I had the absolute privilege of having Niki do my wedding day make up…read moreand the faces for 4 bridesmaids and my mom and I can not imagine anyone better to be part of our special day. All the ladies were thrilled with how they looked. I watched Niki make each woman feel at ease and talk them through the experience. Niki light them up from the inside by asking about favorite memories from our friend group or about their kiddos. Our looks lasted all day! On my wedding day, I laughed, kissed, cried, danced, ate BBQ ribs- and my makeup stayed as perfect as the moment it was put on. I have a 6mo old daughter who started to melt down in the middle of my makeup application and Niki, being an awesome mama, asked if I needed to take a break to sooth my little one. She didn't make me feel like I was setting us back. When I came back with obvious tear streaks down my face, Niki didn't say anything about having to go back and fix work she had already done. She asked if the baby was sleeping and happy, asked if I needed water or anything and restarted when I was ready. I know it threw off the schedule but Niki took it in stride and focused on making me feel relaxed. This is EVERYTHING! lastly, there are so many little details that happen in the last days/hours leading up to you wedding and Nikis punctuality and professionalism made me feel at ease. I knew I would not have to worry about anything involving make-up because Niki had it handled. She was clear about what kind of space she would need and brought everything to stay self contained. She traveled to the hotel to do my entire bridal party, and did a fantastic job.
