I can't say enough about how seamless, stress-free and positive an experience I had with Fancy Tails watching my cat while traveling for the Christmas holiday. First off - she fit me in with very little room to spare. Came over, spent time getting to know my cat (Cooper) and where all Cooper's stuff is kept before I left. While I was gone, sent daily texts, pics, and cool updates letting me know how Coops was doing. Definitely good reassurance that your pet is in great hands. Coops is a very timid, shy cat - especially at first, and she warmed up to Tracy surprisingly quickly. Also she brought in mail, newspaper, etc every day. Came home to a happy, and well cared for kitty. As far as booking and payment - also, very efficient and easy process. After answering some basic q's about what was needed online - Tracy followed up via text, and we quickly confirmed the details via phone. I cant thank Tracy enough for looking after my two pups while I was on vacation with my family. After one of my pups had emergency surgery a week before my trip- I was hesitant to even leave. I felt comfortable leaving her with Tracy though. Tracy checked in with me multiple times a day and rushed my pup to the emergency vet for me when she spiked a fever again after being off antibiotics for a few days. Tracy is absolutely awesome. We used to leave the dogs with family but they moved away and since then we had one or two friends try to come by and take care of the dogs - but it wasn't working out. I have (what I think) the worlds most amazing dog, and the worlds most evil cat and she loves them both! What can I say? Tracy did a fantastic job cat sitting for me for six days while I was out of town/the country. She had no qualms about sitting in Hawthorne (outside of her normal service range), and provided daily, informative e-mails with photos of my kitty. She also brought in the mail and provided orientation prior to my trip! My cat is older, super finicky and vocal (borderline obnoxious with the incessant meowing at strangers), and has a history of separation anxiety issues. However, once I got home, I found the cat to be wonderfully happy without any of the shedding/upset stomach/crankiness issues that I would normally be greeted with after a week-long trip. I have always been very tepid about using dog walker services, as our dog is somewhat temperamental and doesn't get along with a lot of people / most men.
