I am the owner of Lucky, the puppy who was hit and abused in the Fancy Tails Grooming place in Dracut, MA by Joanne, the owner, and would like to answer her comments in Facebook and her private website.
First of all, what this lady didn't say in her videos and reviews is that after a long time passed that I left my dog for grooming in her place and she didn't call me to pick up him up, I was very concerned about what had happened to my puppy.
With the feeling that something wasn't right, I went to look for my dog. This woman came out of her place yelling at me, saying that; "she had hit my dog" Lucky had a bump under his eye, andhe was in "time out "because he almost bit her and that he "needed to learn!!!"
Learn what lady?
This is a 7 pounds miniature Poodle, who was tied and restrained. Besides that, he doesn't have teeth. How can this small doggy harm a woman who has more than 20 years of experience and is supposedly accustomed to dealing with all kinds of dogs? I am so disappointed that I took my dog to a place where he was abused instead of getting love and care
Again, my dog was leashed, restrained and has no teeth, so there is no reason that this lady had to hit my dog. She should have known how to take control in another way.
She wouldn't give me my dog even though I insisted. She yelled that I have to wait until she calls me. Probably she was trying to gain time for him to heal a little while also videotaping him to make him like he isa very dangerous dog. Probably she was scared of the consequences of animal abuse that she caused him and was trying to cover all the hurt she caused him, not only physical but also emotional. Lucky went from being a happy dog since he has been in my house (six years), to very quiet; the one that once was very happy puppy, now keeps under the bed or the pillows. Now he is scared of anyone or anything.
To add insult to the offense this woman managed to videotape and have pictures of only in his right side; the bump is at his; left side. She posted only one picture which shows a little of his left side in which his bruise and bump can barely be seen. She even suggested that I pay an additional $40.00 dollar fee to train my dog not to bite. According to her, the trainer is a friend of her whose training methods are teasing the dogs, making then mad and then she would hit the dogs to teach them "discipline". I asked how she can think that I was going to pay for her hitting my dog. This woman hit my dog so badly that now, more than a week later, he stills has the bruise. She knew his front legs, especially the left one, hurts. When I left him in that place, I even told them in English and Spanish - -because there is a Spanish woman working there, that Lucky was abused by his previous owners and that their kids used to "play" with the puppy by grabbing his legs and throwing him to the air or to each other, so he has MAJOR issues when it comes to people touching him roughly on his front legs.
You, Lady Knew This Very Well!!!
Probably you were looking for "likes" when you posted that video and bad comments about my dog in Facebook; it is also possible that you had a rough day or personal problems but you need to control your instincts with those defenseless animals who do not have voice and cannot defend themselves. Certainly, you are the one who needs to take training and anger managing classes. Perhaps you should go for all these trainings with your friend, be teased and hit so you can learn to control yourself and not hurt those poor animals that we love and trust to put under your care.
LADY, YOU ARE AN ANIMAL ABUSER!!!
Oh, by the way, how clever of you to delete all the bad comments and videos that are posted on your website and Facebook.
