamer everything was laid out and organized. Very efficient, quick pick up. We had everything we needed for the steamer, including the paper for our table and instructions. The food was very fresh. The crab legs cracked perfectly. It was an easy cleanup process. I would recommend this to anybody considering. We also ordered at 9 AM that morning for a pick up at 5 o'clock and that was no issue.

The best of both worlds. You get authentic seafood that you can order online and then bring back to your house. You can order online, schedule your pick up time and the amount of food you get is insane!

I heard about this "experience" and I decided to drive 45 minutes there. You arrive to see that there is no seating as it is not a place to cook or eat your food. It is basically a seafood market that caters to sell you a disposable steamer style cooking kit. The staff is very nice and informative about what they are selling. Except for the marketing of the steamer kits. This is an expensive seafood market. If the price of the seafood was the same as my local seafood market prices then maybe it could be worth the extra cost for the kit. Every part is higher priced even if I were to buy only the seafood without the kit, the seafood is marked up. You will pay three times the cost of crab legs, clams, and shrimp from Sam's or Costco. If you get your ingredients from a local fishing boat like I do from my neighbor the cost is even less for the fresh jumbo shrimp. I experimented and found that I can cook twice as much seafood by weight for half the cost, and no hour and a half round trip drive, than at this place. This is defiantly catering to talentless tourists that have more money than sense and also don't know better.

This is a portion for two and we also added a lobster tail.

This place is amazing!! The ordering process is so smooth and they have it ready for you as soon as you get there and make sure you understand the instructions on how to cook. The ladies in there were also very sweet and helpful! The actual cooking part was also great as well. Turned out just how they said it would and it was the best boil we have ever had and it feels more accomplishing when you get to do it yourself. Highly recommend!!

The whole restaurant is super cute, albeit it does get really hot inside with only fans when there are lots of people inside. The tables are clean and the staff is friendly. The avocado toast has awesome goat cheese and the bacon you can add on is wonderful. The bad: Honestly extremely disappointed today. This is my third time here and I've been recommending them to all of my friends and family. We came in at 2 pm when they close at 4, drove 30 minutes for lunch, for the "kitchen to be closed". No where on their website or anywhere else do they advertise that they may close the kitchen early and I asked when it typically closes and they said they can just decide to close it when they feel like it, so they're only serving coffee and smoothies. We opted for smoothie bowls and they were completely liquid, we had to drink them and not eat them with spoons. There was also chunks of frozen fruit that didn't get blended and there was no spirulina and zero coconut flavor. Not sure who was working today but it was honestly such a bad experience that I don't think I'll be back or be recommending them to people anymore. $13 for basically a banana and handful of blueberries with melted juice and frozen pineapple chunks is highway robbery. Added two stars for the two prior experiences, I guess.

The whole little surf town coffee shop hums like a porch party after Sunday service and the locals lined shoulder to shoulder chatting with one another while waiting for their morning caffeine injection. Art for sale covered nearly every inch, layered together like treasures collected over a lifetime near the tide. Nothing matched perfectly, and that's what made it beautiful. The staff moved through that little café like sunshine with shoes on -- all easy smiles, loud laughs, and hearts so big you could feel 'em the second you walked through the door. Every single one of them treated strangers like cousins comin' in from outta town. Honey, baby, darlin' floated through the air sweeter than the vanilla syrup steaming behind the counter. The pizzas come only in 12" sizes. We ordered a plain cheese pizza, a margherita pizza and a spinach feta bread. We were told that the pizzas would be ready in 20 minutes; it was packed to go in 15. The spinach feta bread was ordered later and took almost as long as the pizzas to be ready. I realized why after I saw it. It looked like a pizza pie: round, same 12" size but cut into many smaller pieces - the pizzas were cut into 8 slices each. The margherita pizza is plain cheese pizza with tomatoes and sprinkles of crushed vegetables. The taste left much to be desired. The important thing is that it fed us. The feta bread is plain cheese pizza with way too much cheese, and the spinach not evenly spread across the pie. Why even called it "bread" when it was made like pizza? There was plenty left for tomorrow's dinner, meaning that we liked it enough to not throw them away. The staff are college-aged young except for one guy who appeared to be in his 70s. There are a limited number of tables for dine-in, but the limited space don't make it dine-in friendly. While Wildfire Pizza is one place we will not be returning to.

We ordered four - Tuna, Shrimp, Chicken, and Veggie- all on a soft corn tortilla. Each one packed a mouthful of flavor combinations that were distinct and memorable. My blackened and seared tuna took a different turn with the bacon, yet it melded well with the cabbage and the spicy mayo. My favorite - the blackened and grilled Shrimp taco - included Asian slaw and sweet chili sauce that complimented the char. Conveniently located in the center of Topsail Island, it was a 15-minute drive from our 2022 Airbnb stay. With next two stays at Saltwater Suites in 2025, the drive was less than 5 minutes. In the three stays, we had breakfast here six times. It had everything we wanted. My son and I are sticklers for routine. In the first four visits, we ordered the same thing: 2 scrambled eggs with toast & home fries for me, and pancakes for him. Orders were placed at the counter. Then we went upstairs to the dining area and waited for the orders to be served. There were no issues with the order, food or service during these visits. In both 2022 visits, I had coffee; in both 2025 visits, I had Mountain Dew. Refills are free for both coffee and soda. My order tasted better than a similar one I had at Tick Tock Diner in New York City. It was great value for money. I always felt that I ate enough to last me through lunch. There was no reason to try anything different. Unlike Tick Tock Diner, NY Corner Deli did not have any TVs in the dining area. I appreciated this as we go to the beach to get away from the world. Furthermore, there weren't many people in the dining area whenever we were here (before 9am). Can't speak for the dining experience at any other time of the day. Things were slightly different when we visited in 2026. Pancakes were not available, so son had french toasts in both visits. In the first visit, I ordered my usual; in the second visit, I tried something different and ordered western omelet (with toast & home fries). Don't let the photo fool you. The western omelet was bigger than it looked. "Hearty" is an understatement. It was so filling that I skipped lunch and had a light dinner. Mountain Dew was no longer available as the establishment defected to Coca-Cola, so I had Coke Classic both times. If you like a decent breakfast and a quiet atmosphere, New York Corner Deli is the place to be. It will continue to be our breakfast place whenever we are in the Topsail / Surf City area.
